Some issues but overall okay
What do you like best about the product?
easy to right click and copy a lucid link to share with others
What do you dislike about the product?
it takes a long time to connect to lucid. and if you try to access a lucid link before it connects, it will break lucid and you have to restart the program
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
easy to send photos and videos in lucid to my editor for documentary projects
Not for bad internet connections

Makes workflows easy to connect with remote team members

If you don't have fibe op or top speed internet connection, the benefits are negated.

Working on an international project becomes easy to manage file space

What do you like best about the product?
The LucidLink object storage solution is easy to use and easy to manage users. It's great way to collaborate with our internal team and external contractors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Security audit certifications. I would like LucidLink to have ISO audit certified to ensure that our data is safe. Maybe an annual security audit report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote workforce. LucidLink is helping our marketing department collaborate with each other while storing large objects and making it easily accessible.
Quick and easy storage for a media enterprise
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Lucid Link in my opinion is the ability to compress file sizes for optimal storage. It makes media workflow and orginization far more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only critique is the sometimes lengthy upload speed of footage. When processing major files, it tends to bog down the system. The process prioritizes uploads in sequential order and can be frustrating when trying to upload multiple prodution shoots at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem LL is solving is the connectivity across our enterprise. We are a remote forward company, and the servers make it easy for everyone to connect to different projects.
Somehow they are doing magic...
What do you like best about the product?
That my remote employees can work with the same level of connectivity and speed as we would if we were in the same building together.
What do you dislike about the product?
Streaming files as they are uploading doesn't work as well as LucidLink makes it sound like it should, but everything else works so well, and it's not a feature I actually need. It feels more like a sales gimmick.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of connecting files to my remote employees at top speeds.
Cloud storage, delivered to your home - so you can collaborate again..
What do you like best about the product?
Data and Media is in the cloud- without having to copy locally, I can edit in my favorite NLE, as if the data is Local. I'm back to having what I need, when I need it- not having to overload my pipes and local storage
What do you dislike about the product?
For Editing performance, you use the IBM storage- the marketing isn't clear, and so many think just "any cloud bucket will work". It can sit anywhere, but is only performant on specific storage under it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Colaborative workflow as if we're all in the facility again- but only with one copy, delivered data as I actually need it, not vats of storage to cart around and maintain in many locations.
Amazing File Sharing Software
What do you like best about the product?
LucidLink is really helpful for sharing files with the team, especially large-size files. It is efficient for team members to utilize sources across all the teams in remote work situations.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven't experienced any downside to the software. To me, only the setting up is the most complicated part of the entire user experience. Once it settled, everything is really good and work smoothly.

As a motion graphics designer in a remote working situation, LucidLink provides the most convenient file-sharing service for me to utilize all the assets, footage, and resources from the team. It is the powerful feature of LucidLink
Great for sharing
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use; fairly intuitive. Easy to scale amongst large groups.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very demanding of my computer's energy - difficult to disable it from opening upon launch of my computer which slows the entire system down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing files amongst an international workplace and allowing for real time audio update sessions.
Fast file sharing for remote users. Really helped us out

Speed is very good. Can stream video, open pro tools straight off Lucid

Some issues encountered. Apple Logic bundles mod date does not update correctly

Remote users need fast access to files

That I just had to update once to edit the documents and it was so collaborative.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I couldn't use my mobile device. I never figured out how to use for iPhone.

It is solving the collaborative nature of film production with people in multiple location during the development to post process.
