Immediate Feedback

  • April 25, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
PhishER providing an immediate response to users reporting suspicious emails has reduced the number of emails forwarded to me when in question. Our team also uses the PhishRIP option, removing emails dispositioned as a "threat" from all mailboxes.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first it was a little confusing as to what manual steps I needed to take to disposition some emails and get them set to resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Users are no longer forwarding emails to the IT department for disposition.

PhishER is an excellent self-service check for phishing and threats delivered via Email

  • April 24, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Before PhishER, IT had to manually check every suspect email reported to us. Now, we only need to check email with an "Unknown" verdict. Saves us a LOT of time, and risk! Since email remains the primary vector by which cybersec threats are successfully delivered, having this additional layer of protection for the email that gets through our front-end scanners is critical.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside in my opinion is that as an engineer, I would like to see the specific reasons that PhishER assessed a particular email as a threat. This is a small negative, however!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PhishER is adding additional protection to our email environment, and of course that is of great benefit. It's also providing a business benefit by automating the reporting and initial assessment of suspect email.

This tool saves time and money in determining if a reported message is malicious or not.

  • April 21, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
You're getting a lot of bang for your buck with this tool. We deployed this tool about a year ago and have had around 400 users reporting messages. Having the tool to work with our security awareness training really helped hammer down the impact phishing can have on an organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform could have a few more options when it comes to reporting back to the reporter. You can work around these limitations by making your available messages clear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business had a big issue when it came to processing reported messages. KnowBe4 makes it easy to report and respond to phishing messages that come into the domain.

Excellent service - PhishER and Blocklists

  • April 21, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It provides an easy way for users to submit and for IT to identify Phishing emails. The Blocklist feature and MS 365 integration make management much easier
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything that I "dislike."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of users forwarding emails to me, which effectively hides the original mail headers. It greatly simplifies the task of monitoring, evaluating, and responding to user submissions.

Streamlining Phishing Attempt Reporting and Management: A Game-Changer for Schools

  • April 21, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about PhishER is the email threat management. It simplifies the process of identifying and responding to phishing threats, allowing our staff to easily report phishing attempts. The user-friendly interface and automation capabilities have reduced the IT department's response time to potential threats, improving our cybersecurity.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were some minor limitations in its initial setup. We had some difficulty getting the Gmail add-on deployed due to the fact that each end user had to input the license key. This happens when an organization is only using PhishER as a stand-alone reporting tool. For smaller IT teams optimizing its full potential can be time-consuming initially. However, once configured, it is a great tool for monitoring and managing phishing attempts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PhishER has improved our cybersecurity by providing an easy reporting system on phishing attempts for our end-users. It streamlines threat management, creates a culture of cybersecurity awareness, and integrates with our email platform, GMAIL. PhishER provides my staff with a tool to report suspicious emails, providing a first layer of defense. It has been invaluable for our IT department.

PhishER good and bad

  • April 21, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best part of PhishER is the ease of reviewing all reported suspicious emails and how it learns which email flagged as clean to automatically do the same if similar email messages were reported again. The most helpful part of PhishER is the capability to query for similar email messages, and further action can be taken.
What do you dislike about the product?
The capability to query for similar email messages and quarantine is great but it's lacking because it fails to find many similar messages where similar messages ends up reported by the users instead of already being quarantine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The IT department usually get emails individually or an IT ticket asking if a suspicious email is legitimate or not. PhishER decreased that interaction (where IT staff have to take time to review the suspicious email, take action, and respond back to the user) as it is complete that same task automatically. It also provides a timely response if the email is clean. This is benefitting us because actions are being taken to address suspicious emails received.
