What do you like best about the product?
The visual schema management, and the customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
It supports only GraphQL to access its content API
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wouldn't have to build my own CMS.

Very well build and asthetic headless CMS

What do you like best about the product?
I do like the look and feel of tha app.
Since i am using Hygraph for over 3 years now it is simply fantastic ho well organized the app is.
Setting up Backends for my Angular Frontend is blazing fast.
Setting up Shemas with the drag and drop is just awesome.
It saves me tons if hours creating userfriendly Backends for Clients which are not overcrowded with Information.
The ability to create content blocks makes it very easy to give my customers the Freedom they need.

As i do run multiple customers for their backends it is also great that they can invite my account as an admin for theirs.

What gives me ne ability to administrate the different backends from one Account!

Oberall i've tried many systems in that scenario and hygraph has simply one one ne most beautiful interfaces.

Oh and the api Playground is just nice.

Only thing that lags is organizing assets and save queries in the playground.

But i can live with that.

The system improves and development is good.

It is also well documentend.

Ober all i am very satisfied.

Would be nice to have a paid plan for freelance projects that just need a little mor than the free subscription to boost it just a tiny bit. The gap between paid an free is to large.
What do you dislike about the product?
As mentioned before it lags in asset handling (grouping assets), but most headless cms do that, too. And it is sad that queries in the playground wont be saved in users profile.
As a developer i constantly flushing my browser cache so most configurations like queries / organized views of lists are just saved in local storage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simply blasting time if creating backend sevices. It is so fast and easy to use!

What do you like best about the product?
- Ease of use
- Great documentation
- Fair pricing
- Flexibility of the product
What do you dislike about the product?
- Limited number of requests, which is too small when you build you next JS
- Limited UI on mobile
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating the "back-end" for my websites (3 for now), handling all the static content.
It's superfast to setup, and extremely well concieved.

Awesome, easy to use, solution for your CMS needs

  • May 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Hygraph is an awesome tool, with a fast support that makes using the plattform seamless. The implementation is easy and simple as you can access your data across every app, language or channel by just using their graphql-api, examples and sdk. There is currently no major blocker for anything that u need.

The integration in our current systems are easy because we even can access external data in our hygraph content, so manage products e.g. external or embed data from another api's or related companies.

We use it on a daily basis to manage our content and blog and structure of our marketplace.
What do you dislike about the product?
Major price gap between free and and first premium license which makes it hard to scale from a small startup to a rising company. A pay-as-you-go pricing would be awesome for the free tier.

Some of the UI makes it hard for the marketing and non-tech guys to build rather complex sites and currently no integration for vercel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage content headless between different apps, sites and much more. Embed and manage external data.

What do you like best about the product?
It its really customizable and i really like how the ui works and looks
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see a bit more user experience inthe api playground, like maybe a sidebar where you can explore all the options. something like the supabase api documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I managed to make a really big website with incremental static regeneration with nextjs, hygraph was perfect for this since it offers webhooks that i can connect to netlify.

A very generous and scalable content management system

  • May 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The tabular view of all my content is a very high selling point of hygraph in my opinion. And ofcourse the generous free tier
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when i reconfigure or rearrange the colums in table it doesn't work and reverts back to the default view
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease with which i can set up a complex content management system and connect to my front-end. This save me a lot of time and effort

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use of Hygraph. I'm using it for my blog and as a beginner I must say I find it practical and it has all the functionalities I was looking for at a that price.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me, there's not a lot of negative stuff to do. It has everything I'm looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My website is not a CMS so when I wanted to start a blog it was not practical. That's why I'm using Hygraph, it helps me to easily create content for my website even if I'm not a specialist.

Best Free CMS for any developer

  • May 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
That it's free and provide a lot of features which helps my business
What do you dislike about the product?
If we want to move to a paid plan the pricing is very expensive, apart from that everything else is good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whenever I build a single page website for my clients they always ask me to provide them a way to change hero section images or store some dynamic blogs etc, that's where Hygraph helps me a lot because using Hygraph I don't have to create a custom server just for a single page website.

Hygraph for a non-profit project Renaissance Prague a master of headless CMS

What do you like best about the product?
I love the API eplorer. This is the best time saver in the whole development process. The rest of Hygraph CMS is very well done job. Clear and nice db model definition easy to to use for editors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would do more work on html editor. I would include more options assigning classes. I would also suggest to allow to create class liberies. Adding classes from widespread frontend frameworks like Semantic UI etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do not need to create my own entry editor for web content. Building a UI thats allows user to create nad update content is a pain. Hypgraph CMS is the right solution. Building a backend for standard web is wate of time when Headless CMS exist. Hygraph does the job and help speed up the development process. As it is hosted service it removes the pain of maintaining back end. I can go to sleep and I know if hypgraphs goes down somebody else will be trying to fix it not me.
