Works like magic
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to set-up and replicate across other machines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Keeping an eye on the pricing as you increase storage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily accessing files for the team
Great tool for file sharing and collaborative work with remote partners.
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to setup and use. Pricing model is fair.
What do you dislike about the product?
Permissions are a bit of a pain point but I think they've recently implemented some changes to improve that area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enabling easier remote collaboration by providing a single source of truth for shared files.
Great idea but still lacking
What do you like best about the product?
We created a great map that shows all paths for different members of our Creative team. For example, we have folders to receive footage from our freelance camera ops, copywriters can now view footage for their clients, we've changed the process that we've had for years and can now be more efficient than ever before.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've heard a lot about speed, but after doing internet speed test, we are still struggling with 4k footage. Whether it's uploading or downloading, it's kind of slow.
Also, to give outside people limited access, instead of them installing an app, which they don't want to do, it would be great to copy a link to share certain folders with them.

speed
Finally we found the solution for sharing and syncing big project files
What do you like best about the product?
Working on the same project without any latency or having to download huge files over and over again, syncing between devices in no time, sharing files with ease, especially with big video projects (300+ GB), After using it for 2 months we can't even think of a life without Lucidlink.
What do you dislike about the product?
No possibility to archive projects to save costs, the only way to access your files is via the Lucidlink client. The cost calculation is not always clear (users/data usage)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
easy file sharing without having to download or sync all files each time you open your projects
Great product to streamline video production across teams
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to copy and paste links directly to fiels
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes I would have syncing issues with files or random tagging issues on mac file
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solved our problem of having to transfer premiere project files and assets between editors
Lucidlink transformed our cloud editing capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
Found the file transfer extremely fast and the pricing has been economical for a large team like ours. I also have found the platform very stable however it can slightly slow down when doing file dumps over 30-40 GB at a time
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like more effort put into education/academy to teach users how to get the most out of the product especially when connected to Adobe Premiere
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating and editing video is almost impossible using conventional services like Dropbox and Google Drive so Lucidlink has been a great way to faciliate this and take our creative capability further
Love Lucidlink!
What do you like best about the product?
The technology is indistinguishable from Magic. I love that end users dont have to really learn any new, complicated front end software in order to use it. Being able to use a Lucid filespace just like any other network mount or external storage makes it super easy to onboard new creatives to the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of "consumer" level 2FA (and not just SSO based login via Okta, etc) is kind of a bummer when working with small companies or freelancers who dont have an SSO platform implemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote collaboration with large video files.
Lucid Link is Simply Amazing!
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid link works transparently on a Windows network and makes it easy to share files with other platforms. It is also the fastest service I tried.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far, but I would like the Linux and macOS implementations to work as seamlessly as the Windows one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of sharing files with content creators and clients. They just need to install LucidLink and they can use their preferred review tool instead of being limited to what the Web offers or to a vendor's review tool.
Easiest way to make cloud storage work
What do you like best about the product?
Is fast, doesnt have egress fees and you can set it up with your own storage provider
What do you dislike about the product?
no real option for freelancers or individuals
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
fast sync and setup for all the parties involved and local caching makes it work seam·less·ly
Simplifies Editing Collaboration, Needs Better Update Communication
What do you like best about the product?
I really like LucidLink's ease of use. I find that adding editors quickly is a helpful feature. I also appreciate being able to work offline, and I’ve noticed that even with a slow Internet connection, it doesn't really make a difference thanks to the local cache. It's so quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, the communication and the delay of crucial updates, like new features, have been the most frustrating part. I mean, they've been promising this new update since November, actually, September 2024 right. 2025. And, you know, that was, what, six months ago at this point? And they're not updating us about that. I really want some of those new features on the updated platform, and they don't seem to care much about helping us upgrade. Also, the setup process is kind of annoying, especially on a Mac, because you have to go into the settings to reduce security, which is kind of airy, honestly. It's a painful setup process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink solves the problem of having multiple editors in different locations, eliminating the need to ship or share hard drives and expensive servers. It ensures no missing footage and allows offline work without being affected by slow internet.
