Nextgen Content Management
What do you like best about the product?
One of the standouts of this platform is the flexibility it offers. Hygraph offers a very seamless headless CMS experience with effortless integration into any front-end framework. Its powerful API first design also makes it a great choice for developers since it enables them to deliver content to any channel or device in a customized manner. The user-friendly interface also makes content management a breeze for non-technical personnel, so it's a great choice for teams at any skill level.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Hygraph offers plenty of flexibility, the cost is a bit on the higher side for smaller projects or startups. The learning curve can also be steep for some users to set up more advanced content models right out of the gate, especially if they have not worked with headless CMS platforms before. While the platform does scale extremely well, some of the more robust features do take a bit more time to get used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hygraph solves the problem of content management and delivery on different platforms and devices seamlessly. Its headless CMS approach decouples content creation from content presentation, allowing for simple content distribution on websites, mobile apps, and even IoT devices. It is particularly handy for projects that require a bespoke, consistent user experience across channels. It simplifies content management, removes the necessity for complex back-end integrations, and allows for faster deployment of updates—saving time and resources in the process. For me, it makes content updates simple and efficient, allowing developers and content teams to work better together.
Great customer support
What do you like best about the product?
Hygraph is very developer-friendly. The feature set and the documentation makes it very approachable.
When I encountered an issue that was affecting my roadmap, I reported it via chat and the response was immediate. The issue was then resolved quickly.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would be great if it included some pre-configured components, like captchas or forms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using it to support a real estate website. It allows me to integrate with my existing backend without having to migrate data between systems.
Powered Content with Hygraph
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Hygraph is its scalability and flexibility as a headless CMS. It allows developers to create custom content models and integrate them across various channels without any problem, all the while offering a user-friendly interface to the authors. Hygraph's ability to handle complex content workflows and being an API-first solution makes it an ideal solution for modern, multi-channel apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
One potential downside of Hygraph is its pricing plan, which might be slightly on the higher side of the range for small projects or startups with tight budgets. Secondarily, while its flexibility is one of its strongest points, the setup and configuration process is not always straightforward to get through for first-time users of headless CMS systems. Some users might find the learning curve slightly higher than with more traditional CMS systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hygraph solves the problem of rigid, monolithic CMS systems through a headless solution that is scalable and flexible. It offers developers the power to build custom content models and publish content across devices and platforms through APIs. It is ideal for teams working on complex, multi-channel projects because it simplifies managing the content and offers seamless integration. For me, Hygraph's flexibility and API-first nature simplify workflows, reduce repetitive updates to the content, and facilitate easier scaling when projects grow.

Insanely good Headless CMS
What do you like best about the product?
I don't write reviews or give praise lightly, but Hygraph is a product I fully endorse.
I've searched for a headless CMS far and wide to find a perfect match for our product/architecture.
Hygraph ticked a lot of boxes for me as a tech lead, so we started integrating Hygraph into our product.
From the get-go the developer experience was great, and all of the devs in the team love it. Once we started going live with first features via Hygraph, we instantly got a lot of love from our admin users who manage the content.
The most important points we need and get via Hygraph are:
* we wanted the Schema/Model management to be done via UI, basically a no-code solution
* we wanted good filtering options for the content (hygraph offers a lof of dynamic filtering and view setup that fits all of our users)
* we wanted the Webhook capabilities so that we can listen to content changes on the CMS (Hygraph offers just that) + a very nice webhook log which we appreciate greatly
* transparent billing
Also, the Customer Support is proactive and I got help when I needed it on a few occasions.
Anyhow, I'm very excited we found Hygraph and started using it.
To mention, we're using Hygraph for circa 2 months now.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I directly dislike about Hygraph. We've found a few bugs, like minor UI glitches here and there, but nothing I would deem dramatic or that would put me off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving our CMS needs for additional content which we integrate into our SPA web application.
Fine grained permissions
What do you like best about the product?
Hygraph offers detailed permission controls, allows to set role specific access for content. This means only authorized users can view, edit, or manage content based on their roles, reducing security risks and ensuring content stays protected and well managed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hygraph is a headless CMS, meaning it only delivers structured content via API and does not handle website rendering. The least helpful aspect is that users need to build their own frontend, as it doesn’t provide ready-made templates. A downside of Hygraph is that its setup can be slower compared to other CMS platforms, which come with built-in templates for easy content creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, content updates required manual tagging, categorization, and adjustments for different platforms. With Hygraph’s AI models, content can now be automatically tagged and distributed across multiple channels such as web and social media without the need for constant manual effort.

The UX takes a bit of time to get used to but once you know your way around, it's relatively straight forward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hygraph helps me update content across multiple channels at once - this ensures consistency in messaging and also just reduces manual work for me.

Clunky process but gets the job done

Getting company announcements onto our website.
