Useful visual tool
What do you like best about the product?
You can make great maps using public data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Loads slowly, crashes sometimes. That might be partially because I have an old computer. There's also quite a learning curve.

Functional diversity. Arc Gis allows for many different solutions to a problem. The scope of the program can help geologically challenging feats that might require many man hours

It can't handle large point clouds.

Cost savings by reducing cost per cubic yard.
ArcGIS is a necessity if you are in any industry that uses maps.

It’s very user-friendly and has endless capabilities.

It's not an easy transition from ArcGIS Desktop to ArcGIS Pro.

Site Selection for real estate. ArcGIS is imperative when performing site selection analysis and displaying real estate related data.

ESRI Arc Gis application and Mapping Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease in which I can pull maps and comps into one single executive summary report.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an ESRI administrator, managing my licenses and user stats can be quite confusing especially with them always changing the platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to get very nice detailed summaries of info in order to present to our clients in an attempt to gain feedback on loans we wish to connect with.

What do you like best about the product?
Indudablemente Esri, tiene una larga experiencia acumulada a lo largo de 40 años en el mercado, permitiéndole establecerse de forma sólida y dar soluciones a sus usuarios. Cabe destacar la amplitud de datos on line de que dispone ARCGIS online

Básicamente en este punto hay que referirse a la constante actualización del software que repercute en altos costos para los usuarios; en el caso del geoproceso , en ARCMap el usuario ve un poco limitada su funcionalidad en función del tipo de licencia que posea

Ha sido muy importante el uso de geodatabase para los datos geográficos de la organización a la cual pertenezco ya que en la geodatabase, la información espacial se encuentra en un marco de referencia espacial común (Feature Dataset), garantizando las relaciones topológicas. Además permitió, a través del dominio minimizar la posibilidad de introducción de datos erróneos o incongruentes y aplicar valores por defecto y dominios a los campos de la entidad en función del subtipo al que pertenecen, dandole valor a los datos utilizados, asegurando la calidad de los datos geométricos dentro del sistema geográfico implementado, de forma general.

Arcgis es una potente herramienta que permite a cualquier persona que maneje datos geográficos, publicar y compartir con todo el mundo sus mapas web y además crear aplicaciones de mapas interactivas online.

Has all the tools you need to just about everything in gis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Model builder can break easily with only a cryptic error message.

I work with gas service lines and the topology works well.

What do you like best about the product?
I am using this product since 2008 and this product is very user-friendly and provides high capability geospatial analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing such dislikes, who ever use this product they start to love this product, Esri platform provides a solution to everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I solved multiple industries problems like health, agriculture, defense, forestry, water resources and natural resources.
ARCGIS review
What do you like best about the product?
Visual capacity for maps is amazing and fascinating. We can create maps easily and easy to learn as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cant handle big data, gets too slow with that data. You have to work with python to diminish that downside. Also it s having problems competing with other data based startups in terms of mapping tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualizing any data regarding traffic related or not traffic related. It is easy to interpret numbers with using mapping, at least easy to present. Providing spatial analysis is an effective tool thanks to ARCGIS. IT certainly uses spatial and numerical anlaysis easier in terms of visualization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The problem is somehow product needs to increase its capacity to handle big data in different ways, some startups are moving forward while ESRI is struggling with that. If you re dealing with huge chucks of data, i suggest you look other options.
