Image Relay - one-stop solution for all Digital Asset Management needs
What do you like best about the product?
Image Relay is easy to learn, easy to use and backs up it's premier digital asset management system with excellent customer training and service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. All phases of introduction, training and use have gone smoothly, with very positive feedback from our many staff members who have begun to use it daily to easily store, access, search and share our digital assets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to Image Relay, our digital assets were stored on an internal server. Access to photos and digitized documents was cumbersome, and searching and sharing files was time-consuming. When working remotely, staff had to be connected to our internal server via a VPN connection before they could access, view and share files. Now, staff can manage our digital assets from anywhere with a simple Internet connection - no VPN connection is needed. Image Relay's online interface is fast, easy to use and allows sharing of files in a matter of seconds rather than many minutes. This has been a real timesaver for our staff.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Allow plenty of lead time to organize your digital assets to Image Relay and expect some prep time in uploading all of your files. If you have large amounts of files - multiple terabytes, the initial bulk upload process can take quite a bit of time. Make sure you have direct access/connection to your current server where the files are stored. We initially attempted to do the massive upload from a remote computer with VPN access to our main server and found the upload speed to be insufficient. Uploading at HQ when directly connected via ethernet cable to our organization's server proved to be much more efficient. Note that Image Relay does not do uploads for its clients so does not accept files to upload from external storage devices. All bulk uploads of large amounts of data are done via an SFTP portal that Image Relay assigns/sets up for its clients. Once you are up and running, uploads of new files can easily be processed through the online Image Relay interface - quick and easy to upload hundreds of files at a time.

Storage capacity and image categorization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think I dislike anything, but it could be improved in the term of searches by concept or integration with more languages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of required images with authorization, the benefits are the security of using the image and a joint library.

A Simple & Efficient DAM for Resort /Hospitality Businesses
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity & Visual Nature of IR. The collection aspect. Providing outside clients and media an easy collection of images for use. We also use it highly effectively with our Agency of Record for sharing of assets after they are completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Aesthetically it could be nicer for external guests. At our level the branded collection group is not available and seems like that wouldn't be much to throw into the fee for our current subscription for outside clients to make presentation a little nicer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to drop services such as DropBox and have moved all of our digital, video, and logos to this platform. The integration with Photoshop and Adobe products is very cool but for us it was too expensive. As we grow that might be an area we do take advantage of in the future.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend using Image Relay. I am in it every day utilizing it as our DAM System. I came from a large organization to a smaller one but it is still highly effective for my team and myself.
Great tool for any company

The accessibility to the information (images, videos, pdfs). It allows you to have your folders organized and you can quickly find what you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it gets delayed when it's loading, but it depends on the folder and the number of elements you have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to find all the needed assets for the projects and presentations that I work on.
Exactly what you need to organize and share Marketing Assets!

Collections! Collections are a beautiful way to showcase images it allows user to quickly view and download.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to drag and drop into Adobe Indesign.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's so nice to have a centralized library that users can view, collaborate and share. Previously we had assets on servers, dropbox, onedrive, and was very hard to keep track
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Test it out, have them do a demo, you won't be disappointed.

Image Relay
What do you like best about the product?
The user experience in Image Relay is really smooth, we've been able to upload and download assets with ease. It's also easy to share links to assets to folks, even those outside of our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest pain point with Image Relay has been the migration- moving all assets over from Dropbox to Image Relay has been a significant undertaking that I wish could be streamlined/automatic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously worked in Dropbox, where we had been uploading/managing assets for the past five years. It became very cluttered and hard to find things, and was lacking metadata. The search bar wasn't much help.
Amazing
What do you like best about the product?
quick and effective and reliable. Easy to upload files.
What do you dislike about the product?
probably explaining everytime why I have to download a document, but at the same time I understand :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
so far no problems. love how quick I can upload files as well as downloading them.
The easiest and most organized way to share archives and have an online library.
What do you like best about the product?
It's super easy to upload documents already organised in folders, the previews make it fast to find what you are looking for and not having to download the archives to see them makes it more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that you have to create an account. It'd be great to have a shared url option for non Image Relay frequent users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing a common space with clients in real time instead adding documents or archives to an email. It's fast, well organized, pretty easy to upload, and has the preview option.
