ESRI for County Government
What do you like best about the product?
With the product I don't see a better source for implementation of all the products and processes that we use. The customer service and community surrounding the product allows the world to be mapped.
What do you dislike about the product?
more personalized custmer service would be nice. I rep for an entier state seems slim.

Government and land record management
ARC GIS in Tribal Resource Management
What do you like best about the product?
ARCGIS has made it possible for Tribes to mage lands and resources using the most current tools at an affordable level. These tools have given us the ability to classify lands, vegetation cover, manage pre and post wildfires, restoration analytics, and parcel management. We use ARCGIS daily in management and policy decisions and are training employeess to better use the suite. ARC Pro is improving our speed and efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
ARC Map has some speed issues and also can have a lot of crashes depending on the task at hand. We had to seriously upgrade our hardware just to use it for some of our technicians.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are performing land classification, habitat suitability, defining roads, improving wildfire tasks, and managing land parcels.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
have good hardware.
Two years of using ESRI products for work plus two years in school experience.
What do you like best about the product?
ArcGIS Pro is the platform I like the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
Missing tools from older versions of ArcMap 10.x.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Parcel and lands management is getting better all the time, this makes policy makers decisions more sound.

What do you like best about the product?
That it exists! That we have this tool at all!

I truly cannot articulate a single thing that I dislike.

We are communicating with stakeholders, partners, donors, supporters, the public, and policymakers, to make positive changes in our world. ArcGIS gives me power to make a difference, and bring others along in a way that words never could.

Excellent Customer support
What do you like best about the product?
I like the customer support and multiple ways of solving problems

They change the name of the same tools in different product release and that is really frustrating

Ability to help shape the ways future generations will spatial enable their every day lives without being aware that they are.

Technology changes too fast to always be aware of all capabilites

Econnomic Development, Parks and Trails, Emergency Mapping and Planning. Ability to produce maps fast for public consumption.

Great product with lots of levels for users to implement

ArcGIS has a stagering suite if applications to cover any mapping need. I love the various options that I have to publish the data

It takes so long to learn the program and in many cases the workflows are not intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving timely business intelligence to internal customers that help them understand their customer's asset better and responds to customer needs quicker.

Customer service is top notch. Any question I have ever had have been answered very quickly.

As of now my biggest disappointment would be the lack of function in Pro and some of the tools that are not in it like they are in Arcmap

ESRI products help in every department in our organization in one way or another.
Size Matters
What do you like best about the product?
ESRI is by far the biggest GIS company and they have the best product. If you need help with ArcGIS the company will stand by there product.

the software will crash when you ask it to do to much.
