Canto Review
What do you like best about the product?
It is incredibly helpful how organized Canto is. Everything is titled and in an appropriate category with descriptions, which makes finding things and knowing what everything is, much easier
What do you dislike about the product?
I primarily use the marketing resource portal so I do not have much experience in any other features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a database I can find almost anything I need instead of using multiple platforms to locate things.
Trusting Canto with our Photos!
What do you like best about the product?
Using Canto to house, categorize, and organize our huge photo library is just the start... as a designer, what I like best about Canto is the ability to use "Canto Connect" in my Adobe products. I can seamlessly take images directly from my Canto window in Adobe Illustrator and Indesign and place (and link) them. It's amazing. It's intuitive and easy. I use it almost daily. Implementing additions to our database is also easy and seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
There has only been one instance I've had difficulty and that was signing onto the Canto Connector. But that was in the very beginning and it was probably more to do with our companies credentials and my email address. But the great thing about it was that my lead was able to get in touch with our Canto rep and resolve the situation almost immediately. I was very impressed with the Customer Service and quick care.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto is helping to organize our thousands of images, logos, icons, etc. We have so many and Canto makes it easy to find and connect those things with our designs.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the album sharing, folder organizing and deletion after 30 days options.
What do you dislike about the product?
that little orange help chat button on the bottom right. Its SO annoying! I need to click on the bottom right to version over files "save as new" and that little orange button stays in the way! 0/10

Canto is an easy to use, powerful DAM
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use is the most helpful aspect of Canto. The interface is easy to navigate, and options are easy to find and use. Finding files I need, creating groups and folders, and assigning files to them is very simple. Having custom upload links directly to certain folders is also convenient for me and my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really the only part of Canto that I find annoying is the persistent pop-up menu that appears whenever I hover over a file and displays the file's attributes. Perhaps there is a way to turn this off, but I haven't found it yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hosting and organizing thousands and thousands of files, and giving different types of users different access to them.
Canto so far has been very user friendly for consumers
What do you like best about the product?
The tree organization and ability to key in meta data info. Implementation has been great for our users, and customer support was very helpful with importing users and doing a town hall meeting for our franchisees.
What do you dislike about the product?
Back-end navigation isn't as intuitive as I hoped.

Providing digital asset access to 100+ franchisees for our company.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is intuitive and easy to use. The functionality is exactly what it needs to be...simple and not overly complicated. Canto has been the ideal solution for our firm.

The functionality of the folder versus the album took some getting used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto is a central location for all of our digital and brand assets. It allows team members who are not designers to access and easily find the collateral our marketing team creates.
Easy to Use and Great for Keeping Our Team Organized
What do you like best about the product?
Canto is super easy to use and makes it simple to keep all our photos, videos, and graphics in one place. The search and filter tools are really helpful, and I love how we can tag things and create Smart Albums to keep everything organized. The portals are a nice touch too—we can easily share assets with journalists without sending a bunch of emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bulk editing metadata can be a bit clunky. Analytics are a bit basic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing our assets into one place! Saving many hours searching different drives to locate an asset.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how through canto we are able to reach our customers with portals and oodles of product information, promos, and product images, as well as working within our systems and coordination with the B2B part of our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont think I can speak to the limitations, I'm not that technical. I'd say loading information can sometimes be a challenge.

The thoroughness of onboarding is amazing. I feel very confident that my team is being fully briefed on everything Canto has to offer and that support will be there whenever we need it.

Our sales rep was a little difficult to get ahold of.

We are an agency that handles 15 internal brands and we just so many business assets
Exceptional DAM with Seamless Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Canto as our digital asset management system, and it has been a huge upgrade for how we organize, manage, and share marketing and sales assets — both internally and with external partners. Compared to our previous platform (Brandfolder), Canto has been significantly better in terms of cost, functionality, and overall customer experience. The initial setup process was thorough, well-guided, and easy to follow, which made onboarding smooth. I’ve already recommended Canto to outside partners and would absolutely continue to do so!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's quite a few tools I don't use, perhaps explaining how they can benefit my work would improve how often I use them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Canto to organize and share marketing and sales assets easily. It simplifies finding assets with AI search and tagging, and I love creating media kits quickly. The clean interface, customer support, and integrations enhance the overall experience.
