Great implementation and training
What do you like best about the product?
Their support and information were great. The implementation and migration of data from our previous DAM went smoothly for the entire team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to save individual assets to a portal instead of just albums or folders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All assets in one place, ability to find assets easily, set up portals for internal use and for clients
Excellent DAM Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Incredibly easy and intuitive to upload and organize assets. Searching for assets and files is a breeze and saves me so much time each day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Moving files around after uploading them can be a bit cumbersome since you cannot drag and drop to organize them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Image Relay is a terrific DAM platform. As a designer, this tool is invaluable and effectively organizes all our branded assets and files.
Best DAM out there
What do you like best about the product?
Image Relay allows us to store and select our images easily. We launched a new website and had hundreds of assets to be added to our new site. We stored them all in Image Relay and implemented the WordPress connector, allowing us to select our images and upload them to the WP Media Library easily. The implementation team was incredibly helpful, responsive and they truly went above and beyond to help us work through the WP connection. The team was wonderful to work with!
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to white label our share links and embed links so they don't include "image relay" in the URL would be nice. Their wordpress connection was not out of the box because we use custom post types, but the issue was resolved quickly with the implementation team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Image storing, organizing, accessing, sharing assets internally and externally, uploading assets to website. Image Relay allows our team to operate much more effectively on a day to day basis.
From the on-boarding to the implementation and further usage, Canto has been a dream for my campus.
What do you like best about the product?
I think the ability to fully customize our user experience is extremely beneficial in carrying our brand identity forward, as well as the ability to store more than just photography files on the asset manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there are some minor design complaints I have that make my job slightly more difficult, but I am never "unable" to complete a task that I'm wanting to work on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto solves the issue of housing every photo from our university in one place, while being able to organize and "gate" certain assets in various libraries. We often share our assets to the public, but we are able to keep an internal library for usage prior to releasing it to the masses.

Ease of use and not having to use a password

Nothing, really not a thing, works great

What do you like best about the product?
Great digital asset management! Plenty of integrations and very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Add a feature so we can use canto-hosted images as the "src" of the image.

Organizing creative assets and sharing it with external agencies

I like best about Canto is photo tagging and sharing with a link.

I think Canto should allow more customization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiently managing media assets: Canto allows users to easily organize, store, and manage their media assets in one central location. This can save users time and effort, as they no longer need to search for files across different locations.
Assets are easy to organize, access, and share
What do you like best about the product?
There are many things I love about Canto. I can have all my digital assets in one place, easily accessible, shareable, and organized in the way I prefer.
I like that I can create portals to consolidate specific pieces of assets to various teams; they don't need to see everything, just the stuff specific to them. It's super helpful when working with external partners who need branded assets. I can throw those items into their portal, and they're good to go.
The facial recognition on pictures has been great for photos from company events. My organization is entirely remote, so that allows me to find who is in what image without having met them before in person.
The plugins with PPT and adobe tools are the best. I love being able to hook up to canto without having to download any assets to my computer.
My account manager and the support team at Canto are the best. They are highly responsive and provide the information that I need. They take my suggestions and feedback to heart, and I appreciate that.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are some UI/UX things that can be buggy. Most are resolved with a refresh of the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing, accessing, and sharing brand assets all in one place. Canto solves this. There's one place to find these assets rather than five different locations that need to be managed. Easy to keep people on-brand and consistent with up-to-date branded assets.

What do you like best about the product?
Helpful implementation crew, lots of great tutorials/information. Recently they started having video series that you can attend or get in your inbox that help you better understand all the cool things Canto can do.

What do you dislike about the product?
No downside other than the fact that I still have not used all the great bells and whistles that it offers! My only disappointment is that some OTHER companies charge for you to use Canto's integrations. (Hootsuite) Not Canto's fault, though!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helped us organize all of our items, suggested ways to tag and label, it is also great for branding purposes. It is very easy to send links to other people for them to download, it is also easy for uploading - when we pay a photographer for photos, we ask them to directly upload to a link. It is SO Much easier to get marketing photos now, because the upload link work great for phones and computer uploads.

What do you like best about the product?
Canto offers a great platform to store our company's digital assets. It's easy to use across our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canto could be slightly easier on the eyes when it comes to the overall design on the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto has taken over our need for a digital asset management platform - we recently migrated over from WIDEN, and Canto has been an extremely suitable replacement.
