Phenomenal Support and Seamless SOC 2 Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
I have had an incredible experience with Secureframe, particularly because of the amazing support and help provided by John Guilford. Some in the industry mentioned a lack of support, but my experience has been the opposite. John has been patient, knowledgeable, and simply exceptional in guiding us through the SOC 2 process, which is quite involved and complicated. I'm very happy with what we have achieved thanks to Secureframe. The customer service has been phenomenal; whenever we get stuck, we receive not just help but also reference materials. The whole framework is neat, organized, and structured in a way that makes the process easier, with clear instructions on the evidence required.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are just so many SOC two items, and I'm not sure if there's a way to make it easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe helps me navigate SOC 2 compliance, offering phenomenal customer service and a neat, organized framework. Anytime we're stuck, we get help and reference material. The structure and guidance make the process manageable, saying exactly what evidence is needed.

Honestly, there were no drawbacks. Secureframe was responsive, open, and easy to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe excelled at identifying compliance gaps, flagging issues that required remediation, and providing a centralized place to review and act on that information
Essential for SOC2 Compliance, Needs UI Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I trust that all the compliance requirements are highlighted and that it integrates with all the services we use. I appreciate having a reliable list of tests as the first step to being compliant, especially for SOC2. The initial setup was pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can be a little wonky, especially for bulk operations. Sensible defaults would help speed repetitive forms. For example, marking evidence out of scope requires a step to select the framework (like SOC2) and submit the form, even though we only have one framework. The test page supports view filters but doesn't support dynamic fields such as 'current user', so filtering tests owned by me requires a lot of clicks every time.

Secureframe keeps us SOC2 compliant by ensuring all compliance requirements are highlighted and integrates with all the services we use.
Secureframe Made Our First SOC 2 Audit Feel Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
Going through a SOC 2 audit for the first time, I can't imagine not using a platform like Secureframe. Throughout the entire process from initial discussions to evidence review with our auditing team, Secureframe's customer support was quick to provide assistance. Their platform makes it incredibly easy to organize compliance evidence with a variety of integrations to our existing platforms. Secureframe's control monitoring dramatically simplifies maintaining compliance goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints about Secureframe at all for managing our SOC 2 compliance program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing the evidence required for SOC 2 compliance and ensuring our controls are working. Vendor security assessments are a breeze. The risk registrar simplifies risk assessment and management.
SecureFrame Delivers Excellent Support, Easy Interface, and Great Value
What do you like best about the product?
This is my second time hiring SecureFrame. Their customer support is excellent, the platform interface is easy to work with, and the price offers good value for the amount paid. They also are helpful when going through the audit process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of test that need to be completed. The first time through the process is time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secure Frame was able to prepare us for SOC 2 Type 2 and HIPAA compliance. Additionally their recommended Policies and Procedures can be helpful when working with new clients to show your adherence to correct protocols.
Streamlined SOC 2 Compliance with Top-Notch Templates
What do you like best about the product?
I think the included templates in Secureframe explained a lot to us and gave us an efficient starting point. We're also able to reach out and contact our Secureframe representative to get questions about the process answered, which is really helpful. The templates help clarify areas that were not clear to us.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not a dislike, but I think more flexibility in being able to add and remove parts of your infrastructure for testing would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe gave us a good starting point for our first certification and provides an ongoing structure to stay compliant.
Intuitive Compliance Tool with Easy Setup and Robust Features
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Secureframe provides a single repository for managing our compliance, storing evidence, and facilitating audits. The guidelines and templates are very helpful. It's like having a consultant guide us through the processes required to achieve and maintain compliance. The system is very intuitive and it helps us see where the gaps are in our processes, ensuring that we will receive a clean SOC 2 report from our auditor. The initial setup was very easy! We set up the link to Entra and it pulled all of our accounts into the system automatically, then we went to work on the policy templates which really let us hit the ground running.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the vendor security review functionality could be a little more intuitive; it's difficult to understand exactly how that process works. It's not really clear how exactly we're supposed to conduct the vendor security reviews, or what an auditor would expect to see in that area of the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe streamlines our compliance management by providing a single repository for storing evidence and facilitating audits. It guides us through compliance processes, helping us identify gaps and ensuring a clean SOC 2 report.
Effortless SOC 2 Type Tracking with Outstanding Support from Brandon
What do you like best about the product?
It allows us to efficiently organize, assign and track our progress towards our SOC 2 Type requirements. Their account team, especially Brandon has been an incredible asset and provided timely support when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are none to note. It is a positive experience in all aspects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to assign a significant amount of tasks, track progress and capture evidence to make our assessment as efficient as possible. It provides and tracks updates on security training, background checks, and ongoing security processes and practices.
Effective Security Tool with Room for Asset Management Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I like the clear explanation of vulnerabilities and the practical, easy-to-follow remediation steps with Secureframe. The clear explanations help our team quickly understand the real impact of each vulnerability, even for non-security specialists. The step-by-step remediation guidance saves time and reduces guesswork, especially in AWS, so we can fix issues faster and with more confidence.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asset management could be improved. It's rather difficult to track assets and automate agent deployment on regular workstations using scripts or automation tools like MS Intune. For automation, it would help to have clearer documentation and more flexible deployment options for the Secureframe agent - for now we have to use employee onboarding instructions and login and install agents manually - looks like it is not ready for automation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe helps us improve our security posture and manage risks by identifying issues in AWS and Github, with clear guidance on fixing them. The explanations and remediation steps help us resolve vulnerabilities faster and with confidence.
Effortless Cybersecurity Training, Top Recommended
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Secureframe makes it really easy for me and my colleagues to quickly learn about proper cybersecurity protocols. It ensures we get a good grasp of what's important to safeguard our company and, more importantly, our customers' data. I also appreciate how it provided appropriate education and quizzes, making the process smooth and approachable to get through, unlike the usual dreadful training software. The tools to educate our team on data compliance, like GDPR, and protecting our systems from cyber attacks are critical elements to ours and any business. Additionally, since we moved to Secureframe, our IT team has been very happy, with the process of training our more than 300 employees on such topics being relatively easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the test questions were a little bit hard. I understand the need to push the envelope, and luckily going back wasn't overly painful. I suppose that's something that could be even smoother, so you get the knowledge, but don't take too much time repeating missed questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Secureframe for cybersecurity training, making it easy for employees to learn how to protect our company and customer data.
