Canto has been a great platform for our company to build out our DAM

What do you like best about the product?
The many ways you can use the software. Not only do we use it as a DAM... but it's also great for keeping track of file version numbers for ads and catalogs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Price of course. In this economy, who isn't going to complain about price? I do think it's worth it though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a small Marketing team... but we are spread out nationwide. Canto allows us to send each other files and share assets, create collections, track version numbers, and so much more.

What do you like best about the product?
The Image Relay platform is continually being upgraded to provide better services while maintaining ease of use. Customer service is excellent, and they are a mission-driven B Corp.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't a thing that I dislike about Image Relay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Image Relay is making it easy to share our digital assets internally and externally, helping us keep everything organized, searchable, and up to date!

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it has many features to make it usable for your clients. The portals have been the most useful. I like that you can pick specific things and send them to people.

The customization of the portals are nice, especially the landing pages. It's great you can change the colors and the backgrounds and logos.

I like the style guide section, it is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't quite understand why there are folders AND albums. Not sure that's necessary, but there's probably a reason for that. It's not the most intuitive program. I would rather use Asana for the workflow instead of the one provided. It's not linked to Asana yet.

I don't link how the links that are shared can't take the person back to their main library and you can't comment on anything in the link.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to copy and paste folder structures now is super nice. That's been a huge time saver. Being able to find our assets easier is a huge help. The customization of all the different types of pages is very useful so that the other employees don't get overwhelmed and confused.

What do you like best about the product?
Can handle every type of file thrown at it with many, many features for organizing, searching, editing, and sharing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very unintuitive user interface with big, blocky icons. With so many functions, there are way too many places to look for links/actions/settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote worker that needs a way to organize and share large multimedia projects and finished files. Canto allows me to share files larger than Sharepoint can handle while also allowing for plugins to Adobe products that give me the capability to link to content directly from Canto via weblinks.

What do you like best about the product?
The software is user-friendly and customizable. We have used Canto for several years in my department, and I have seen other teams within my company use it with great success.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish the Workspace feature was more customizable than it currently is and that we could host our photo research there. In addition, we would like to see color coding become available in some areas of Canto.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a place to house all of PDFs and our extensive image and video asset collection. We also use Canto as a temporary space for delivering hi-res files and use the collection links in our customer service and marketing teams.

What do you like best about the product?
Our team uses Canto to store and organize our photos, branding, and internal image assets. Images in our library are tagged and categorized, and facial recognition is used to identify the people in our photos. This type of image organization has made it easier for colleagues to view, share, and search for photos and assets within our image collections.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes quite a bit of time to organize things, adding information to images, and making the assets information-rich. I have also gotten error messages when uploading images more than once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Canto we had all of our images in several different locations; now, we can promote collaboration by keeping assets in a centrally managed system. We are staying connected with external audiences and donors by using the portals to share images and branded assets after receptions and award events. Canto benefits our organization by simplifying and making our ability to share image resources collaborative.

Easy to Manage DAM Solution

What do you like best about the product?
Canto provides an easy-to-use platform to manage assets for our large group of users. The site is easy to navigate, simple for new users to find content, and an easy platform for our Content Managers to load content.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish there was an easier method to manage translated versions of content in groupings, and had a more customizable interface that we could design our own look and feel with HTML templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to quickly upload content into an easily navigable solution for thousands of end-users, who don't require extensive training to find assets.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to search with ease through my pictures to find what I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's so customizable! It takes more time and a higher learning curve to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It would take me hours to look through our photo bank on sharepoint to find what I'm looking for. Now that I can search with tags and AI its so much faster.
