Great product
What do you like best about the product?
Arcgis is a powerful that helps me enable to do different geospatial analysis for my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Arcgis price can be cheaper so other people can have access to the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I help my current job map water and sewer mains for our service areas in Los Angeles.

There are so many tools to meet so many needs.

There are so many tools! We would love to have more of these tools, but it is cost prohibitive.

Mapping for retail real estate. So many benefits.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple, easy to use software. Helps me to meet a multitude of requirements. The development in the software over the last 10 years of my usage has cemented Esri as the main contender for GIS products.
What do you dislike about the product?
Military analyst has been removed from generations since 10.1. The inability to easily strip basemapping data for offline mode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conduct dead ground studies, perform network analysis, enable real-time tracking and exposure for deployed assets, and analyze cell towers to geo-locate.

What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of custamizable settings and addons avaiable for download with the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application crashes more than expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping with telecom. The application is very useful in creating permits .

The application is useful for telecom design and MRE database management in a spatial way

Ability to arrange, store and maintain spatial data is quick and secure

Some complex operations are not possible on 'standard issue' laptops, causing crashes.

We are implementing ArcGIS to track invoicing and billing for field assets.

I enjoy the relative ease of use as well as the constant progression in technology.

With any new technology there are hiccups.

Applying GIS capabilites in the Oil and Energy sector to help out stakeholders make better and more effective decisions.
Use in Homeless Efforts
What do you like best about the product?
This product enable our county to consider needs and provide vital services. In collaboration with the Sherriff Department we can bring medical, mental health and substance use tretament to those in our frontier areas.

The ability to have real time data allows us the abilty to recov er indivduals from riverbeds due to flooding or other disasters.
ArcMap: A Quality Product
What do you like best about the product?
I like the capacity of ArcMap to create a story of Broadband in California
What do you dislike about the product?
Geocoding is not always as smooth as it should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am figuring out gaps in Broadband coverage and helping broadband providers realize where exactly their service is visa vis Census Blocks

I like how easy I can collect info, control the process of collection, analyze and share my results to my boses.

The lack of funcionality when you update. If not often but happens.

What do you like best about the product?
I the functions and the complete user experience with ArcMap and ArcCatalog. In addition, the new capabilitites with ArcMap with 3rd party applications and software such as google earth, tools and spatial analysis tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dislike would be the wait time for an update to resolve issues of an older version of ArcMap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems are travel response for public saftey and areas of high risk of vehicle crashes with spatial anlaysis tools.
