Easy and accessible
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and very organized. Maintain X has helped us a lot with all our properties and work orders
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are double work orders and Maintain X doesn't allows to attach one to another.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All properties are organized and all the work orders are listed from hi to low
MaintainX has been great to work with and use to do our plant service maintenance.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ability to filter through all of our assets and work orders so that we can see very specific assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to send things off to be updated rather than being able to update them myself is kind of an inconvenience sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us keep track of all of our data and service across all plants across the country.
MaintainX Improved Our Uptime and Standardized Our PM System
What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX's asset metering has proved to be a huge benefit to our company. It has allowed me to utilize my maintenance team's PM inspection data to forecast and schedule large repairs. I have also been able to collect all hand-written procedures and vendor contact information and store them in one place so they can be shared among all members of my team. The customer support has always been fantastic. My representative works with me weekly to improve our system and help me implement MaintainX in other parts of our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
My company did not use a CMMS system prior to MaintainX. The cost of the licensing was a little hard to justify to plant management at first, but I believe it is showing its value now that it is in place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. MaintainX has replaced our paper-based PM system. We used to handle around 400 forms each month, with each one having to be created, printed, stapled, filled out, reviewed, and stored. All of that work has been removed in place of recurring digital work orders.
2. PM inspection data used to filled out manually onto paper forms with no plan on how to track it. With the asset metering system, I can now get instant feedback from WO's and track critical data points month to month.
3. My maintenance team used to depend on paper notes, mostly hand-written, hidden in their toolboxes for procedures on how to perform certain tasks. Those have since been digitized and applied to the necessary machines in MaintainX so they are available to everyone.
4. I used to depend on my buyer to keep track of vendor contact information. If anyone wanted to reach out to a vendor, they had to ask her to look through her sheets. All of this information has since been uploaded and is available to anyone.

MaintainX for Utility Data Collection and Storage
What do you like best about the product?
MX is an easy to use platform for collecting the same types of data frequently, i.e., meter readings. The app is simple to use, work orders are easy to create from templates and it works similarly across platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall the reporting features are weakest for utility needs. It's not easy or possible to sort out data from single meters or sites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MX took a decentralized data management and storage system and brought it all into one organized application.
Transformative with manageable learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
Powerful enough to manage complex workflows, yet intuitive enough for nearly anyone to pick up quickly. Support has been excellent throughout—from the initial implementation phase to integrating the system into our daily operations. They've been responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive in resolving any issues or questions that came up along the way. 4300 work orders complete and counting!
What do you dislike about the product?
Support has been excellent, and the system is reliable, though like any evolving platform, there are still a few areas where additional polish or deeper functionality would be welcome.

Keeping track of our work orders, purchases and keeping our staff accountable

Some companies find that MaintainX lacks native integrations with ERP systems, compatibilities, or IoT.

MaintainX has been a game changer
What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX is so simple to navigate. Work orders are easily created, assigned, and tracked, saving so much time and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not had any bad experiences with using MaintainX.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With managing more than 5000 apartment units, MaintainX has helped keep track and schedule all incoming work orders from start to finish.
Easy to Use, Effective CMMS
What do you like best about the product?
Maintainx is very user-friendly compared to many other main CMMS products in the industry. However, it's ease of use does not seem to reduce its efficacy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only aspect I would like to see is a way for requesters from the portal to be able to check the status of their requests. Or if portal requesters were able to get updates on the comments of their work orders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My organization current manages about 40 properties across the state of Virginia. We switched to Maintainx from an email/paper ticket system and the improvement has been drastic. This system allows us to not need to rely on archaic spreadsheets to keep up with PM schedules or SOPs related to inspections.
Construction Company Fleet Maintenance Management
What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX has been a key tool for our fleet maintenance management. MaintainX allows our mechanics to track maintenance on vehicles and equipment easily. They are on the go and need to access information on the fly. The program is user friendly and we were running it live in no time. With their great support team, we were able to bulk upload records and information with little to no manual entry. Highly recommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike about MaintainX. There are many features that we have not taken advantage of yet. I look forward to implementing more features!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accessing information in the field. Tracking maintenance, scheduling preventative maintenance, keeping our mechanics organized. This results in less calls from our mechanics to the office to dig up information on prior repairs. Our Superintendents know what the mechanics are working on or what has fallen through the cracks.
