best gis software for personal and industry use
What do you like best about the product?
wide industry applications, useful for mapping of all kinds of data. easy to use with great customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
unable to drag and drop shp files like qgis

solving vaccination rates for school projects and making maps and analyzing data for undisclosed customers

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to visualize and conduct geographicaly weighted regression and the compatibility with excel
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how expensive and clunky this software is compared to similar open access programs like QGIS. The apps themselves are uglier than those produced with newer software.

I utilize ARCGIS for conservation research examining habitat suitability.

The software has made analyzing and manipulating data easy and convenient. The product is used in multiple areas of municiple government.

I have no dislikes. The software has produced amazing outcomes.

Good Product, continually evolving, but still room for improvement

It can freeze at times and work can get lost randomly.

Sometimes it is slow and fails to responsed to my commands.

We work within water utilities and supplying quaility drinking water is our goal. ArcGIS helps us meet our community's needs while supplying data and analysis tools to support our most precious resources.

If you have questions, spatial data can open the doors to solutions for those questions.

What do you like best about the product?
That the platform is able to integrate with other software. Also thet it is the industry leader.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not always user friendly and can be buggy...and the ever so popular crashes. Although that has minimized over time.

Use it for water utility and hydro flow analysis.

I like the customizability of the software with the use of Python and R that allows for the building of niche geoprocessing and data management tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that certain data types like very large raster data sets significantly slow down ArcGIS programs and cause them to crash on occasion. I do wish that there was an automatic save function that would save every change made every 30 seconds or so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently locating active and inactive pipeline point data and finding those that need to be reviewed in order to only load point data that is both active and accurate.
