MaintainX is an excellent tool for me as a manager of two buildings. I highly recommend it.
What do you like best about the product?
The advantage of using MaintainX is the ability to organize and track work orders. Integration is very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like everything about MaintainX, it is an excellent tool and easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use MaintainX to create Work Orders, assign OT's to technical staff, and track repairs to complete technical repairs on two buildings.
Fires on all Cylinders
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly and customizable. This feature rich software is just what we needed. The preventative maintenance scheduling is key to our operation. We have so much mechanical equipment that keeping track of all required scheduled maintenance on each piece of equipment has become a bigger and bigger challenge. MaintainX is making that easier and easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I struggle to find anything I dislike with MaintainX. We have needed an organized and easy to use system to manage our maintenance tasks for many years. Now that we are back in charge of our equipment, we worry much less about those phone calls in the middle of the night...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MaintainX replaces the many clipboards and spreadsheets we used to use to track maintenance, and makes the management of maintenance staff tasks far more manageable.
Recent implementation of MaintainX has been a great experience!
What do you like best about the product?
We finally have a system to effectively track all of our maintenance needs and begin to focus on preventive maintenance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could link items on a purchase order to a specific work order or asset.

Tracking maintenance tasks, implementing a preventative maintenance plan, tracking costs associated with maintenance.
Organizing Tasks
What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX helps us maintain the health of our assets through maintenance reminders and health tracking which saves us time and money in the long run! The work orders help keep us on track and productive throughout the year.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that in the request portal, you could add new required information to fill out other than what is provided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MaintainX is allowing us to stay organized and prioritize our tasks. We have many different requests come up day in and day out, and with the ability for all staff to place a request, we can rely on all of the repairs and maintenance to be tracked in one place without being lost or forgotten!

The work flow is seamless and it is easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to alter certain features to fit within my organizations guidelines and procedures.

Keeping track of work performed on the assets and employee accountability.
Excellent resource for both maintenance and finance

The user experience is convenient. The feature for reporting is also helpful as someone who relies on the this data.

The inventory extracts are confusing to follow.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform allows for streamlining of workflow, not just with things related to maintenance, but lots of different processes can be added. For example, we use it for tracking work orders related to construction projects and it's great. Once set up, it's easy for users and is set up so that frequently used processes are quickly accessible. Customer support has been prompt and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything yet that I dislike.

MaintainX has allowed us to create one spot for work orders that is visible to any and all project stakeholders. We have used it as a way to document evidence of work completed, site conditions, communications, and all things related to projects.

That said, the purchase order feature is less useful for larger organizations, as many of these firms already rely on dedicated accounting and procurement systems. Integration or flexibility in this area could improve value for enterprise users.

What do you like best about the product?
Keep me organized with all the maintenance of all the equipment in my office, and also able to schedule maintenance so I don't miss them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The purchase module is only for parts, and it cannot be used for equipment purchases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to schedule daily and monthly equipment maintenance with instructions.
