PhishER exceeds expectations.
What do you like best about the product?
The integrations are extremely helpful. We are able to integrate VirusTotal for additional scanning of URLs and file signatures to identify threats that may have made it through our Email Security Platform. We are also able to integrate our Helpdesk application to auto-generate tickets for Threats and for submissions that do not have a conclusive disposition. Both of these integrations save us time. The platform also allows us to attach the original message to an acknowledgment email for submissions that are found to be clean. Again saving us time.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have been on the platform for about 2 years. At this point, I have not found anything in the platform that I do not like. One feature I would like to see in the platform in the future would be a sandbox to allow security professionals the ability to detonate malicious attachments/URLs/code to allow us the ability to see the behavior of the attack. This would help in our threat hunting throughout the complete enterprise network.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we are solving with PhishER is the time between our email security firm acknowledging/blocking a threat and the few messages that will slip through that crack. PhishER provides our users the ability to report these threats so we can go back to see if other users have been affected before the email security starts blocking because of the found threat.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use with button being right in Outlook.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike at this point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Users are able to easily push phishing and spam emails to KnowBe4 and our IT provider rather than forwarding emails to me or the provider.
PhishER, great add on for email protection
What do you like best about the product?
PhishER is a great tool to protect our mailbox users since it seems very good at detecting malicious emails, malicious attachments and malicious web links. So far, since we implement the PhishER, our email security problems have greatly improved.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the time that the system takes some time to analyze and review an email that was flagged as malicious is too long and that up the risk of another user being infected with that same email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used PhishER to add another layer of security since malicious emails are now so dangerous and very hard to resolve when they start spreading on a network so the best protection is to prevent emails from even getting into the mailbox.

Don't hesitate to add PhishER to your email protection services.

It's automated so it works as soon as I click the phish alert.

Sometimes trying to manually diagnose can be tricky.

That it's ease of use makes me feel more secure.
So Easy to setup and use
What do you like best about the product?
PhishER was a perfect fit for our small organization. We can submit phishing emails and get reporting without the expensive cost of an email filter with our O365 Exchange setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the Phish ER RIP application is useful, and I just hope there are more suggestions in the future for setting up SPF, DMARC and tightening default security settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking how many phishing emails bypass our security, what types of messages, a central, secure way to submit malicious messages without having our IT Team click to analyze them in person

What do you like best about the product?
Sales and support communications are amazing and helpful. The videos and gamification helps everyone learns, and it is all relevant.
What do you dislike about the product?
There Is not much to dislike with KnowBe4
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Answering every email without at least looking at it to see the validity of the email. We are now able to focus on legitimate customer emails, which grows the business

Listen to your Sales and Support reps. They know what they are doing and will not steer you wrong!
PhishER has made detecting and mitigating risky emails/ attachments easier.
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that the portal is well developed and straightforward. I like that any emails that pass our initial mailbox security rules are then analyzed against Knowbe4's database and removed if found malicious.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isnt any major flaws when it comes to phishER. The one thing I would like to see is a true user provisioning and SSO experience for Azure AD cloud-only tenants.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving security-related incidents that pass our normal spam and phishing filters. PhishER paired with PhishRIP has helped us remain secure in our day-to-day operation. It has also allowed for a seamless end-user experience.
Essential for mid-size firms
What do you like best about the product?
We contract out for IT services but do not have anyone internal to assist in day-to-day assessment and resolution of suspicious emails that may make it through our walls. Phish ER makes it possible to address this problem without consuming valuable attorney or management time. The customer support for onboarding has been excellent. We paired it with an educational package that has greatly increased our confidence in our human firewall.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like all new software, someone has to learn how to use it. However, our assigned customer support has helped break the learning process down into digestible bites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KnowBe4's stress testing revealed some weak links in our human firewall. Having PhishER gave us a simple process for our staff to learn to address suspicious emails the same way. The PhishRip adds an extra level of protection above and beyond our expectations - not to mention a time-saver.

I am solving for the lack of staff. I can now prioritize their time on other activities.

What do you like best about the product?
We were preparing to create our own training for our team to help train them to spot Phishing scams when we came across KnowBe4. Having the Phish Alert button is making it easier for our users to report potential phishing attacks to us, and having the ability to then rip them out of other users' inboxes is a great tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to go through a few clicks to get to the PhishER section after logging in to KnowBe4. I can't log in directly into PhishER
