Securing Our IoT Ecosystem to Unlock Major Retail Partnerships
What do you like best about the product?
In my role, I’m responsible for rolling out our smart tag technology in national retail chains. The single biggest hurdle is never the technology itself—It’s always passing the retailer’s stringent security and data privacy reviews. Secureframe has been what has unlocked the door to these retailers. It’s so easy to use that I—an untechnical manager—am able to generate the compliance reports and evidence packs retail CTOs need. Our tech team implemented it but from my perspective, it was seamless. The customer support has been excellent when I’ve needed help finding certain docs for a client. I use the platform weekly to get ready for client security audits. The ease of integrating with our systems means that since the data is always current, I can rely on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is very strong and that makes us sometimes get lost looking for a very specific document which is required for a particular client response.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe tackles our most significant challenge: trust. When we enter a meeting with a large retail store, they need to know our Internet of Things devices and the consumer data they provide back are safe. Before Secureframe, these security reviews could halt a rollout for 6-9 months. Now, we can demonstrate SOC 2 compliance on the spot. As a result, we can run pilot programmes faster, execute national rollouts sooner, and enjoy a competitive advantage over other IoT vendors who cannot offer that level of certified security. It's the foundation that enables us to scale our retail activations with confidence unconditionally.

Dramatically Simplified Our Compliance Journey for Azure.
What do you like best about the product?
As a project manager, I was impressed by the ease of use and installation. Secureframe gave us a straightforward plan to follow for our SOC 2 compliance that all stakeholders could clearly see. We had one platform which tracked everything rather than managing a complex spreadsheet containing hundreds of controls. We connected to the Azure Portal easily, which drew evidence for a great number of controls. This saved engineering hours of work. The customer support team was very quick in responding to our questions regarding the tech setup.

What do you dislike about the product?
Though the core platform is great but the learning curve on team members that are not security experts was rather steep at first. Because most non-core team members do not use it often, they sometimes need a refresher on where to find specific documents or how to complete a task assigned to them. It would be amazing if there were more guided walkthroughs or role-specific dashboards for ease of use for infrequent users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe is working to make enterprise-level security compliance easy and manageable for a growing company like mixhers. 2027 IT’s framework has made it easier for us to demonstrate our security posture to any potential enterprise customers. Since we have a robust yet auditable system, the advantage is that we can now confidently pursue larger contracts that require SOC 2 compliance. Importantly, we have kept the project on track and within scope.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe helps us manage third party risk and cloud compliance without needing a dedicated team. It makes audit prep smoother and vendor tracking easier from day one.
The Strategic Enabler for Enterprise Partnerships & Market Credibility
What do you like best about the product?
As a founder, my job is to de-risk our growth path and establish unshakeable credibility with enterprise customers and partners. Secureframe has played a large role in this. The fact that the platform has taken our SOC 2 compliance work and allowed us to turn it into a uniform product is a game changer. The simplicity of use it will provide a virtual roadmap for my entire team, complex requirements will be translated into doable tasks. The implementation was made super simple (including integration with our main cloud infrastructure) and their knowledge for this was amazing. My use of the dashboard is to take a weekly picture of our posture, and the volume of what I see is there gives me confidence that we are constructing a resilient security organization. The ease of integration into our operations was key in our choice.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial investment was big for a company at our stage, and needed to be examined through the lens of long-term ROI. Furthermore, while the platform is really good for general frameworks, customizing it to the unique and detailed needs of a few highly regulated industries which we have in our client base required additional work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe Solves One Of The Biggest Bottlenecks To Enterprise-Level Security Due Diligence When working with major consulting firms and their clients in industries such as Financial Services, Technology etc., Whenever you do the business with these large consulting companies, the stringent security review is a mandatory process and there’s no way moving forward without that. Prior to Secureframe, this was a manual process that slowed down partnerships. We can now offer real‐time, verifiable evidence that we are in compliance. This has hugely expedited our sales cycle, boosted our credibility and even led to strategic partnerships that would have been otherwise unattainable. It has turned compliance from a technical requirement into a business enabler and differentiator.
The Compliance Engine Fueling Our A.I. Centric Retail Partnerships
What do you like best about the product?
As the CEO of an AI company for major retailers, our partners’ trust is our most valuable asset. Secureframe is the clear security foundation that enables us to keep and lose it trust. The simplicity means that my leadership team are be able to have a bird’s-eye view of our compliance status without needing to be technical experts. Ease of implementation was invaluable to our lean startup; we got Azure cloud system and GitHub repositories connected easily and with limited disruption. Installation and customer service support were second to none. I review the platform weekly as part of an executive overview, and it is a power house with features, including automated evidence collection that is tremendous force multiplier. The simple integration into our already established tech stack was definitely a deciding factor.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is a lot for an early-stage company, but the return on investment in revenue from enterprise customers has been crystal clear. I’d also like to see more compliance direction specific to AI as the regulatory landscape develops in this area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe solves the core credibility issue of enterprise retailers that are selling to them. These businesses impose some heavy security requirements when providing a thirdparty access to their customer data. Before Secureframe, their security reviews were a manual and months-long bottleneck. As a result, we are able to show SOC 2 compliance on the spot, and really shorten our sales cycle considerably. This has in turn allowed us to partner with leading brands, turning what had been a cost center into an outsized competitive advantage that powers our growth.
Smooth Start with Secureframe for Audits & Compliance.
What do you like best about the product?
The automated evidence collection and integrations with our cloud tools area a huge plus. We didn't need a security team to get started, and the dashboard is super intuitive, I's saving us hours we'd hours we'd otherwise spend chasing compliance tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some integrations felt a little at first, especially with a few of the marketing tool we use. Also, the setup had a learning curve even with support but nothing deal breaking. Just needed a bit of time to understand all the controls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a marketing firm that handles sensitive client data, Secureframe has been instrumental in keeping us audit-ready and compliant in the cloud. It streamlines the SOC 2 preparation process and provides clear visibility into our controls, which would otherwise require weeks to manage manually.

The platform is very intuitive, and our team didn't require much training to get started. The automated workflows save us a ton of time. I also appreciate how responsive their support team is—they are quick to help and genuinely understand our situation. Integrating with the tools we already use made the setup process painless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting could be improved. While the built-in reports address most of our requirements, they feel somewhat limited when we need to explore data in more depth or tailor reports for internal reviews. Additionally, data syncing from certain third-party tools sometimes experiences delays, which can slow us down a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a manufacturing company, we work with numerous suppliers, and managing their risk and compliance was once a slow, manual task. Secureframe has significantly simplified this process for us. It allows us to automate vendor assessments, keep all information organized in a single location, and provides peace of mind by ensuring our compliance without the usual back-and-forth.

The ease of use is the standout feature. The system simplifies security frameworks into specific actions which I can assign and monitor, a valuable thing for a Project Manager. We use it frequently because we mainly use it in our day-to-day activities to comply. The customer service team has been proactive, and I found implementation easier than expected, courtesy of clearly written documentation to connect our Azure services.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price for a company of our size at mixhers can be quite an investment. It's a big budget number, but the value is there. I think the reporting features could be more customizable for presenting a status update to executive leadership.
