    Education Management

The right platform for us at the right price

What do you like best about the product?
Canto is affordable, flexible, and has a great customer support team that's always available to answer questions and consult on our setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can feel outdated at times. It's very efficient but not exactly fun to use like some competing platforms seem to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have tons of assets across many different categories and sizes, ranging from long videos to brochures, to iconography. Canto helps us ensure that the right people can find the assets they need when they need them in a way that we haven't been able to ensure before.

Good DAM Solution

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use both for administrators and users. We've struggled with digital image indexing and sharing. Canto has served as a good solution/
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful to have more levels of selective sharing of images, embargoing images, and those types of controls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a lot of difficulty identifying and sharing images within our institution. Canto has made that very easy. The ability to make collections and easily share them via email has been a huge help to our operation.

What do you dislike about the product?
Downloading and accessing/editing asset properties takes too many clicks.

A searchable and easy to use DAM for the whole team.

Canto is a great tool to add to your stack

What do you like best about the product?
Canto has a lot of features and is super easy to use. I love the private portals that we can send to our various groups wether they be distributors or 3rd party marketing resources. It is easy to make assets easily searchable within Canto.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is an expensive tool and in order to utilize some of its other capabilities you have to dish out more funds. Auto syndication to other platforms should be included. Also would appreciate more connectors or apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto is solving the issue of providing customers/vendors with the most recent imagery and assets available to them. Before we had a home grown asset manager that did not get updated because of its difficulty to update.

What do you like best about the product?
Canto makes the assets we work so hard to get much more useful to our entire organization. Everything is organized and tagged and all in one place. We can easily find photos and videos that we need or that are requested.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canto is more expensive than some other solutions, but it's worth every penny to our team. Saves time and resources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto creates a central repository that makes our thousands of photo and video assets searchable and available to all the team that need them. It keeps assets from being stuck on people's computers or in their personal drives where they can never be found and used.

Great photo organization experience

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to sort my photos and be able to search by various tags. It's amazing how smart its features are. For example, if I wanted to find a photo of a dog, I can search "dog," and it will show me every photo in my library of dogs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it glitches a little when opening albums. It will take me back to the main folder or load photos from a different folder, then quickly reload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto allows me to keep all of our photos in one place and have the whole team access them with ease.

What do you like best about the product?
Canto is a useful photo (+ video) database to store our churches archive of content. It's simple to categorize and use efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does get bogged and can be very slow at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It holds our entire photo database and archives the content in a way we can access and recover what we need, when we need it.

Relieving the headaches of a growing business

What do you like best about the product?
The search features, the portals, and the shareable links. I really love that I can add additional items to an existing link, I can change the contents or even set the link to expire. The customer support has been outstanding, and it was incredibly easy to implement. I use the links and portals every single day and integrating the Canto system into our workflow has been a dream. Our whole team is thrilled with Canto.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little tricky trying to remember how to get all the way back to the previously created links, it takes some digging around before I remember to go to my account, then settings, then previously created links.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had an incredibly outdated server that we all had to VPN into in order to access our documents and photos. No one in our organization knew where anything was and we had no way to search for items with searching the entire server which took literal hours. The most unexpected way that Canto is benefiting our team is through the portals. We are utilizing portals as our best marketing effort for clients. We have a portal that is only designated for architects, portals for generic schools and city officials, and then customer-specific portals that house all of their relevant information and assets/

What do you like best about the product?
Canto is easy to upload your assets into, share with your team, and organize your files. Their AI search is next level compared to other platforms we've looked into and we love the ability to customize sharable pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
The folder structure can be a little confusing but you don't really need to use it post uploading.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously used google drive and google photos and it could take our team hours sometimes to find the assets they needed. Canto is able to save us a lot of time.

What do you like best about the product?
We've tried a variety of different DAM software over the years, but nothing has come close to the ease of use and functionality that Canto provides. We were able to set up an evergreen library our clients can access at anytime with just a few clicks. We also have started using the integrations with Zapier and Canva to help our team be even more efficient saving us a significant amount of time of downloading phtos from one platform and then uploading them to another.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish it was less exepensive, but i guess you get what you pay for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just makes it so much easier for clients to access their content. It's greatly limited the number of calls and emails we get from clients requesting photos or videos.
