Best GIS Software for Geographically Mapping any area on Earth.
What do you like best about the product?
It can do Analysis, Coding, and databases linking to maps. Adding feature layers is my favourite part. Using base layers maps and then mapping the data based on the key field.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's nothing as such, just it's a bit costly - but again, considering all its features and glory - it's worth it. I just dislike the price part and want to see it on lower side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to identify black spots, blind spots and other accident-prone areas on highways by displaying in on maps. We have achieved excellent and precise results.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best GIS software available in the market. No regrets about getting this software; worth spending.

Vital program for environmental engineers
What do you like best about the product?
It is a software that allows for various types of activities for information analysis for proper environmental management, risk prevention, and the management of water networks all in a geographic manner and allows for professional GIS work, the information created can be used for free by users.
What do you dislike about the product?
the lack of courses that allow for a better understanding of how the tool works
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my career as an environmental engineer, it has allowed me to make risk maps, delineation of work areas, and knowledge of the IDF.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would like there to be more training courses for handling the tool.

What do you like best about the product?
with its highly compatible user interface and wide functinality ranging from urban planning to watershed analysis, ArcGIS is exteremely multifaceted for spatial analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
The license has a high cost for the individual system and not open source. Multiple extensions need to bought for different use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Suitable for multi-criteria decision-making using spatial layers for site suitability problems. It dramatically reduces manual effort and time.
I have been using arcgis software since 10 year. It is very useful in GIS industries

Data conversion, network analyst, georefrencing tools ,Model builder, query builder, data management tools, spatial tools etc.

There is Nothing to dislike in arcgis...

Good software for GIS Analysis
What do you like best about the product?
It comes with a wide variety of tools for both GIS and remote sensing anlysis. I use it for office work, It comes handy for data visualization and easy interface for map composition.
What do you dislike about the product?
No doubt the software is a complete package for GIS and Remote Sensing user but procurement of this software for personal use is what dissappoints me because of its high price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Satellite data visualization, Land use change analysis, crop classification, crop acreage estimation, map composition, georeferencing, digitization of scanned maps, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definetly recommend ArcGIS for GIS students and others working in GIS environment.

Arc gis is a costly software to acquire and maintain. Its installation is in computers with high processing speed, and they are mostly expensive.

We use Esri ArcGIS for watershed delineation, mapping, and planning. It is built with a wide range of tools and features to streamline the whole mapping process.
Powerful Mapping & Analysis Tool
What do you like best about the product?
GIS allows you to do almost any type of mapping & analysis you can imagine. It is a universal tool in the United States which means you can get data for almost any part of the country.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a steep learning curve for advanced analysis and features. The power of the tool - the large list of commands and the way they need to be combined to achieve your desired results - is also its main limitation. It is not easy to pick up or figure out by trial and error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My project teams use GIS to create basemaps when we do not have a survey, analyze large-scale areas such as entire cities or many acres of land, and find out information via downloading public datasets (topography, utilities, streets / roads, drainage ways).
After completing the Mooc two courses on Esri I got so many knowledge of GIS and that feels nice.

After completing the MOOC two courses on Esri, I got so much knowledge of GIS, which feels nice. The Cartography was very interesting and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was doing a QGIS course and that was translated from French to English, and when I was going for the material, I was unable to find the material on that platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am making a geological map through Arc GIS and GIS Pro. Before, it was like we were making maps by hand. We are preparing them with ESRI products, which feels good because we are in the digital world now.
Easy to learn

Intuitive interface made it very easy to learn and be productive almost immediately.
