PrinterLogic
What do you like best about the product?
The feature we like the most is that it is serverless and does not require a complex setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to find a feature that is not useful when it comes to printer management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deploy printers to all users without the need to have them connected to our corporate network.

PrinterLogic is a great addition to our organization
What do you like best about the product?
PrinterLogic helps our end users easily add printers with no interaction needed by IT staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
Any changes made require the end user to click "Refresh configurations", which they may not know has to be done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We no longer have staff adding multiple, unnecessary printers to devices. This allows our IT staff to focus on more serious issues reported by end users.
Very simple and easy to configure, I just set it and forget it.
What do you like best about the product?
Once I have configured the service it just works and I don't have to think about it. Adding new printers is very easy and I love the cloud platform!
What do you dislike about the product?
I had some slowness when migrating from my on prem server to the cloud server. Some of the communication seemed to be slow and lagged as well as the instruction set on how to migrate successfully from an older on prem version. Once I understood the process it was easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The dependency on a print server in Windows which in my experience was chaos at times and any changes made were not pushed out as fast and caused issues and support tickets.

What do you like best about the product?
Printer Logic is simple and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the drivers don't work with Chromebooks
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowers our users to add the printers they need in a timely manner.
We use it for all of our printers. Makes it very easy to deploy any printer across the company.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of installing printers for end users. We also have it setup to generate reports monthly to track printing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not using it to its full potential. It would be nice if they offered their clients something like monthly video training or tricks and tips.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having to download drivers and full installs for each user everytime citrix resets a user profile.
It's been so easy to implement and manage printers over on-premise print servers of old.
What do you like best about the product?
Users can easily map to printers without contacting the HelpDesk.
What do you dislike about the product?
Keeping the print drivers up to date is difficult, and changes could have a negative impact on applications that print to them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
End users can find the printers they need without contacting the Helpdesk.
Changed a great product into a mediocre product.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to map out printer locations and push the drivers to computers based on AD security groups. It was a mostly seamless process and worked great for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
We absolutely did not want to switch to the cloud product. This endless desire for everything to be in the cloud confuses me. Because of this switch, we no longer license PrinterLogic and have moved to something else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, none as we cannot even login to the product we ran for over a decade. We require a print server for other products we maintain and Printerlogic removed themselves from our systems.

Centralized management of my printers, easy to deploy and troubleshoot

Not really dislike but the secure printing is not easy to use and setup

Ever since we use it, we don't have tickets related to printer installation.
Windows print servers caused lots of troubles. No troubles at all since deploying Printer Installer.

Deploying printers per AD group membership.
What do you dislike about the product?
none that come to my mind instantly. everything is working as expected

getting rid of printerservers and shared queues. no more time spent on troubleshooting these
Review of PrinterLogic SaaS System
What do you like best about the product?
The system easily integrates into our Active Directory and remotely accesses the system in a secure manner. I have all of my printer drivers in the system and deployments configured. All it takes is a few clicks and changes can be made to printers and rolled out seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really see any down sides to using the system as it has made the job of printer deployment one that I pretty much don't even think about any more. It is a program that is well worth the money in my opinion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we used to have a dedicated on-site file server that was strictly for the configuration and deployment of networked printers. We no longer need that server with the SaaS product that PrinterLogic has. It has cut down on maintenance and having to worry about yet another server's security needs. A few times our internal print server crashed and it took a long time to get things restored and back and up and running again; we no longer have to worry about that at all.
