What do you like best about the product?
Its ability of integration with other tools and orchestration to manage user Active directory with that a security most important to get reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Community of this tool is small that creates a problem in finding solutions when we stuck in something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do are facing problem in everything manual for that automation and risk management in our project helps a lot.

What is our primary use case?

ManageEngine ADManager Plus allowed us to perform AD functions without giving the technicians direct access to the servers and the Active Directory tools. The solution is primarily used for things like password resets, account creation, and account deletion.

How has it helped my organization?

The solution has helped our organization by reducing risks and not allowing a technician direct access to the servers and the environment.

What is most valuable?

The most valuable features of the solution are its ease of use, the ability for us to customize the access privileges for the users, and integration with ServiceDesk Plus.

Another feature that I really fell in love with is the recycle bin. One of my engineers deleted a machine out of the AD. After almost two weeks, we could go into the solution, locate that machine in the recycle bin, and restore it. After being restored, the machine worked perfectly.

What needs improvement?

The solution should be made tablet friendly because it works well on iPhones and Android phones, but does not work on tablets. In today's world of mobility, tablets are becoming more commonplace because they are less heavy, and you can just whip them out and use them anywhere.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using ManageEngine ADManager Plus for more than ten years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

ManageEngine ADManager Plus is a very stable solution.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

We were able to upscale the solution as needed with more licenses.

I rate ManageEngine ADManager Plus ten out of ten for scalability.

How are customer service and support?

The solution's technical support is excellent. The technical support has been able to assist if needed, simply with an email instruction. I've never really had to engage them in any remote control session.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We previously used a solution called Track-It! by Numara Software. We switched to ManageEngine ADManager Plus for better features and usability. ManageEngine ADManager Plus had better features, and the interface was more streamlined for my needed functions.

How was the initial setup?

The solution’s initial setup is straightforward.

What was our ROI?

We have seen a return on investment with ManageEngine ADManager Plus.

We lowered the ownership cost in terms of hiring more engineers. We were able to complete tasks with a smaller group or a smaller team. We were able to reduce the training cost because we only needed to train on specific things to complete tasks versus having to send people to get Microsoft certified.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

I am satisfied with the solution’s pricing.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing ManageEngine ADManager Plus, we evaluated Zendesk.

What other advice do I have?

I advise potential users to clear their minds and try every scenario as they approach the solution. In most cases, it will solve the problems and provide the answer you're looking for.

Overall, I rate the solution ten out of ten.

Excellent Reporting Tool

What do you like best about the product?
It is capturing all the information of AD including Bitlocker keys which is enabled through M365(intune). rest of reporting features are very good
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to be disliked as ADManager plus is having all require features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User onboarding/off boarding functionalities and its automation is excellent which is helping us to minimize manual intervention of multiple layer

What is our primary use case?

Our use cases include mostly auditing purposes.

What is most valuable?

As far as requirements, the applicant is working correctly.

What needs improvement?

There is room for improvement in support, they should work on overall competence and turn-around time.

ManageEngine needs to timely upgrade the product it could include bug fixes or any security-related alerts

For how long have I used the solution?

We use this solution in our company. I have a dedicated team who's working on it.

So, we have been using this solution for two years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

It is a stable solution.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

It is a scalable solution. We are planning to increase the usage.

How are customer service and support?

We are satisfied with the support.

The solution suits our requirements.

What about the implementation team?

We got help from ManageEngine for the deployment process. We have four administrators for the solution.

What other advice do I have?

So once you use them and take the help of the product team, that'll be good for the IT team.

Overall, I would rate the solution an eight out of ten because ManageEngine needs to timely upgrade the product it could include bug fixes or any security-related alerts.

Intuitive Time Saver

What do you like best about the product?
It has a familiar UI very easy to use out of the box, so to speak. My techs of any level can gain mastery of it in a short period of time. Highly welcomed as it reduces repetitive tasks enabling us to set attributes by groups quickly. It's also superb in segregating rights to varied teams of varied permission levels for them to manage their teams rights with ease. The UI enables our support staff to quickly resolve AD related tasks on a daily basis. Very pleased.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any particular dislikes but if anything I would say make the full blown version of licensing less costly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Management of over 1000 employees by groups instead of by individuals, and very efficient in terms of the amount of time we've saved in using such a well designed tool.

What do you like best about the product?
the interface is extremely intuitive and easy to use. the reporting is great, it already has most of the reports that you need, and if not it's very easy to create one.

i really haven't found anything lacking with this tool.

it makes my job much quicker and easier.

What do you like best about the product?
The upsides are less wasted time connecting to the local domain controller and using the users and computers app to reset user passwords.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont have any dislikes about ADManager but if there was something I would say that a nicer UI could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AD Manager is solving quick password resets and user onboarding and offboarding.

What do you like best about the product?
This software provides automation and customizations that can help you streamline your onboarding process, especially for a small team like the one I have in my organization. You can also use the software to generate in-depth reports to help you identify security risks and compliance issues. With frequent updates and feature enhancements, you can ensure the software will keep up with your changing needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Besides the occasional updates that might break some functionality of the application, there isnt much to dislike about the application. I would like to see more sleek UI design but that just a preference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The automation is what is helping is keep our help desk tickets down and reducing the workload and allowing us to focus on other task. The integration between all the applications we use from MangeEngine is a big plus as well

So many easy to get to components to manage our AD environment and add users in Exchange.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a better way of being able to manage user's permissions on files and folders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows our tech support personnel access to make changes while not giving them administrative privileges.
