Canto makes asset management so much easier!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to set up. So much easier to track assets, manage versions and share information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the reporting a little cumbersome. I wish I could set up monthly reports that ran automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
version control, avoid network speed/size restrictions, and creates a self-help environment so I don't have to find things for people constantly.
Better than expected.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. The system moves quick and can be figured out with little background experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some areas arn't as intuitive, like editing setting for external links not being in the link section (how things show up for a user, that is). Also, I wish there was an easier way to "present" sections in an album. Curator view is a start but figuring out how to use took a moment and only works if the viewer is in curator mode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asset finding and gathering.

What do you like best about the product?
The portals features which is by far the most helpful feature at least to our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost maybe to high for smaller companies.

We built a whole online service platform using Canto. It saved us a ton of time on setup.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use and I can search easily for specific things.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of was particularly unpleasant.

Searching and finding things has become much easier.
Canto has been a great help with remote work.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Canto Upload feature and its simplicity in sharing files. Search tools and filters are really helpful as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Folder/Album does not feel intuitive to me. I would be fine with just having folders and files. I also wish there were an easier way to move and drag files between these. Maybe a right-click option for easier fiel handling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Adobe plugins, though it, is not as fast as working with files already in a local hard drive.
Canto is an invaluable tool that our marketing team uses on a daily basis.
What do you like best about the product?
Canto's interface is simple and easy to use, and it helps our team keep thousands of images for multiple clients organized and easy to locate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost may be a bit pricy for smaller businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto is helping us address the need to keep our digital assets organized and secure. We do not have a large team, or any administrative staff, so the fact that it makes uploading and organizing image and video files quick and easy saves us time and money.
Naming Convention
What do you like best about the product?
I'm able to pull photos from Photoshop, and Illustrator quickly with the Canto Connector
What do you dislike about the product?
When searching, if don't have the naming convention perfect you can't find things, For example, if the file name is in all caps and the search is lowercase or initial cap, you can't find the file and visa versa
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None that I know of
Best DAM system
What do you like best about the product?
Canto is easy to search, easy to load assets to, and it makes sharing files simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier for Admins to edit some of the licensing and usage fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's so much easier to track and manage our materials and assets. It's also far more user-friendly than the other systems we've used.

What do you like best about the product?
Metadata tagging. I like that I have complete control over what SEO terms both the client and internally we can use to find a specific project or asset. I also love the portal capabilities and how we can customize how each portal will look for each client.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far the only things that's happened with using Canto that I wish was addressed, was I wish there was a way to go to the activity panel and select what user(s) I want to review. Since we have a lot of power seats and external users in Canto, I wish I could see a report on what users were doing inside the portal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest would have to be that we now have an easy-to-use hosting site for our clients to access all the projects, campaigns and individual assets we've created for them over the years
Game changer for our company
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to put in a lot of information in batch uploads so that all assets are easy to find. Also being able to make multiple portals for our retail partners who require different assets is a game changer!
What do you dislike about the product?
The main library isnt aesthetically pleasing and sometimes when you crop and download it distorts the image.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main issue was keeping our assets as organized as possible and making it easy for anyone on our team to find what they are looking for in an efficientt manner.
