Great Product combined with Great Services
What do you like best about the product?
They really tailor the product to your companies needs. The support could not be beat. When you get an apolgy email because an answer took 30 minutes... I am HAPPY! AND in the that time they had already fixed my issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to get 5 users in order to get the onboarding service... which was a bit more than we wanted to start. But already we are seeing the value, so it should equal out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When our technicians were on site we didn't know what was happening unless we called and possibly bothered them. With MaintainX they are uploading videos and photos quickly and easily and we are getting real time updates.
MaintainX has entirely changed our maintenance routines for the better.
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature of MX is the requests feature. Allowing my requesters to see the progress and changes made to their work request in real time has been a blessing for my team. Between this aspect and the mobile app's portability we've significantly reduced "desk time" and gained more time on the floor making repairs and improvements.
But I have a special place in my heart for the powerful procedure tools, and the dev team keeps bringing new features to the table all the time. Getting started is easy, and learning more from the customer support team or the extensive training library made integrating MX into our existing workflow much smoother than it could've been.
I now use MaintainX so often that I'll sometimes go days without having to write anything in my notebook.

What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike. I'd like to be able to track certain characteristics other than numerical meters for an asset and have them displayed in the asset details area. Some of our procedures get a little creative, but altogether maintainx has been a powerful tool for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Requesting work and tracking it's completion has been our first boon, but I can see benefits from inventory tracking and recurring work orders on the horizon. I am watching this tool slowly shift management toward a morepreventive maintenance mindset, and I'm excited to see how much we'll continue to benefit from it.
Great and very easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use, even for technical staff. It has many features and is very customizable. Customer support is always there when you need them!
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if some roles were a bit more simple, like the limited access one for technical staff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We would use many excel spreadsheets and we would have to call every technician to tell them what to do. This aromatized our process and made it more efficient.

It has moved us from paper to digital and it conveys all the important information real time.
CMMS Review
What do you like best about the product?
The tech support team is always available and responds with resolutions and support promptly. They have very minimal DT of the servers which helps keep things running smooth on our end! Much appreciated for all the support

There really is no downside, it's very well designed and extremely user friendly. It has many features and easy to implement new things on a regular basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us understand our downtime areas that need addressed to establish a preventative maintenance schedule
Ease of implementation and user interface
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is very intuitive and has allowed me to easily train even the most tech resistant members of our staff. The implementation was very smooth. Our rep provided the implementation spreadsheet which allowed me to clearly define our needs and easily convert the data pulled from our prior system.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some custom reports that were readily available in our prior system which are not in MaintainX. Additionally, the reporting tab is focused solely on work orders. It would be helpful if there were more reporting options on the assets themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We combined the tracking of our quality assets and tools with the maintenance system with MaintainX. The prior system for quality was local to a very old computer which made it difficult and added waste into our process in the form of steps and time to record changes and movements. MaintainX, as it is web-based, has allowed us to streamline that process and make changes in the field using phones or tablets. Additionally, the maintenance staff is able to utlize tablets with them while performing work so that they can follow procedures, enter values, and record repairs in real time.
Most user friendly CMMS I have used in 28 years of Maintenance
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely user friendly with a great user interface. I have used many, many CMMS in my career, and this is by far the most convenient and easy to navigate. Data analysis is quick and efficient. Customer support is top notch, every time!
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much not to like. I would like the ability to archive completed work orders so they don't have to be filtered out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accuracy in labor hours utilized for maintenance, Preventive Maintenance completion rates, maintenance efficiency.
Game Changing Software!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to review all work orders to help anyalyze data and is perfect for record keeping come audit time.
What do you dislike about the product?
No issues with anything thus far! I will update review accordingly if anything changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing us to analyze how long it takes to perform tasks. Know how long a particular part lasts. All work orders are in one organized place rather than paper's being unorganized, lost or thrown away.

Amazing implementation process
What do you like best about the product?
The software is very intuitive, up to date, and easy to use. It allows for custom fields to be links, drop-down boxes, etc.
The implementation specialist was fantastic, helping with each request and transfer of data we made. He was extremely responsive as he helped us transfer our existing data. I am very thankful we signed up for the extra implementation services package when we moved from our current system of operations. Working with Maintain X was a truly positive experience!

What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing I would dislike is that for bulk editing of assets, they have to do it for you. This can save you time, but you don't have the freedom you may wish for. You can bulk edit work orders.
