Effective DAM for large company bridging the gap between creative execution and final storage point

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing and very beneficial for end-users. One of the best on the market for The tracking of assets is a huge plus and share links make large files easy to traffic. The new integrations are promising yet we have not fully utilized them yet. The ability to create templates for Admin users will greatly benefit our small, in-house design team. The IR team is amazing - their librarians are super knowledgable and their other team members are timely with communication and friendly. They also invest in their product and have scaled their offerings significantly over the years - it's a lot more than just a DAM.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be clunky at times. Still working out kinks in new integrations but am hopeful of bug fixes. Admin seat totals are limiting for large organizations and workarounds like Upload Links create discrepancies in the file structure. Like any DAM, proper setup and training on the front end are crucial to the success of the library as it can be difficult to adjust after. Collections could be more beneficial if included similar folder structures to the actual library. Also additional tracking would give this DAM super-human strength. If plan to store a bunch of B-roll or raw video footage, expect to often reach your monthly bandwidth max.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Large file sharing. Packaging up of final files on a large campaign for c-suite review gives our presentations a high-end feel. Easy access to brand assets for a company of over 34,000 employees. Tracking on purchased photography.

What do you like best about the product?
Image Relay has a user-friendly interface and robust feature set. The platform makes it easy to organize, share and distribute visual assets efficiently. Furthermore, the customer support provided by Image Relay is exceptional, with prompt and responsive assistance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, Image Relay is a strong digital asset managment tool, there is always room for growth and refinement in certain areas to better meet the needs of users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Image Relay efficiently solves the challenge of asset organization and seamless sharing. Moreover, its Product Information Management (PIM) feature greatly simplifies the organization of our product data and imagery, facilitating swift distribution to retailers.

What do you like best about the product?
We are a small, but growing company. We don't have the luxury of an advertising and marketing department. We need to be able to quickly get what we need with the confidence that we've grabbed the right information in the right format for the intended audience. Always on the fly, Image Relay gives us that boost - the extra set of hands - by keeping our world powerfully organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Image Relay keeps evolving and so my gripes keep becoming obsolete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scattered. Poor quality. Competing information. Reinventing the wheel constantly. Image Relay has centralized all things about our products in one place - the definitive source. No more searching, no more hectic make-shift because you had to meet a deadline and couldn't lay your hands on what you needed - click, click and done. Your vendor/partner/customer gets exactly what they need in a beautifully professional package. And you get to move on to the next fire knowing you've slam-dunked at least that one problem.

What do you like best about the product?
Creating order from chaos. Peace of mind that our assets are stored safely, protected from unwanted editing and infinitely sharable with our partners. All the information is in one safe place that is easily accessible by whoever we determine needs it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not taken the time to fully understand the various user roles and permissions. As we invite a designer to access the library, I am not always sure which permissions they need. I might have said that the help resources are underdeveloped, but the in-person/online access to help is amazing. If the online help doesn't answer my questions, my IR rep does!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Dropbox or Google Drive for our digital assets has created a vulnerability that has wasted time and money. Files get moved, altered or lost in a way that leaves our people scrambling. We don't have the resources to dedicate to in-house management and protection of these assets. As a successful business, we need to be able to share and control key assets like our logos and product images. Image Relay does this for us and presents an organized, immensely useful face to our customers and vendor partners. It reflects well on us that we are not willing to waste their time with attachments, and other problematic documents and/or confusing information management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Image Relay has allowed our lean team to function efficiently with our marketing partners and vendors. Having a centralized, protected resource for all things related to our products has ended the countless mistakes of going just a little too fast with just a little too much chaos.

What do you like best about the product?
Canto is very easy to use and is a great resource for our company and the partners we work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the user interface isn't as intuitive as I'd like it to be. But, I can always figure it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Canto to organize all of our digital assets and make them easily available to our partner markets around the world. This simplifies the process for our global partners to get the assets they need quickly.

Real Connection - Selling Homes

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for finding and tagging photos. Prior to Canto our company had all of our photos of various homes we had built stored in file folders on our servers. I had to comb through hundreds of photos. Canto helped created a quick database that we could control ourselves, tagging, searching, and labeling photos quickly and easily. Big timesaver for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I create photo links to send to clients I would like for them to easily scroll and browse photos similar to Google Photos. Google photo album links are a notch above Canto. Also, Google can easily edit and enhance photos and allows me to add verbiage to the share link. If you would like to see an example feel free to email me, and I can send you a sample Google Photo album link.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our goal is to paint the picture for the client. To provide them with a real connection to our homes. Canto allows me to easily do this by creating personal share links of photos that are meaningful for my clients. I love that it is web-based and has all of the various features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great service for anyone that needs that third-party help managing photo database, and creating new ways to easily connect with clients.

It's awesome and easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
We used Canto as a trial Digital Asset Management system for a few months. It was really easy to use and user-friendly. I used it in collaboration with our video and social media team to streamline the work of our deliveries within the organization. Once the video or photographers would upload the assets, we would immediately have them available for us to use as design elements for our work. The keyword and tags were especially useful when we were trying to find specific assets for certain jobs. I also loved the suggestions on the tagging as that can become tedious when entering data. I especially liked the version control as that is something all designers struggle with when working with clients. The link-sharing was great to share with our news team and other clients as we prepared assets for certain projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not so much about the product itself. We only had issues when our servers would go down due to internet outages or IT issues. Also sometimes the internal communication was not the best so the meta-tagging lagged on our end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing files within the internal team with our news and socials team as well as with some clients so they would be able to select assets to use for their specific projects. This was a wonderful thing because that way we were able to see and assess the amount of assets we had at our disposal for their projects.

Has lots of minor issues that add up over time and make it not very efficient

nice to upload content directly from your phone, transferring content to agencies and coworkers, searching for content
