The Ultimate Cloud Compliance Boost
What do you like best about the product?
It made it really easy for us to push towards stronger cloud security without overloading the team. The interface is simple and easy, and it took less time than I thought it would to get everything put in place, just took us like a week to fully set everything up. Their support team is on point, replied quickly to questions and even offered to make some tweaks. We use Google Cloud Run, Google Cloud SQL and Google Cloud Storage every day and Secureframe just hooked right in, pulling the data automatically they needed to check us all against the compliance requirements. I like how often it has our status report updated and feature set, that leaves nothing on the table when it comes to vulnerability scans and access log, without being bloated. Integration was a piece of cake without any custom coding required.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are slow to acknowledge them from time to time, the alerts for small infra changes in Google Cloud Storage will just stack up. Though, It’s not a big deal, but getting the sensitivity dialed in is a bit of a trial-and-error process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a founder of a startup, I was mired in trying to manually map compliance on our cloud deployment resulting in us hanging out to dry during client due diligence. Secureframe automatically monitors all of our Google Cloud services, showing us where we have gaps, and we were able to get to 95% coverage in one month. It’s freed up my time to grow and not handle all that paperwork, plus it proves verifiable to our clients that we can be trusted with their data.
Did the Vendor Screening So Well
What do you like best about the product?
Vendor security reviews, I struggled with those but Email and constantly missing forms were the worst.Secureframe revolutionized this. For our workflow, we exploit its Slack and Jira integrations. Requesting a New Tool When a team needs a new tool, they do so via a Slack command which creates a Jira ticket in our own project for the Unstable team. Secureframe automatically creates the security questionnaire and sends it to the vendor. All comms and docs in one place. And, the 1Password integration is a nice-to-have for us, we now store and track sharing access to the evaluation logins with vendors securely.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Jira integration is nice but everyone has to be bought into using that particular project board. There was a little bit of pushback from teams that are used to simply sending me an email. The platform could be smarter, too, auto-scoring vendor responses too — we currently have to do quite a bit of manual assessment based on their answers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was also the absence of a process. Vendors were being on-boarded with no security review, or requests would sit in my inbox for weeks. It provides us with a formal, trackable and efficient process via Secureframe. It’s helped eliminated shadow IT by giving teams an easy way to submit requests, and has given me a systematic process to manage the entire life cycle of a vendor assessment. We are now completing reviews twice as quickly, and our third party risk profile has plummeted. risk profile of our key production assets. It provides our leadership as well as our clients hard evidence to show that our cloud infrastructure is very much locked down.
And Now, Compliance Without the Full-Time Hire
What do you like best about the product?
It’s minimalist and unobtrusive. As a business owner, I wear all the hats — this tool helps me stay on track with security and compliance issues, without needing to be an expert. It has a clean dashboard, clear tasks and sends great reminders so nothing gets missed. It also makes me feel more confident when I negotiate with larger vendors and clients, because I can easily demonstrate that we take compliance seriously.
What do you dislike about the product?
I just wish it were priced a little more flexibly for very small operations like mine. There are some things that I feel are meant for slightly larger teams, so I don’t use every feature. Would love a “micro-business” plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps me organized and believable. It used to make me nervous to respond to compliance questions from larger partners. Now, I have everything all in one place, and it’s all ready to go. It saves me time, cuts down on stress, and makes my small business appear and function more professionally.
Practical Tool for E-commerce Security

However, and here’s where the catch of not making compliance a headache really becomes apparent, is that compliance as a service is not something that in any way causes friction in the way we operate. It’s smooth and fits in neatly with our workflow. The ease of use had us live in less than 3 weeks and the customer service was fantastic along the way. Considering how much we use it, we are already inline with that weekly check, plus the features don't carry the base software that far (ie: automated scans / reporting). It integrated with Rippling and QuickBooksOnline without issues, my HR data to my accounting data were as solid as a rock.

