The Compliance Foundation for Our Life Sciences Platform.
What do you like best about the product?
As a co-founder, the speed of implementation was critical. Thanks to Secureframe, our health data infrastructure was quickly and efficiently connected on Google Cloud SQL and Amazon S3 to provide immediate visibility into our security posture. The available controls for HIPAA saved us months of work and use of consultants. The platform is easy for both technical co-founder and operations lead to use. Compliance becomes an enabler and not a bottleneck since anyone can use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The project’s initial costs were major line items of our early stage budget. We soon discovered, however, that this was a cost of doing business in health care. The vendor risk module has good functionality but required early support from their team to customize the assessments for some of our niche clinical research partners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe opened the door to enterprise health partnerships for us. Previously, we faced delays in our sales cycles due to lengthy security questionnaires. We can show strong, automatic compliance HIPAA after the first meeting. Our greatest burden and liability is the handling of sensitive patient data. This much we all agree on. This wasn’t just purchasing a software but investing in our credibility and growth. As a founder, I take comfort in knowing that the foundation of my business is secure, allowing my company to scale with confidence.
Audit Management Made Simple, Reliable and stress free
What do you like best about the product?
Their Dashboard makes tracking Audit Milestones clear and actionable. We loved how automated evidence collection just worked in the background no more scrambling for document.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some initial setup felt overwhelming, but their onboarding team was quick to guide us through. it's a small hurdle considering how much time they save us overall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe helped simplify the complex audit process for us at Fetch, giving our team more time to focus on growth instead of chasing compliance tasks manaully.

What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe's functionality relevant to financial regulations is extremely strong. Integrating the enterprise-grade infrastructure with ease was important for us. We were able to connect Okta for certification of access, Microsoft Entra ID for governance and our main Amazon VPC environment for the continuous oversight of financial data workloads. We value the implementation support, as we were given a white-glove service and we were successful in going live because the customer support team understood the high-stakes regulatory environment of our operations. Our team needs the automated evidence collection on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
To use the platform's sophisticated functionalities for customizing regulatory reporting for the financial industry, a standalone resource is necessary. The pricing structure is certainly backed by value, however, it’s a significant enterprise-level purchase that requires buy-in from executives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We rely on Secureframe for our compliance program’s daily activity. The verification of controls for key standards such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001, which are basic necessities for our monetary partnerships and audits, has been automated. Our vendor risk module helps to systematically vet and monitor the fintech API providers and third-party data vendors we work with, greatly reducing third-party risk in our organization. It offers an undeniable record that is automatically documented and meets our internal audit committee and external regulators’ requirements. This is not just a tool but a key strategic asset that helps everyone protect and innovate safely.
Streamling a robust process into actionable items
What do you like best about the product?
Soc2 compliance is daunting and overwhelming but Secureframe made it easy. A past colleague told me that it it would be a 6 months or longer process and Secureframe has greatly shorten that timeline. I appreciates the advice from our CS rep to ensure we were ready before we met with the auditor.
What do you dislike about the product?
The navigation isn't the most intuitive at first but once you spend some time in it, its easy to move around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring we have the knowledge and system processes in place as we go for our SOC 2 compliance. The template made it ease to use and gave us a launching off point.
Framed inCustomer Data and Trained New Vendor
What do you like best about the product?
When deploying the platrm into our core systems, it was a surprisingly easy process. We integrated our point-of-sale system’s backend on Amazon S3 (where transaction data is held), Google Workspace for employee access control and QuickBooks Online for financial data security. Being able to automate evidence collection for these integrations is a massive time saver. The vendor risk assessment module is ridiculously easy for me to trigger security reviews of new suppliers and marketing partners without me being a technical expert.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s the retail-specific compliance regimes (PCI DSS and such), but some of the canned control descriptions felt a little better suited to SaaS companies. We did have to enlist some customer-support assistance — which we received quickly and efficiently — to customize the language for our particular retail environment and point-of-sale infrastructure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In retail, nothing is more important than safeguarding the payment and personal information of your customers. A breach would irrevocably damage the trust we’ve worked to earn. That protection is delivered by Secureframe in a clear, auditable framework. It has standardized our entire vendor onboarding, which used to be through nebulous ad-hoc agreements. “I am finally ready to tell our customers that I can trust the system from sales to storage. That operational rigor has not only protected our data, it’s improved the efficiency and reliability of our entire supply chain, transforming a compliance posture into an operational asset.
The Compliance Partner That Grew With Our Startup
What do you like best about the product?
Adrian, u found the implementation and user friendliness as a game changer. We set up our AWS infrastructure — EC2, S3 and IAM — within a few hours and the system began to find missing pieces straight away. The fact there are pre-built policies for standards such as SOC 2 saved us hundreds of hours of research. The level of service from our account manager was just beyond amazing, I felt like it was not about using the software but more so looking out for us from a business case finding possible issues before they happened.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost up front was a serious factor for our bootstrapped budget. It's an investment. But the return on investment, in the form of saved engineering hours and unlocked revenue, was evident within three months. The dashboard for the first iteration felt complex too, I had to spend a few days learning how to find everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe enabled my small and young IT company to compete with significantly larger players in terms on credibility. In the past, SOC 2 seemed like a far-off fantasy that was more trouble and expense than it was worth — buried in spreadsheets and manual inquests. Secureframe’s role was making that a possible, high-efficiency reality. It automated most of the compliance grunt work, so my tech team could build a solution for clients rather than handling evidence. Most important, it delivered the trusted, verifiable security credentials that everyone knew were necessary to close large enterprise deals. It was not simply the purchase of software but a strategic investment for our growth and reputation.

What do you like best about the product?
We love the intuitive dashboard and how everything we need for compliance is in one place. Their team really really guides us through each step make it feel less overwhelming.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some Integrations felt slightly clunky at first, especially with legacy tools. But their support team was quick to step in and smooth it out definitely not a deal breaker.

What do you like best about the product?
So Secureframe was definitely a competitive leg up. The unprecedented ease of implementation led to us going from zero to SOC 2 compliant in record time, a project that previously took startups like ours quarters and Valley-style consultant fees. The fact that the platform could easily connect with our cloud core on AWS extended to our HR system, Rippling, was a game changer – it automated what would have been an insurmountable manual process for our small team. This showed a very clear ROI in not only hours saved, but an increased time to revenue.
What do you dislike about the product?
The investment was a big one for our stage, but it was a measured one. I see it as a tax you have to pay to do business with enterprise customers, like sales and marketing. The initial process was pretty straight-forward, though it did take efforts from our Head of Engineering to confirm everything had been connected correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was the CEO, and my first priority to help the company grow. Security compliance was a big one. Secureframe eliminated it. It was a cornerstone of our sales and marketing strategy that let us come into conversations with large businesses, and even fortune 500 businesses with so much more credibility. The ability to produce a compliance report in real time on a sales call is an incredibly strong trust signal that has directly led to us closing business. It turned compliance from a technical cost center into a strategic revenue driver, and as a leader allowed me have peace of mind knowing our foundation is solid.

What do you like best about the product?
We love how easy secureframe made it to track evidence, prep for audits and stay on top of cloud compliance. Their Interface is clean, the process is guided and it just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if some third party integrations had fewer steps to set up, but their support tea is quick and helpful whenever we hit a roadblock or need guidance.
