Great platform and customer service!
What do you like best about the product?
Prophix has changed how we create and present financials. It's been a huge help in automating our budget process! We are looking forward transfering more processes into Prophix.
What do you dislike about the product?
Prophix has been great overall but it's a huge time commitment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Budgeting, Monthly Financial Reporting - Saving time and providing detailed and accurate data.
Highly Recommend Prophix
What do you like best about the product?
Prior to onboarding Prophix in 2021, we budgeted using excel templates and then a another budget software that was not flexible enough for our organization.
During the onboarding process, as an adminstrator, I helped to build everything from scratch with our consultant. This was extremely helpful in learning the system and things it can do. It also provided me with the confidence I needed once we were onboarded and the training wheels came off.
Prophix is an amazing tool and has helped to ease all of our pain points throughout the budget process. The end user experience has also improved vastly and I'm no longer receiving the complaints I used to during budget season. I have not had a scenario where I wasn't able to accomplish something I wanted to within Prophix.
Prophix allows you to have all of your data at your finger tips. For us, this was huge because we were able to consolidate multiple systems into one.
We are able to produce reports much more quickly without manual intervention once reports are set up you simply update the dates.
Our organization has the CSP and that has been very helpful any time we have questions or are looking to add sometime.
Overall, Prophix has been a great investment for our organization and I can't recommend more.

N/A I don't have any negative feedback to provide. If something can't be accomplished in a "traditional" manner there is always a workaround.

For the most part it is a great tool and it does not have any disadvantateges. There are few things that could be improved like dashboard editing functionality. It lacks formatting feature that of excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solved the problems of not having data in excel that needed to be manually consolided and then turned around to provide reports to management and executive teams. It also improved our end user satisfaction as it is very easy to use. Management was super happy after we implemented Prophix.
It is also solving our problem of providing results at a much faster rate. We can generate and distribute reprots that same day we close the period, where in the past it took few extra days.
It is also providing ways to be able to analyze and review data much more diligently. Much more data can be reviewed by fewer people with Prophix.

Great user interface, good reporting software
What do you like best about the product?
Prophix allows our business to integrate our data from another source and report directly out of Prophix. The use ability for my position in the company is great. Building Reports directly in Prophix is an easy task and I love the ability to automate not on ly reporting, but forecasting too.

Sometimes we have issues with integration that halt our reporting.

Bringing all of data together for easy to read reports.
Prophix offers a great out of the box solution for FP&A that can be customized as needed
What do you like best about the product?
I like that through the implementation process, we had very knowledgeable consultants who took the time to listen and understand our user stories. The product pulls in data from various sources in various ways, and provides many learning opportunities through their active use group.
What do you dislike about the product?
The work that needs to be done on the front end can be a LOT depending on how complex your planning and reporting processes are.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a very outdated report distribution process that involved printing multiple different reports and delivering those reports to various stakeholders manually. We also had a very manual planning process that took months. With Prophix, we have a workflow that distributes the various reports that are now automatically generated. Our planning process is now mostly in the cloud, and there is greater transparency in our completion rate.
Good System, Good Support
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. When issues arise the vendor support system is really good.

One section of the system only accepts xls files for upload.

We use Prophix for payroll, opex, revenue and capital budgeting.
Great for budget setting, reporting, forecasting, cashflow and more

Easy to set up and use, importing and transferring data is simple and there is no manual intervention needed in producing monthly reports.
Monthly reports are available on the dashboards for budget holders who can then open their report from a chart and drill down into the details.
Being able to update the reports and then get feedback using the workflow speeds up the review process.
We have cut our month end reporting to 5 working days from close to producing the board reports, saving time and making the reports more accurate.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have been using Prophix for nearly 3 years now and struggle to find anything that I don't like, now that we have set up all of the reports and can just roll them forward each quarter or year we save hours of hard work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prophix is giving us more time to review the data instead of spending time pulling the data together into a report, this is done automatically and without human intervention there is less chance for error.
We have set up a cube in Prophix to allow us to pull data in from our task reporting software so we can report on any behavour changes week on week as well as month on month to try to identify any patterns ahead of the trend.

Nothing as such there is perfect support if somehting goes wrong

Extensive Reporting Solutions
What do you like best about the product?
Our company 's reporting structure is always evolving. Prophix allows us to consider multiple options to source data, optimize reports, distribute reports and work within workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any system, organization is critical to performance and adoption of new systems. I would like to see additional file system features that allow for grouping, tagging of templates, processes and views. One of our challenges continues to locating the relevant files. I would like to see a unique identifier of any object that can be printed or shown on any report or screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prophix has allowed our company to distribute a wide variety of information to many users quickly. It also forces us to keep data systems updated. More specifically Prophix has replaced an aging Accounting and Budgeting tool with a highly flexible and innovative tool. We are always looking to adopt new features to better our processes. Our company did not want to outgrow it's primary reporting tool.