It would be good for the platform to give more predefined templates for specific niche e-commerce scenarios, we had to develop a few them to ourself. Due to the range in the number of attributes, it took a little while to figure out the most relevant for our scale.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe is handling our PCI DSS compliance needs in a way that reduces breach risk significantly and takes vendor security risk off of our plate, enabling us to earn trust with our customers and operate more efficiently.
Robust Automation of Compliance in Manufacturing Projects
What do you like best about the product?
Maintenance Planner / Project Manager Manufacturing Secureframe has made our SOC 2 and ISO 27001 Compliance Effort exponential easier, with excellent integration with our AWS-based Project Management and Equipment Monitoring Systems. The usability is great and a dashboard where you can see compliance work outstanding at a glance which is especially useful during busy project period. The implementation was easy; we were able to plug in Secureframe right into our current Jira and Microsoft Teams workflows in less than a week, and the project kept rolling. Their customer service was incredibly responsive and even helped guide us in creating a more custom compliance framework for our manufacturing environment. Not only we use the product every day for compliance checks (perfect frequency of usage too), but the amount of features make it very good for risk check and evidence gathering without over-killing. Seamlessness of integration with our cloud-based ERP systems greatly facilitated our audit prep, and cut down on manual documentation time.
What do you dislike about the product?
We needed to tune some of the scheduled and automated reports to fit our maintenance windows specifically, which was fairly easily achieved once we had figured the platform out, the support team made it a simple process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe solves the problem of keeping in compliance across our complex manufacturing environments, where we used to have to keep track of security controls and vendor compliance all manually and it wasn't a fun nor quick process. Automating evidence collection and monitoring to move the needle forward! This means we're always ready for an audit or client questioning and shaves off time to spend on more useful tasks. This enables my team to concentrate on important maintenance planning and project work, increasing operational efficiency while accelerating project delivery.
Making the daunting task of SOC2 and ISO27001 certification clearly obtainable.
What do you like best about the product?
The Dashboard. I can login daily and very easily see what needs to be addressed and with what urgency. Also the Support team is very proactive and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you don't employ an MDM, SecureFrame offers a very lightweight app for Windows, OSX and Linux that can monitor your employees computers for compliance with Hard Disk Encryption, Screen Lock Settings, Password Complexity, Anti-malware settings and Firewall settings. This is hugely helpful. Unfortunately though, since this needs to work across multiple operating systems and hardware configurations, it doesn't always work. When it doesn't it can get a bit tedious.

We use Secureframe specifically to help us manage compliance with SOC2 and ISO27001 frameworks including assisting with obtaining and working with an appropriate auditor.

Would like the features to roll out in a timely manner. Would like the product team to address real world compliance issues and not always the nice to haves.

The platform drastically reduces the manual work and back-and-forth typically required for audits. Its user-friendly dashboard centralizes everything from policy templates to risk assessments, making compliance both faster and less stressful. Secureframe also includes built-in guidance, helping teams stay audit-ready year-round rather than scrambling right before deadlines.
Great for organizing SOC2 and ISO audits
What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe makes it easy to see where we’re in compliance and where gaps exist, which is especially valuable when preparing for a first-time ISO audit. It’s also very straightforward to roll out and track employee acknowledgments of security policies.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have to click a few too many times to uncover why something is marked unhealthy.

Easy Vendor Risk Management for Small Businesses
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a small business owner doing retail(we're beauty, so we deal with a lot of suppliers) and Secureframe has been a game-changer in the way that I've been able to manage our 3rd party/supplier risk management, especially for our AWS-based inventory systems. The simplicity is outstanding -- the platform comes with a clean dashboard that allows me to monitor vendor compliance without having to have an IT team on my own. Ease of integration was a snap; we hooked it up to our Google Cloud-based systems (as well as our payment-processing tools) within days, without skipping a beat in our service. They had amazing customer service that gave us a personalised service to fit our small scale. We test it every week, so it suits our frequency of use and the amount of features is just enough for our size, including vendor evaluations and risk tracking and even closing without being too complex. Ease of integration with our cloud tools dropped our vendor onboarding process from hours of manual effort to instant compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial configuration for customizing vendor risk templates was a little bit of trial and error to fit our specific supplier workflow processes, but the fast responses from the support team helped us get through it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe solves the headache of third party risk management such as supplier data security and compliance, something that's important for us as a retail business with numerous suppliers. Its automated risk assessments and ongoing monitoring make it easier for us to be in compliance with SOC 2 and provide our customers with even more confidence in the way we handle their data. That saved us so much time and allowed me to focus on growing the business to a point where we could have a secure supply chain, and in the process, earn the trust of larger clients.
