What do you like best about the product?
What impresses me most is how well it organizes files and how easily I can share them with other clients. It’s excellent for locating content, and the interface is very user-friendly and straightforward to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s one thing I don’t particularly like: when uploading large files, the tool is slow, and it should be more efficient. That’s all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Personally, this tool has helped me guide clients more effectively and answer their questions without any issues, thanks to closer, more personal communication.

What do you like best about the product?
The way Canto organizes files is very user-friendly. Its management system is powerful and supports automatic asset management, which really impressed me. On top of that, content can be shared securely with other users while still maintaining copyright and brand integrity.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I’m not entirely convinced about is the pricing, since it feels quite high for such basic functions. I’ve also seen many users comment that the advanced search isn’t always efficient or consistent, which has sometimes led them to search for files manually instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto has been very efficient for me. I manage a large number of digital files, and this tool is secure and fast for distributing and finding them. It’s also easy to use, and it has saved me from having to search for photos manually.

What do you like best about the product?
What I liked most was the impressive search engine—finding images is incredibly easy and straightforward. Overall, I found it to be a very intuitive, user-friendly tool that’s simple to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is that some of the more advanced features are expensive. I’ve also noticed that when I’m working with large volumes of files, the performance drops considerably.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It offers excellent visual organization and saves me a lot of time on manual tasks. It’s also a very secure platform: its granular permission management helps ensure that files aren’t modified without proper authorization.

Helps Keep Project Files Organized Without Wasting Time Searching

What do you like best about the product?
In my work, we deal with a lot of files related to project documentation, images, and reference materials, and Canto has helped keep all of that in one place. What I find most useful is how quickly I can locate a file when needed, instead of going through multiple folders or asking others. For example, when I need a specific reference during a discussion, I can search and access it immediately without interrupting the flow of work. It also helps in sharing files with team members without repeatedly sending attachments, which saves time during regular coordination.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Canto is highly efficient overall, there are a few areas where it could improve. At times, the initial setup and customization of metadata or taxonomy can feel slightly time-consuming, especially for new users without prior DAM experience.
One thing I’ve noticed is that organizing files properly requires some initial effort. If assets are not tagged or structured well from the beginning, it can become slightly difficult to maintain consistency later. Also, for new users, understanding how to organize and categorize files effectively may take a little time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier, files were scattered across local systems and shared drives, which made it difficult to find the latest version of a document or asset. This often led to delays during discussions or rework due to using outdated files. With Canto, everything is stored in a more structured way, which reduces confusion and saves time when accessing or sharing files. In my daily work, this has improved efficiency because I can quickly retrieve what I need and focus more on the task instead of searching or verifying files repeatedly.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Canto's ease of navigation and the way it categorizes topics, making it simple to find the correct images aligned with company guidelines. I love the availability of multiple formats like PNG, JPEG, and GIF, which is very convenient. Having all resources in one place without needing to open additional links is a big plus for me. The initial setup was very easy with Single Sign-On (SSO), making the whole process straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there could be more pictograms related to the new branding of Alstom. These pictograms are used widely in my presentation decks and need to be reworked to align with the new branding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Canto to get correct images that align with company guidelines, and I like that it eases navigation, categorizes topics, and offers various formats.

What do you like best about the product?
Canto has been a wonderful way for us to organize our photos and share them easily with our community, so they can help themselves when sourcing images from specific events or for broader themes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canto has been a really solid product for our needs. It does take a fair amount of staff time to enter and maintain metadata, but that would be the case with any DAM software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto has made it easy for us to share photos with our community members and, in turn, empower them to access those photos without taking up staff time from my team. The metadata tagging and facial recognition features have been especially helpful for sorting through tens of thousands of photos and quickly finding exactly what we need—and who we need.

What do you like best about the product?
Canto has made it easy for our company to store and share content across the organization, even if they aren't users in the platform. I love that we can easily share internal files through the share link and has become a frequently used feature for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside for us is the pricing. We love the features but are constrained by a tight budget and have to use the storage we have strategically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to tag and store large amount of content across multiple brands. We often have a hard time tracking approved assets and keeping them organized by brand with easy search features.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Canto's robust DAM platform with its AI metadata tagging, which makes organizing and managing content easy. My favorite features are the portals, which save me a lot of time and make it so I don't need a team of people to manage everything. I also switched to Canto from another product because it's much easier to navigate. The initial setup was very easy, which was a big plus.

I would love if there was a way to mount Canto to a desktop to make uploading and downloading more streamlined - so I could create automations for moving files.
