Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Canto has been a really wonderful addition to our team and the ease of use has made the implementation simple. It's a great organization tool and helps us find images and videos quickly. The customer service and implementation team also helped guide us through everything very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
No problems thus far using the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Image and video management, image tagging, and file sharing
Our Experience (so far) with Canto
What do you like best about the product?
Canto has allowed us to quickly do away with a mess of shared network drives over which we had very little control regarding access or what was added or deleted. Now everything is in Canto, which is searchable and also filterable using fields that we created and defined. Loving the document control where I can see a history of updates and go back to earlier revs. We've also taken advantage of the Portals tool to create a series of document collections based on our main product lines and the industries we serve. Finally, we have built a customer facing material database (we are a plastics manufacturer/distributor) and document technical library that pull relevant documents directly from Canto, via the Canto API, and display them on websites built on the HubSpot CMS. No more maintaining a separate docs repository for those tools. Very happy with the product and the support team has been very responsive and helpful when we've needed API support.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have a big library and it has been a challenge to find some assets via the search tool, but the search itself is very configurable and with some tweaking it works fine. I think the portals could be a little more configurable, visually, and I find the editing tools there a little quirky, but that's really all I can think of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had documents all over the place and now everything is in one place, searchable, with just a few people empowered to keep the library up to date. We have really taken advantage of the API to also display the documents in our Canto library on the web.
Great way to store and organize large photo and video content!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to organize and share select content with outside partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to list. I like the features available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to manage all of our digital content in one place.
User friendly DAM that leverages AI technology
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to leverage AI technology to add helpful metadata to our files. We especially like the facial recognition feature and find it to be very accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is a bit dated, although it is pretty easy to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to organize and index our digitial assets so that we can spend less time hunting for assets.
Great Media Library Management

What do you dislike about the product?
Users can't share collections between Portals when users are assigned to a Portal
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing marketing teams on the same page on media asset availability and latest content to use on campaigns.

What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like that there isnt any easy way to find out what has been uploaded and by who. Its also very expensive and the new features are additional costs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto allows staff from all over the world to upload and access visual assets. It allows us to easily organize and tag all of our assets so they are easy to find.
Asset Management
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to tag and grant access to team and limited access to customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes files feel too buried, although that might be a user issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing digital assets across teams and partners.
Love Canto!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the portals and the upload links feature. We recently launched Canto in our school and it has worked well so far with the ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the website could use better step by step instruction and guides. I wish that consumer users could upload and create their own content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
makes it easier to distribute assets and obtain them using the upload links and portals. It is easier to find content
Safe and Reliable Tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's accessible at my work place, which is important because as a medical institution, we have lots of firewalls. This is a friendly tool to use with the in-house team and external vendors. It also feels safe and easy to implement/start using it. It has multiple features other sites don't offer.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's easy to use for most people, but some might still struggle finding some tools, like where to delete images, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the accessibility issues. No more firewall problems! I also like to get notifications about changes, dupes, etc.
Its what every Social Media Manager is missing...
What do you like best about the product?
If you are a social media manager you have to use this platform. It out competes all other data management competitors on the market. I've been able to leverage Image Relay to create a process for sourcing user generated content that makes it efficient enough to publish 365 days out of the year.
In the last 2.5 years our brands organic social media has been able to outperform much larger outdoor industry competitors because it minimizes the time it takes to acquire content. It's as simple as sending a link, communicating your objective and executing your plan.

What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't an affordable price point offering for smaller buisnesses and independent contractors to buy in at. If you had a larger sample size of social media managers like myself using the platform, i'm confident your buisness would pick up, and your platform would grow. Dropbox, WeTransfer, Google Drive, and all other comparable services make it extremely challenging to aquire content. It's a massive hurtle for someone in my position.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Image Realy allows me to instantly communicate my content aquisition goals, and immediately recieve the content . It's difficult for professional photographers, videographers, or everyday people to send you what they've captured. Whether it's on their phone or on their desktop, Image Relay has changed the game.
The upload link feature is critical. I can easily walk someone through the process and while I'm on the phone talking to them, I can explain the process, and what the content populate in an organized folder. Everytime I walk someone through my process they comment on how easy it is. I struggled with aquiring content through Dropbox or Google Drive before I learned how to use the feature.
