Deepgram has provided us with accurate transcriptions, beating other third parties we tested
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that we can change the model being used for transcription and also their parameters is very powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if the dashboard logs showed more details about the transcript (maybe the whole transcript?) and also the URL of the audio file (if an URL was used).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Widely configurable and flexible
What do you like best about the product?
Configuration is flexible on timing and breaks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Without testing and modification, the initial setup is very aggressive and doesn't provide the best result.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speech to text translation.

Easy to use, team super available, recurrent updates with new promising features (like entity recognition)

Language détection was not available at the beginning but it is now: so I have to integrate this update;)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company is using transcription in a podcast creation tool. Deepgram improved results compared to classic providers like GCP.
Product works well and is reasonably priced
What do you like best about the product?
Well-documented API and quick response times. Dashboard functions well and the service is super affordable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing offhand. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an STT service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transcription of voice communication. We've used it in a discord bot primarily aimed at Virtual TTRPG gamers for accessibility and note-taking. But that bot could also provide the same functions to anyone.
Amazed at the speed
What do you like best about the product?
I was very impressed with how quickly responses come. The API was easy to follow and I was able to test the application in 10 minutes. It was several times faster than other products i have tested.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not find that it had a WER that was as good in my application (medical conversations) that allowed me to move forward with it. I found that this would be a great API for me if i was able to get by with slightly worse performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blazing fast ASR! They are able to convert audio speech into text with such speed that it would work great for low latency applications (call centers/ customer support/ etc)
Deepgram: Write everything you listen!
What do you like best about the product?
It's a useful, easy to use software to translate every audio, It's very simple create an API, interrogate it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation is a little bad organized. It miss some example in specific languages and something like that.

I use it in some issues in the hacktoberfest, to traslate video and podcast and do demos. It' is very fast to learn to use so that's the benefit
Remarkably quick & user-friendly speech-to-text.
What do you like best about the product?
I used the JavaScript SDK to spin up a quick speech-to-text feature for a Discord bot. It was straightforward to get started & the API was plain enough to understand to achieve the intended functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike. The feature set could be limited, but to be fair, I did not need to delve deep into the API documentation to accomplish what was required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The purpose of the Discord bot was to provide access to deaf and hard of hearing users who want to engage in a virtual tabletop game playing experience. Most existing virtual tabletop software does not include a speech-to-text option, so we created a Discord bot using the JavaScript SDK to achieve this.

What do you like best about the product?
Deepgram is the best transcribing software available in the market right now. It was far superior to google transcribe. I have used it for indian languages and results are very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frankly speaking, deepgram doesn't have any dislikes. Just one concern is it has to advertise more to get more clients. It already has the best custom models for telecom, so it can explore other fields.

main problem deepgram solves to transcribe call center recorded audio into text.It was terrific to transcribe the Indian languages with a low word error rate and much better than google.
I really like the ease of getting started.

Deepgram makes it easy to build a transcription feature into your workflow quickly. The example snippets and very good documentation make it easy to get a quick prototype working.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once you get deeper into using Deepgram, the UI feels a little too primitive and some features are only accessible via the API. It works well, but just added an extra step in development.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a way to transcribe audio files of many different formats at an inexpensive rate. The initial free tier made it very easy to develop the prototype and present it to my management.

The API is way easier to use than other SST services. The service is fast, and the transcriptions are accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Service can be unreliable when you need it the most. There are times when transcription response times are over 5 minutes. Service can be unreliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are solving transcriptions for our service at lightning speed and with accuracy. As long as our customers are happy, we're happy.
