I like how consistent ESRI is from upgrading to upgrade. Great tools and amazing support

Switching between Arcmap, arcPro, and ArcGIS online can get a bit confusing

Map creation, data management, and analysis for water utilities

Really great options for whatever you're looking for! No matter what project I was working for there is a product to fit my needs.

Old Fashioned customer service with new technology
What do you like best about the product?
No matter what problems I have I have support to solve them.
The ability to pull in so many different formats of data and easily assumlate them in a map is beyond what other programs do.
The online training is as good as actually being in the classroom.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like is some of the operators that help is hard to understand. They all try very hard but my old ears has trouble with languages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Online we are abel to help our community by putting data on line and abile to make it easy for people to find information.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Most processes are very intuivive. Very dynamic
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the edit fuction are a bit convolouted. Would like to be able to edit a layer while it is definition queried.

What do you like best about the product?
As far as GIS software goes, nothing is more user friendly than products in the ArcGIS suite (pro, map, ect.). Also there are o many extensions that allow for more versatility in my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main problem I have is the price, it's easy for large crporations to afford enterprise licenses or individual licenses, but when some friend of mine are looking at getting it for projects like Civil Air Patrol, it is way to expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use ArcGIS to curate my data for another program called Signature Analyst which analyzes the spatial signature of geospatial item. No other software has the power to process my data that quickly and is able to keep the same level of consitancy. Also it is very easy to train new people on how to use ArcGIS for data prep.

Certain processes like loading imagery and exporting maps can be extremely time consuming

Empowering users to manage their own data

What do you like best about the product?
ArcGIS work stable even with large amount of data. Maps render fast. Lots of geospatial tools. Batch processes. The most efficient GIS package among all.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are rather weak layout options for exporting into Adobe and vector formats (transparent colors become not transparent, raster layer “rasterize” all layers below itself). There is no linkage (relations) automatic tool (nice curved lines between points, similar how Airports connections are visualized).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We create mApping materials and spatial analysis for all Greenpeace activities.
ArcGIS makes it possible to analyze and display information in an easy to undersatnd format.
What do you like best about the product?
Continuously improving and making complicated programs easier to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Use of software is not entirely intuitive. Have to be very familiar with tools available in ArcGIS Tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Development of Land Use Maps. Dispaly of capital improvement projects. Makes it easier for others to understand.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the usability of the platform with the new changes that have come out with 2.4 including the REST service publishing.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does take awhile to get used to the ribbon and the map activation.

Look at the platform it encompasases alot of different packages.
