ADManager Plus offloads all the main tasks of Active Directory, or you can say it automates all the day-to-day tasks. It allows our admins to efficiently manage end-user accounts. It's like user account management outside the real servers but in an automated way. So we don't have to log in to the domain controllers and make changes directly on the server. This application allows admins to make changes, run scripts, install software, fetch reports, and perform many other daily operations. This simplifies the job significantly.

AD Manager plus does everything you need for AD
What do you like best about the product?
Reporting functions seem to have all the different reports needed out the box and easy to modify for what you need and bulk user management makes it a breeze to modify multiple users and groups with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure there is much not to like. its easy to use!

Ease of bulk user provisioning and user modifications. When corporate changes occur its noce and easy to start to modify bulk users at once with AD Mnager Plus
Great Product For The Price
What do you like best about the product?
I can manage every aspect of my Active Directory environment from inside ADManager Plus without having to worry about my admins logging into the server. ADManager Plus also tracks every change made. I can restrict access to my AD environment, letting ADManager Plus handle all writes to AD, and see the activity that has been performed by my admins inside of the ADManager logs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The upgrade process is still very manual. I have had a couple of occasions where there has been an error during the upgrade and I've had to restore the entire service from backups due to an inability to complete the upgrade. Other ManageEngine products now feature a fully automated update process and I would like to see that in ADManager Plus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AD Manager Plus makes it easy to create and modify both users and groups. I don't have to worry about training my admins on the Active Directory interface as everything is done through simple and easy to understand Web forms.

The Process and Functions on the Ad Manager Plus would help the IT Technicians to review & Work on the Professional Manner. Its a One Step Solution to Manage AD Related Activites

As of now cant find the dislike about this tool. The Activities and funtions were really helpful for us. There are some delay in generating the data from Ad. That too have fixed in latest update.

AD Manager plus helping us in executing process in Bulk Functions like unlocking the user from AD for number of users, Executing OU Movements in most Single Click. Generating Reports in all AD Modules are really inspiring

How much time it reduces routine workloads for my administrators.

Updating the application and database. That could be more automated.

Before using ADManager, we had to manually go through multiple steps in our local AD and our Azure Cloud to provision a new user. Also deprovisioning has become automated.
The Swiss Army Knife for AD
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is well designed and written. The interfaces are very intuitive and easy to use. The capabilities ADManager brings to System Admins for managing and reporting in Active Directory are a must-have for every organization. I've installed and use it in my last two companies and will be a life-long customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been a user for three years and haven't found an issue yet. Onboarding and support have been there in the few cases I've had questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ADManager bridges the gaps missing in our hybrid install of AD. In addition, it provides an incredible set of reporting tools to help identify issues and missed housekeeping tasks.

Works great for our company to set template for user/service account creation to ensure compliance and all accounts are created correctly. The reporting tool helps to ensure accounts are compliant.

Just to improve the process in creation of reports, extra cost for every feature that you want to unlock, and ease the process of configuring various automations

Helps to resolve different ways of creating accounts and service accounts in AD. Instead of logging into AD can use this tool and set templates to ensure accounts created correctly.

What is most valuable?
The most valuable feature for me is automation. It's the main feature that stands out the most. It automates seven to eight individual processes that we used to do manually before. Now, it can be done in a single shot as an automated script.
What needs improvement?
With the number of available integrations these days, it would be beneficial to have more ready-to-integrate technologies in other products as well.
In future releases, I would like to have more technologies and products that can integrate with ADManager Plus.
Currently, there are only around eight to ten available as plugins for single-click integration. However, there are many missing integrations. They might be in the pipeline, but they are not visible in the latest updates. Maybe they will add more in the future.
For additional features, I would like to see more efficient reporting. Currently, the focus is more on executing real activities rather than reporting. For reports, we have to go back to ADAudit, which is not ideal. It would be better if they could merge reporting into a single tool, making it more comprehensive.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using ADManager Plus for three years. We use the latest version.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I would rate the stability an eight out of ten. It's pretty straightforward.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I would rate the scalability as seven out of ten. So there is room for improvement. It would be beneficial if ManageEngine could come up with more products other than Microsoft.
So, in fact, the scalability is limited when it comes to integrating with anything apart from Microsoft.
This solution covers all our users, which is around 1500. We use this solution 24/7 and to its maximum potential.
How are customer service and support?
We are satisfied with the support team.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup was very easy. I would rate my experience with the initial setup a nine out of ten. It took two days to deploy the solution.
What about the implementation team?
Only one person was enough for deployment. The job role of this person is a system admin.
The deployment is a simple software installation for deployment. By mentioning the domain name of the domain controller, it fetches all the required data. It's a small integration and loads up quickly with all the necessary data.
The solution requires maintenance. The support guy handles the maintenance.
What was our ROI?
The ROI was around 90%.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
It is not expensive. I would rate the pricing model as a four out of ten, where one is low price and ten is high price. The price is fixed, like a basic price. There are no additional costs.
What other advice do I have?
I would definitely recommend the solution. Overall, I would rate it an eight out of ten. It's pretty good to have this tool to simplify our IT operational tasks and reduce the workload for our service desk agents. It has automated many individual activities that we used to get stuck with.
