Wonderful Product - Saves loads of time and effort
What do you like best about the product?
the tagging and search functions have helped us to use canto to entirely replace our marketing photo archive. Sharing select groups of photos with other people outside the organization is also very easy. This product has saved us hours of work and has been worth the expense.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were lower priced options of this product for personal or smaller business use. it makes sense for my company but that price point is not accessible to everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saved time and effort in sorting and management of marekting photo archives. any time we need a photo for press, website, etc we can find it quickly and share it easily. much better than our old mazes of files.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Worth it if you can justify the price tag. truly saves hours in photo management.
Great for all your DAM needs
What do you like best about the product?
Canto makes it super easy to share, filter, and search our thousands of assets. You can also customize the UI so it fits your needs and your branding.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing stands out as something I really dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have many digital assets as an e-commerce business and Canto makes it easy for us to view, share, and organize those assets.
Functional and Effective
What do you like best about the product?
Many of the features of this product I like, but one that stands out is the ability to establish Portals and create client-facing asset libraries.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the terminology within the platform is strange. For example, knowing when it makes sense to use folders vs. albums is a little diluted. But overall, it is apparent that many of the seemingly ancillary features for my team are there to solve problems that we either don't need solved, or haven't yet figured out how to best implement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool is used primarily to allow assets to be available organization-wide without having to redundantly export multiple file-types for every use-case.

Be sure to ask questions about how other organizations are using some of the functions.
Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to tag photos, create new folders and albums. It's also easy to add your own fields to fill in on each image. I love how you can also apply tags in bulk before you upload photos.
What do you dislike about the product?
i wish it was easier to rearrange folders and portals. We wanted to remove folders and albums from portals as people we wanted to remove access to assets but wasn't able to do that. We had to create all new folders instead of just rearranging them. I also don't love how you have to create albums within folders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Canto to manage all of our product photography. We are also able to share our photos via portal to our wholesale partners easily with this.

Canto is a great digital asset management software! I would recommend to anyone looking to store, tag and manage photographs and video.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints! Canto meets all of my needs.

Categorization of photos for easy access.

Easy to use, large simple icons. Very nice aesthetics.

Uploading larger files can take a large time, which i suppose is expected.

Is an friendly and easy to use tool
Easy functions
What do you like best about the product?
We have a lot of files stored on image relay and it's easy to find what I'm looking for with the search tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any complaints at this time.

A lot of our training videos and marketing brochures are stored there. It's helpful to have it all in one places and stored online if anything were to happen to our server.
Great for getting information around
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate to the information documents my company puts out.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike from my perspective because I use it to review company information documents and videos.

I don't know the full extent of what Image relay can do but for what i use it for i would say it is great.
Social Media Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and the organization. I can easily search any tag of a photo that I am in need of and it pops up. Snow day and I have to announce a campus closure? I just search snow, and I can choose any photo of our campus that has been tagged as snow. Perfect!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is occasionally a little bit of lag when using the back button to go to a previous page. The download of the page is a bit long and I will end up clicking on an old file and then it refreshes and I have to start from the beginning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have four students who work under me. And when they need to post photos, instead of coming to me and having me send one, they can log into ImageRelay and find their own and create a post from there!

Its a great way to get organized.
