Easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
Searching for files is far easier than using a server.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to work off of Canto with Adobe project files.

File organization.
Image Relay is a wonderful content collector for our team!

I love that we can store all of our finished assets on image relay so everyone can view them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the the heirarchy of folders in image relay. It can make it diffcult to find files depending on where another person stored them.

What do you like best about the product?
Using the Image Relay asset management software is a simple and delightful method. It has given me everything I need to give my buyers so that I know what I need to get their focus. Now that my concerns have been allayed, I can focus on preparing the campaign plans. In the past, sending the couple of photos in emails was a painstaking process due to the fact that my recipients needed to uncompress the files. Since I am using it for all of my day-to-to-day communication, I find that I am able to effectively multitask.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is working out really well, and I found no issues with it. Their customer support providers will still help us out if we have any problems. We're loyal to this product because it's a filled, and we are delighted to be the customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm completely confident in my ability to organize my campaigns, and I have absolutely no worries about misplaced data. Image Relay becomes good in purpose of preserving my past planning and planning my future ads is a piece of cake.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Among the most powerful features of our Image Relay function is that I can retain all of my files, even if I make edits to particular images.
Canto is the best DAM Solution
What do you like best about the product?
The Canto digital asset management system is hands down the best I've used. It is easy to navigate and is not overly complicated for any one no matter their level of interface. As a global company we share assets and collaborate daily on many different levels both internally and externally. Simply put, Canto has made my life easier. I would recommend for any organization of any size to try it out.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've been using Canto for well over a year now and literally not one thing comes to mind as far as a dislike. I have been impressed with the tips and tricks that Canto regularly offers but have never really had to utilize them. Other platforms used in the past have not been as user firendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Canto we are able to organize better and share assets globally. We've had other digital asset management systems that cannot compare to the ease of use and colloboration that Canto does. By having Canto, our organization has benefited tremendously in streamlining our workload and projects. We've dramatically decreased internal back and forth aross different teams thus have increased our marketing and communcations departments output. Custom portals have been great to use and was not even a factor at the time when assessing and selecting DAM services. As a larger sized company spread across the globe it can be challenging maintaining assets in different versions such as markets, locations, regions and languages as well as rights usages. With Canto these prior issues have easily been solved.
Great Platform, but the price has us searching for another solution.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of accessing and indexing photos, and photo size options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, the high price tag is about the only thing that prevents me from loving it and recommending it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with a large team who works with a lot of media, and an intranet isn't robust enough to store and index all of our photos and video, which is where Image Relay helps.

What do you like best about the product?
An image archive can be accessed through the web and Photo Relay allows to scan the archives with keyword and marks. It is also very easy to use the web interface, with elegant maritime menus, easy to read organization structure and broad fonts that give myself a pretty good sense of what I want to do without being individually sorted by anyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd want to be option to access all photos at once in a folder, if I can, I don't understand how to do something. I don't like something, but I aren't using the demo feature too much, either. I usually really want to record my pictures then sort them in some other script.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Image relay makes working with our photographers so much easier. We used to manually check the pages of PDF pages with thumbnail images, pick the selections and actually send us just a USB disk drive with both the images. Image Relay showing the reader and searching our images so much easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Image Relay is an excellent digital signage solution for organizing many assets with publicly accessible keywords if you are looking for an interesting way to arrange them. The able to construct a custom import connection to upload your files with words or Tags is quite beneficial and reduces user time.
Canto is almost too good to be true!
What do you like best about the product?
There are many things that I like best about Canto, but I will definitely say I love that our ability to store and access so much more data and information and be able to access it easier is a huge plus! I love the Canto has the ability to upload and view any type of file you may throw at it, CAD/DWG was a big surprise to me but super exciting! I like that Canto has fantastic security behind it and that our information is safe. I like that you are able to give permissions and restrict certain or specific files and information. I also love that you have the ability to enter in so many different tags for one document, file or photo. It makes it much easier to search for because we all know that different people will describe something a little different each time!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Canto was a little brighter when it came to the "smart tags" that it automatically gives when you upload a document or photo. I think there are alot more "common" words or descriptions that could be added to its vocabulary. It would be very helpful for the unexperienced uploader or the person who just isn't good at describing things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are essentially upgrading our current server and giving ourselves much more storage and capabilities. We are making files, docs and photos from all different departments available to everyone across the board. We are now able to easily access things that we couldn't before while out in the field, simply because this software is internet-based.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is not much else out there that will be any better or do any more for you. Its perks are endless and they stand behind their software!
Best DAM ever!
What do you like best about the product?
i can share a file just once onto our platform and never have to do it again. We've been able to save time but loading all of our files from internal servers, google drive and dropbox onto one location. No more having to dig in multiple locations to find or share assets
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform can be a little faster when moving/creating folders and albums. Currently jumps around when you create a new folder or album. One other issue I found is when needing to change or reset the password for a user. There's no easy way of doing it through the user section of the settings.

Time efficiency, file organization, sharing or providing access with portals to view and download assets

Canto - Best Decision of the Year
What do you like best about the product?
As a project manager, what I like most about Canto is the ability to search through metadata and quickly and easily find an asset I was looking for. I also like the ability to easily share assets, through email, dropbox, links, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the level of access we are paying for would allow more "power users" and more storage. But, we can always purchase more as the need arises.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As we all transitioned to a remote workforce, our server access was slow and unreliable. We needed a DAM that would be quick and intuitive for our whole team to use. Canto filled that need, allowing our team to find files quickly, control versions, send out via links, and even create portals and guides for our clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My recommendation would be to evaluate what would be the most seamless transition from your current system. We tested 4 DAMs, and Canto was the best in terms of matching up with our previously-identified and working use of our server, making the transition easier on our team.
So far, really liking Canto!

The ability to tag and search photos really easily!
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is a bit high for storage and admin users, we feel a little constrained in those departments based on our budget. Also, the time it takes to get the tool up and running is quite lofty.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross-department efficiency and accessibility into our best photos. Potential benefits will be replacing storing photos on creative cloud and be able to use this tool for multi-purpose.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Canto is great to work with! They were very accommodating and the training has been really great, its just taking a while so account for that, as well as resources dedicated to getting the tool up and running.
