  • March 11, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Best thing is its ability to simplify complex Active Directory and Microsoft 365 management tasks through bulk automation, intuitive reporting, and secure delegation—all without requiring scripts or coding. This makes it especially powerful for enterprise IT teams who need efficiency, compliance, and scalability.

main drawbacks of ManageEngine ADManager Plus are its scalability limits with very large environments, relatively high licensing costs, occasional stability issues, and gaps in integration with HR or third-party systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it solves the pain of repetitive, error-prone Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration by centralizing bulk management, reporting, and delegation. it reduces the need to constantly write and maintain PowerShell scripts, while still giving you audit-ready reports and workflow automation that scale across enterprise environments.

  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

My primary use case for ADManager is to manage users and groups, perform group policy without logging into Active Directory, and provide easy and secure management and monitoring capabilities. One of my clients uses ADManager for these purposes.

What is most valuable?

With ADManager, I can easily complete any Active Directory tasks from anywhere, making it an excellent solution. Moreover, user and group management is straightforward. The software is fast, secure, and enables me to manage everything in one place. The installation process is effortless, requiring only one person.

What needs improvement?

Some of my clients experience issues with the GPO results, which do not always generate the real outcomes. This needs to be resolved by technicians. Additionally, upgrading from recent to the latest versions is quite complex and time-consuming. Improvements in this area would be beneficial.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using it for about one and a half years, maybe.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I would rate the stability of ADManager at eight points on a scale from one to ten. It is quite stable.

How are customer service and support?

Technical support from ManageEngine is very satisfactory. I would rate it as ten points out of ten.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup of ADManager is straightforward and easy to install. It only requires one person to complete the setup.

What was our ROI?

The return on investment is noticeable in terms of cost saving, which is about ten to 15%.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The solution is perceived as cheap, and the licensing is annual.

What other advice do I have?

The user interface can be improved with the inclusion of AI features. This would reduce the need for user interaction and enhance search capabilities. I would rate ADManager at nine out of ten points overall.
