Streamlined SOC 2 Compliance with Robust Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the automated tests that run daily and the system integrations. I like knowing that the system is constantly monitoring things, so I don't have to worry about it. The integrations save us from spending human hours digging into our code to ensure we're building our infrastructure securely and in a repeatable manner. The automated tests also give me confidence that we are adhering to our company policies and security best practices. Additionally, it was very easy to set up and configure Secureframe, with nice checklists and very helpful documentation available online whenever we had questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there could be better, more granular notification settings and the ability to integrate notifications about test failures into Slack.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Secureframe to manage complex controls in our tech stack and prevent terminated employees from accessing systems. It automates tests and integrates with our system, ensuring SOC 2 compliance, saves us time, and gives us confidence in adhering to security policies.
Streamling a robust process into actionable items
What do you like best about the product?
Soc2 compliance is daunting and overwhelming but Secureframe made it easy. A past colleague told me that it it would be a 6 months or longer process and Secureframe has greatly shorten that timeline. I appreciates the advice from our CS rep to ensure we were ready before we met with the auditor.
What do you dislike about the product?
The navigation isn't the most intuitive at first but once you spend some time in it, its easy to move around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring we have the knowledge and system processes in place as we go for our SOC 2 compliance. The template made it ease to use and gave us a launching off point.
Makes Security Audits Manageable for Our Small Team
What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe has been very helpful for our small team's compliance efforts. We use it for SOC II Type 1 and Type 2 audits, and it's made what would have been a complex, time-consuming process very manageable. The platform streamlines our compliance workflows and gives us confidence that we're staying on top of all the necessary requirements. The automated monitoring and evidence collection features have saved us countless hours compared to manual tracking. What really stands out is how the platform seems designed to scale with growing companies - as we expand, we can see Secureframe growing with us rather than becoming a limitation.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to complain about. I sometimes find the navigation a bit confusing and have to hunt to find something I know is in the system somewhere but as far as covering our needs we haven't run into any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a very small team, and maintaining SOC 2 compliance looked like a juggling act of spreadsheets, manual checks, and hoping we weren't missing anything critical. Secureframe gives us a centralized platform where we can track all our compliance requirements, automate evidence collection, and prepare for audits with confidence. It's eliminated the stress and guesswork from our compliance process. The platform has been instrumental in helping us maintain our compliance posture as we grow, and both the technology and customer support have exceeded our expectations. For our team, having this level of automation and guidance has been invaluable in staying audit-ready without dedicating a full-time person to compliance management.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very user friendly and templatized so it makes policy review and tests straightforward. Our CSM is extremely knowledgeable and quick to respond to questions over email.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I can pinpoint as a dislike so far.

What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, before we started using SecureFrame, just thinking about SOC 2 made me anxious. As someone handling the process, I was dreading drowning in spreadsheets, chasing down documents and constantly worrying about missing deadlines. But SecureFrame turned all of that around.
What really stood out was how intuitive and guided the whole experience felt. The platform is so easy to use, it takes something as overwhelming as compliance and breaks it down into simple, bite-sized steps. Instead of getting lost in dense regulatory jargon, I had a clear checklist to follow. And the setup was smooth. We connected tools like Google Workspace and AWS in minutes, and SecureFrame automatically started gathering the evidence we needed. That alone saved me hours of manual work, no more digging through files or writing policies from scratch or follow ups on multiple fronts with different teams.
I also can’t say enough good things about their support team. They were quick to respond, super knowledgeable and always gave me practical advice. It never felt like I was dealing with some faceless vendor, they were more like partners, genuinely invested in helping us succeed. There’s so much packed in policy management, security training tracking, vendor assessments, onboarding checklists. It’s like having a compliance command center.

At times, the number of features can feel overwhelming, especially for new admins learning the platform. There aren't many downsides but some access reviews still require a bit of manual oversight, like verifying user permissions across systems and asset inventory.
Additionally, in terms of Frequency of Use, I found the bulk of my active time was during the initial setup and preparing for the audit. After the initial heavy lifting, the ongoing maintenance is so streamlined that I sometimes found myself needing to actively remind myself to check in on the dashboard. This is, of course, a testament to how well the platform automates things, but it could benefit from even more prominent ongoing prompts for regular check-ins to ensure nothing is missed between major audit milestones.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Secureframe is the ease of use within my organization. As an employee, Secureframe made is very easy to do all of my onboarding on Secureframe. Also, it allows my boss to update policies easily, and it will even send out a notification to all employees if there is a new policy that needs to be read. Very useful.

I enjoy everything about Secureframe, it is a very good platform.

Secureframe solves the problem of have a centralized way to inform all employees of policies that keep the company compliant for everything they need to. This allows my organization to know that we are compliant with everything we need to, so we don't get in trouble

Solid Compliance Platform with Great Usability for Auditors
What do you like best about the product?
As an auditor, one of the standout features of Secureframe is how easy it is to navigate and access documentation. The file organization and evidence download process are both intuitive and efficient, which makes our work much smoother—especially when reviewing large volumes of documentation across multiple clients.
The Policy module is another strength. It's straightforward, easy to understand, and makes it clear how policy management ties into the broader compliance program. This is especially helpful for clients who are working toward frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001 for the first time.

What do you dislike about the product?
One improvement I'd like to see is a more robust system for leaving comments and flagging evidence. Right now, it's not always clear how or where to communicate specific feedback within the platform. A more formalized or visible commenting workflow would make collaboration between auditors and clients even more seamless.

Overall, Secureframe has been a strong platform that simplifies the compliance process for both clients and auditors.

Our rep, Coletta, is the champion that helped us along the way and make our SoC2 happen.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our auditor is an authorized vendor but the auditor did not initially understand secureframe's system and where to find evidence and it took back and forth email chains and more attachments.
