Canto!
What do you like best about the product?
Our company has many remote workers, and other organizations under the umbrella. so it's nice having a file storing system that anyone can reach. It's also been super convenient for sharing files with people. Lots of great tools in canto for tagging and keeping all the files organized and searchable.
What do you dislike about the product?
it's something so small that I'll figure out eventually. I don't like you can only upload things into albums. and albums are organized into folders. I just feel like we normally upload into folders. See such a small complaint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that is solved is we no longer have to share a (very slow) drive to store are digital assets and now everyone in the company is learning how to navigate canto so they don't have to come to my team for whatever they need.
Much improved over the previous interation
What do you like best about the product?
The previous perpetual display of search results which often consumed all the system RAM was Image Relay's greatest flaw as it cause the browser to freeze. The latest iteration has fixed this by limiting results to 100 items. This has increased usability exponentially, although it would be even better if the limit was increased to 200 or 300 items. The new boolean search and modern interface is also appreciated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Generated previews from images embedded with Adobe RGB profiles do not respect the profile and causes the previews to be over-saturated even on color profile-aware browsers. While sRGB embedded images display properly, it makes less sense to store them with sRGB profiles.
Inability to carry over metadata from PDF files.
Limiting search results to 100 items actually decreased productivity as more clicks are required. The perpetual search results is actually faster if total number of results did not consume all the RAM.
Folders can't be omitted from a search. We have old folders with huge number of items that don't have to be queried for every search.
Folders are sorted by date of creation and will not conform to a sorting scheme. They must be sorted manually. While there are times when a custom sort scheme is useful, sometimes it is not and they have to be hand-sorted every time. Implementing an adjustable setting would be appreciated.
Advanced search panel continue to display even when I have navigated away from search. Clicking on Collections and then back to Library clears the panel.
Downloading the auto-generated Screen Ready Images are too small even for web use.

As our assets now sit in the cloud, sharing assets online is far simpler without the complications of granting users access into our local servers which they may or may not be able to do. With Image Relay, all they need is a browser and login information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
An inexpensive DAM system which has improved quite a lot. If it was the previous iteration, I would not have recommended it, but at its current state, it's a thumbs up.

Great price for quality product that has all the functions I need.

Has a few bugs here and there that caused a few delays.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great for sharing across to other shareholders that can view your items.
Practical but simple and straightforward tool
What do you like best about the product?
After updating the old system, my client was able to download part of the work that the creative team had previously done to an account services team. That team was able to meet the clients' image requests without involving the creative group. It helped speed up responses to clients and suppliers, as well as balance the workload.
What do you dislike about the product?
For software that has been recently developed, it seems quite simple in style and function: we only receive what we specifically ask for and there's nothing wrong with that, but a little innovation goes a long way. Why not connect it with actual folders in our Microsoft Windows operating system like Dropbox? At some point, we will have to store all the files somewhere to upload them to Canto, so why not allow a direct upload from a designated folder window without having to open the browser?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The technical support service of Canto helped my client obtain their historical invoices, get a technical support contract, and resolve the issue. It is important to note: the support helped me resolve the issue before my client paid the contract invoice. If you are looking for a simple and effective program, this is the right one; if you need something more comprehensive, there are many alternatives.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Although the interface has undergone multiple changes, it is generally a quite intuitive interface. Additionally, the representatives of Canto have always been quick to respond to any problem that has arisen.
Image Relay Helps Save Time and Offers a Great Solution for a Cloud-Based Storage Library
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to upload and save all files in one place and allow for easy online access as well as the ability to search and tag for quick reference later
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could tag photos in the large view mode without having to save each time on each image before moving to the next photo in the album
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Offers much better access to photo library for our company and allows us to search across all photos. Also allows us to store everything in one location which is great.

Simple and Effective
What do you like best about the product?
It’s very easy to use. I’m able to upload many images (including different file types) and videos, and easily organize them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really think of something that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to share images within the office and with our marketing team to forward to business customers.
Easy, Efficient Elegance
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the organizational and design control that I have over what my guests see. Everything is easily adjustable, from folder order, to images presented on the folders, including the size and position of the image previews. This allows me to present professionally organized product images to our guests.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only nitpick that I would have is that positioning the image preview for a folder cover is sometimes a little bit tricky; however, this is a very minor issue.

With Image Relay, we are easily able to present our business partners with access to our product images, videos, and sales sheets.
Clean, organized and sharp
What do you like best about the product?
Image Relay has been such a great partner. Going from our previous site housing our images to this platform has raised the bar, and allowed us to really share our assets with our partners in a clean and organized format.

Most issues that we have had Image Relay has worked to resolve.

This is our partner facing platform for access to all of our product and model images, our collateral and merchandising, and more. We are able to offer partners an easy-to-use site to pull what they need for marketing.

Great platform to have all your assets in an organized and clean view. Easy to use with great support when needed.

We store a lot of very heavy graphic files in one place. Image Realy is a great backup service for publishing company.

If you looking for a extremely intuitive content manager for your company - just choose Image Relay.
Always easy.

I'm able to add images to my cart as I find them, then download them all at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints! The content is controlled by our marketing team, so I can't rely on it entirely to complete my own work. There's not enough content. But what is there I can be certain of.

Brand guidelines and logos are always up to date here. We also keep shared images here to use for presentations and training modules.
