Not as intuitive interface or user-friendly as I'd like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are guiding us through the sync process and giving feedback on our duplicates issue.

Great System for Organizing, Storing, and Sharing

What do you like best about the product?
Canto is a searchable storage solution for creatives, archived files, and videos that are all in one place. Easy to use and search, and a great option for sharing larger files with outside firms. It also allows for an easy way to receive files from outside contributors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish the cataloging system was a bit more customizable. The directory can be a little bit of a pain point when trying to search for something without typing a keyword - but that's usually the ultimate fix!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team works remotely and having one place for all of us to upload our photos, videos and archived content has streamlined our workflow and allowed us to work more efficiently internally, and with outside partners.

What do you like best about the product?
Previously we had our images scattered around, which made finding photos for designing appeals, etc., difficult. My team loves that there are multiple ways to keep your assets organized! Canto has set metadata fields you can use, but you can also customize your account and create your own metadata fields. Our favorite has to be the facial recognition feature!
What do you dislike about the product?
With Canto, the cost does depend on the number of power users and add-ons. Power users are admin-level users. It would be great to have more than three without additional charge, but it's understandable, considering how valuable the program is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto is solving our image storage problem. Previously we had our images on multiple platforms, and no straightforward way to collect more images from our company's programs. Now we're able to organize and easily find all our images.

What do you like best about the product?
The customization is great. We can set it up however we need it, and update as we go along.
What do you dislike about the product?
The login and request access is difficult when dealing with 100's of consumers. This area needs improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have employees and retailers from around the country that can't access our internal image server.

Essential Tool For Creative Collaboration

What do you like best about the product?
Canto allows me to collaborate effortlessly with my colleagues. As an in-house production team of one, I get to share out my photo and video assets with the marketing team, sales team, and company at large without hassle or duplicated steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I still need to use a different application for video review. I do know that this is something the Canto team is working on improving in future rollouts of their software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed one place to both work through approvals/edits on my assets and also host my finalized deliverables. Canto allows for my colleagues to easily search through my creative work using a variety of methods (filters, keywords, tags, etc).

What do you like best about the product?
The storage aspect of Canto has helped our marketing department.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had some integration issues, but we are getting them worked out now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canto provides a shared place for the entire department to store and tag photos easily. The search function is solid and reliable. We also like the integration with Hootsuite.

What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to share specific photos with people with links, and the integration into Canva has been really helpful as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tagging photos can be tedious, and sometimes a tag is missed, or when someone is searching for a photo they are using a different keyword that what is listed. It would be great if Canto could recognize photo elements automatically and allow search through that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of having my team have to sift through our photo library for a client, I can let them find what they need on their own. Canto also houses our logo library, which is great because we can send clients there instead of having to sort through hundreds of logos ourselves.

What do you like best about the product?
Canto helps us keep all of our files in a searchable, taggable place. The file structure is great if you know exactly what you're looking for, while the tagging and searchability makes it perfect for when you're on the hunt for something but you don't know where it might live. It also helps pull all images of a certain thing that may live in multiple folders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Uploading can take time (especially if you're doing facial tagging). If you bulk upload more than 100 files or so you're likely to have a number of images that fail to upload, so you have to batch it. Manual tagging takes time, but is important to searchabilit. Portal and Style Guide development aren't as intuitive as I'd like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple properties and multiple teams who all need to access various images. This allows us to keep all of our images in one place and makes it so that various teams can easily find what they're looking for without having to know our exact file structure. We also have some teams who only need access to certain folders. The portal system allows us to easily delegate them access to just the files that they need.

What do you like best about the product?
The filtering capabilities, and the quick search results.

I don't like how many steps it takes to download an image. And that a download link is emailed for multiple images

Canto is allowing me to do a quick search for videos and photography based on specific criteria

What do you like best about the product?
the ability to tag and add keywords to images has made it really easy to find graphics for all kinds of projects. face recognition is a really nice bonus!
What do you dislike about the product?
the integration with google drive has been a little finicky for us so sometimes we get dupe folders uploaded, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
canto has made our extensive image library accessible to team members across the org so they are not reliant on institutional memory, or the marketing team, to track down specific pictures
