What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX is a modern clean system. The ease of use is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not a single complaint. The team and system is great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The system is making it possible to move into the modern CMMS system. Our team is now able to operate from all systems including app based, this increases effieciency and accuracy of data being entered into the system.
The easiest software package I have ever onboarded
What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX is an incredibly user friendly CMMS application. No efforts seem to have been spared to make the ease of use second to none. Multiple users I have setup as work order requestors were able to use the program instantly on day one with little or no training, and most had a firm grasp on the software prior to their scheduled training time. The fact that in Enterprse mode, PM's, inspections, and work order procedures can be drafted and then cascaded to multiple sites with absolutely no drift in information and requirements has a value that is almost impossible to quantify.
The support I received from my account manager early on the process when we were exloring if the paltform would be a good fit for our business was incredibly helpful and sold me on the implementation nearly on day one. Integration was nearly seemless as we had a dedicated integration specialist to work with every step of the way.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not all items and configurations are mirrored towards reliabiltiy excellence terminology, but that aside, I have no negative remarks to make.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I originally had 17 sites all performing maintenance activities in a non-standardized manner and there was a great need for standardization, not only in how work was performed, but how it was executed and measured also. MaintainX has allowed us to implement uniformity in the fastest way I have ever experienced.
Great Introduction and Training
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of Implemtation and support given during the implemtation period. Being able to control the maintanince program and see reports easily.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing has not been what I require. Every thing has been smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowledge of what Maintenace is done and the ability to track what is required. Also gives staff the ability to request maintenance to be done in a visable and open platform.

I would like there to be a few more viewing options, especially on the app.

There are no "miles" for assets, just hours, It's barely geared toward vehicles

What do you like best about the product?
Maintainx has been an amazing tool in creating a preventative maintenance department for our company and tracking which of our machines require the most time and money to keep running. before using Maintainx we had no formal maintenace set up and would only repair machines when they broke down in the field, instead of getting ahead of preventable issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I've had is there are so many options for setting up scheduled work that we don't have the man power to keep up with all the possible maintenance we could be doing!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a scheduled preventative maintenace program, tracking assets/repairs, setting up parts inventory. All of these things have allowed us to start focusing on getting ahead of machines breaking down in the field and significantly reducing downtime by tracking which parts we are frequently using and keeping a stock of them instead of waiting 3-5 weeks for parts to come in.
Smooth transition and great support
What do you like best about the product?
We are in the process of transitioning our CMMS system to Maintain X! I can't say enough of the customer support we have received. The system is very easy to use and understand, I started the set up without even looking at the instruction. To ease our integration they uploaded the info for us. I love the features and reporting functions. So far it has been a great experience, nothing like we had in the past. I look forward to have the full implementation and seeing how it will work for us to make us more efficient in providing our maintenance services to our community residents.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It will solve our tracking, prioritizing and follow up issues on our work orders, and allow us to do much customized reporting.
Has brought organization to a once cluttered piece of our business.
What do you like best about the product?
The collaboration of multiple users is super useful, as the majority of our employees are remote and not in a central location. This enables us to keep track of our assets, even when we don't see them daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would've liked to have seen the onboarding of MaintainX be a little more organized and strict. Too much of it was left up to our team (the users) and when that happens, it just doesn't get prioritized like it should. I think we would've used it much faster had the MX team been more assertive with the onboarding and training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to get a longer useful like out of our assets thanks to MaintainX's ability to schedule preventative maintenance work orders and reminders. While cumbersome on the front end, its a game changer on the back end! Its also been useful to share with our customers that we're utilizing MaintainX to always have well maintained equipment on their facilities as much as possible.
Establishing a CMMS program should be this easy!
What do you like best about the product?
Like any CMMS system, it takes a considerable amount of data entry to start building a system. It is literally the snapshot in time of your organization. It is an immense amount of info. The staff at MaintainX made the process easy. Fill out a spreadsheet with as much information as you can and send it over. They do all the heavy lifting entering multiples of assets. Once you create a basic framework you can establish procedures for all the periodic maintenance and assign it. Build your teams with your people and hand the work orders virtually to them. Allow the system to track intervals, costs, and time. The creating of work orders on the fly is simple. I do recomment getting some tablets for the maintenance staff to utilize. They are the front line of the facilities staff. Allow them to record issues as they are seen. If necessary the admin of the account can clean them up and assign them as needed. The software sends notifications to the phones if the apps are installed. The support from the implementation team is fantastic. It made a daunting task into one that was simple and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, we have not found anything we dislike. Make sure to allow your team enough time to watch the videos and also to play with the app and create sample work orders and tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We operate a growing nursery. The sheer amount of parts in this organization is immense. There are 350 acres full of growing area. Everything from roof maintenance, to greenhouse curtain motors to pumps and piping. We have so many items that require periodic, constant maintenance that there is no way to keep a spreadsheet of things and stay caught up. Our goal in initiating this CMMS system is to stay as current as we can on the maintenance while at the same time staying ahead of the special projects, capital improvements, and reactive repairs.
Too Good To Be True
What do you like best about the product?
Two things:
1. Instant customer service. No, really. For quick questions I just use the chat. If the bot can't help (it usually can) a live person is connected instantly. You even get assigned an account manager that will email/zoom with you for anything else you may need.
2. The OpenAI powered procedure generator. Attach your pre-existing checklist/PM procedure, prompt it any way you want (e.g. Add a field with photos titled "Photos of Deficiencies (if any) at the end of the procedure but before the Additional Comments section), and it will do exactly that. You can even tell it to refer to specific columns on your pre-existing spreadsheet and it will know exactly what you're talking about. In short, talk to it as you would a human and it will do exactly that.

No downsides that I can think of. Only features that would be nice to see such as a "Project Timeline" with phases that can be attached to the "Project" work orders.

PMs, inspection checklists, projects, vendors, assets, and POs were previously tracked and created in a dozen different spreadsheets. Everything is now consolidated in one place.
