Using MaintainX for the last 6 months
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very intuitive and user-friendly tool. They have a user training in digital format where users can complete at their own pace. Also, the mobile app is simple and great. Our technicians typically work in the field and do not have time to sit at the work station to document maintenance works. These features helped to engage our colleagues and complete the implementation very easily. The implementation phases were well-organized and structured. Throught the implementation, MatinainX team provided us with the full support. These were the main areas of concern when I was researching the right software for my colleagues. We are very satisfied.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I have not found any reasons to dislike about MaintainX :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company branches have busy operational routines. We need to produce food on time, and deliver them to our customers on time. To meet everyday's target, our facility's production assets and fleet assets are critical. When there is downtime of the assets, this can affect the seamless operation. Before implementing MaintainX, most of our colleagues were using excel list to track the maintenance works. Excel list is good for documentation history, but it does not provide real time data. The open work orders tend to be easily forgotten during the busy days. MaintainX software has active notifications through its mobile app. It alerts our colleagues at each stage until the work is done. The software also provides reporting function. As administrator, I can track the activities and completion rate regularly.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use stood out to me the most. I was able to deploy a basic configuration in hours, not days or weeks. When I had a question at 8pm on a Sunday, I got a reply from the chat representative in minutes with the information I was looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not see an option for User ID, only name phone number and Email. Import for anything besides assets (self serve) must be done by tech support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of reporting features in my current CMMS made me look into MaintainX. It has all the reports I need without creating custom reports in a 3rd party software.

What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX is a modern, slick interface that works really well for workflow management, inventory control, and work orders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the reporting options for maintainX are a work in progress and need more customizations available.

We use maintainX to manage and run our internal inventory and parts management system.
Excellent CMMS Software
What do you like best about the product?
One of the most helpful things about MaintainX is its intuitive user interface. Our company, like many peer companies, struggles to find skilled maintenance help. The younger generation isn't full of highly skilled maintenance techs. As such, we have an aging maintenance workforce. I thought moving to a CMMS was going to be difficult, however, because of how easy it is to use, the whole team uses it without any issues.
Implementation went very well. Their team is extremely supportive and responsive. Integrating our current practices and procedures into MaintainX has proven to be easier than expected. And the software has all the features you could want, and I have yet to discover all of them.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to find anything to be critical of with MaintainX. However, we are coming from a very primitive maintenance management process. This is our first CMMS, so I'm not sure how it stacks up against some of the competition. We tried a couple other free trials out and found MaintainX to be the best. One thing that I wish could be improved would be displaying assets in hierarchical fashion. That is a very small improvement that I think could help out the intuitiveness of the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem it is solving for our business is Enterprise Asset Management. We have not had great asset management. Our asset organization and digitization was primitive. It will also be extremely helpful in preventive maintenance management.
Easy User Interface
What do you like best about the product?
The interface with MaintainX is easy to use. Generating reports whether it be by creating your own or using the ones that come preset up are very user friendly. The creation of work orders and being able to classify them by category type is great. Teh people at MaintainX are very friendly and easy to work with. They are very interested in being sure that the system is working for you and very willing to help with any questions you may have.

What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside I have experienced would the cost to set up each maintanence technician with their own account when you have a large maintenance department. With that said, I do see us being able to eliminate one of our clerics as we become more familiar with the system. As of right now, we have been using MaintainX for about 4 months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us identify equipment that is requiring the most maintenance time due to downtime of equipment. The reporting features, not only identify asset reactionary downtime, but also show how much time is spent on planned maintenance and mean time to repair, along with a lot of other good information.
Effortless maintenance management
What do you like best about the product?
We are thrilled with how MaintainX has simplified our processes for handling tenant requests from over 80 commercial tenants and managing our preventative maintenance. The app is particularly impressive, making it easy for our maintenance technicians to report their time and perform regular inspections efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a property management company, we're missing a contact management module. This feature would be incredibly useful for sending announcements to all tenants in a specific building or on a specific floor. Adding this functionality would make the software even more comprehensive and valuable for our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MaintainX is solving the problem of time tracking for our field technicians. The app and timer make it very easy for them to manage their time effectively. It's also making it easier to manage work orders, keep track of time spent in each location or building, and monitor the workload in each building.

What do you like best about the product?
Love that I can see all of the work orders, assets, parts and I really love that once all of your assets are tagged. Anyone with a phone can read the QR codes and start a work order no more the spinny thingy is broken.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like the high priority work orders are visible I would like the 4 boxes on the main page (mobile) to be customizable.
For example high priority I like to see but I don't care about completed in the last 7 days I would rather see Med priority or certain sites that I am monitoring in that box that I set up

Preventive maintenance and part records it is easier to reorder parts.

What do you like best about the product?
that you get work orders in a timely manner and it keeps you busy all day with the next task ready to go.

Nothing so far. It has ran smoothly and been beneficial so far.

What do you like best about the product?
One of the best perks of MaintainX is the connection between all members across the plant, and the ability for managers, supervisors and maintenance alike to have one place that anyone who sees a problem can log that information, and then have a digital trail of how it got fixed, what tools were needed, parts necessary, and being able to take that and create future response plans. I use it daily as a Maintenance Mechanic and wouldn’t use another CMMS system again.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t personally had anything that stuck out to me, anything I’ve thought I had an issue with, resolved itself with further learning of the software. The one time I had an issue with a user level being set, contacting support was a simple, and quick process, and had my issue resolved within the hour with exactly who to contact in my chain, it was great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MaintainX has given our company a valuable and cohesive platform for employees across the entire plant communicate easily what issues have, or might arise on a day to day basis.it also works as a great program for delivering all the necessary parts lists, tools, and SOPs for any PMs, as well as allowing you to build your own detailed work orders, and build all the information into the system to continually gets learned or changed as procedures, machines, or parts change and grow.
