Excellent tool for AD management solution
What do you like best about the product?
ManageEngine ADManager Plus has been a game-changer for our organization's Active Directory management. As an security administrator, we appreciate its straightforward interface and powerful feature set that simplifies managing user accounts, groups, and organizational units.
One of the best features is its simple web-based dashboard, which allows us to perform various AD tasks effortlessly. Creating, modifying, or deleting user accounts and groups is a breeze, and the bulk import/export option saves us valuable time during onboarding and offboarding processes.
We are impress with the capabilities of this tools.

What do you dislike about the product?
Certain updates have led to compatibility issues in our Active Directory environment, necessitating us to contact customer support for assistance. However, the resolution process may take some time to address the problem effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to perform various AD tasks effortlessly. Creating, modifying, or deleting user accounts and groups is a breeze, and the bulk import/export option saves us valuable time during onboarding and offboarding processes.
ADManager Plus has made our workflow process easier and consistent
What do you like best about the product?
ADManager Plus has a great user interface and dashboard. We have created custom templates for various account purposes such as an Employee, Service Account, and External Vendor, all with their different requirements in order to create AD accounts correctly and consistently with custom rules. based on Office sites or other requirements. The workflow process is extremely handy for us when we are disabling a former employee account, ensuring account de-provisioning is done correctly. ADManager automation capabilities has considerably reduced the ServiceDesk's time on repetitive tasks. We are looking forward on implementing the UKG integration in the next few months to improve our process with HR on Onboarding and deprovisioning users. The integration with ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus is a great benefit for us as well. Their continuous improvement, integration with Azure AD, and the ability to use an Azure SQL Managed Instance instead now even of a local Postgres Database shows their dedication in constantly improving on the product. The reporting capabilities are useful and beneficial for us on multiple occasions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything that I dislike about the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consistent account creation and deprovisioning. Integration with ServiceDesk Plus Asset module to disable AD Computers. Workflow Management, reporting, time saving.
Excellent Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The level of security they have at the moment of performing the Login with the captcha and MFA provides very good security. Additionally, the customization of templates for user creation through their Workflow is very good and facilitates the work by making the credentials of the created accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting needs to improve a bit in order to have better filtering options, as it is currently very limited and advanced reports for audit purposes cannot be made.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
that the user nomenclature defined for users, groups, and emails be complied with, the process of creating service users was automated, which makes the work of other areas of the company more fluid.

ADManager Plus has helped us a lot in managing our AD on premises and also Azure AD. from its centralized console we perform tasks that we previously had to perform using several different tools. NTFS permissions reports have been key to regulatory and compliance issues
What do you dislike about the product?
So far we have not had any major problems. since its implementation everything has run smoothly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduled reports from AD and MFA authentication monitoring issues have saved us a lot of time. the permissions module on file servers allows us to have better control over access to information
ADManager Plus is an effective suite of tools and reports.
What do you like best about the product?
We use ADManager Plus to maintain control of our Active Directory. We run automated reports notifying us if there are changes to group memberships and roles. It's very helpful providing audit reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer a more full featured Azure Active Directory tool box. The interface could use some help in simplifying the domain connectors and credential status.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ADManager Plus provided the reporting and Active DIrectory control that our small team needs. We're able to automate reporting and easily commit changes to AD user and computer objects.

Getting reports for all ad activeies in one place
Invaluable resource for an education institution
What do you like best about the product?
The primary reason we love ADManager Plus in education is the automation of account creation and maintenance. In an educational environment, the number of user accounts varies almost daily. An application that works with exports from our SIS (student information system) is vital to our success. Account moves, account creation, account removal, and account creation tracking are the best parts of the application. Everything else the software can do is a bonus.

In our experience, there are very few to no downsides to using the product. with the service and support provided by ManageEngine, we are able to work through issues rapidly.

What do you like best about the product?
Support is always quick to work with us. The application allows more technicians to work with AD without actually touching a controller.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup for security can be a little grueling to get through, but beyond that, the application works great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows for additional reporting, and in addition lets us allow our technicians to connect and begin the user setup process without the need for direct access to AD
