User friendly with very strong analytics to match.
What do you like best about the product?
The end-user interface is the best I have ever used. The process flows they have in place make ordering parts and creating work requests a breeze. The app makes it easy for technicians to fill out work orders with detailed information. The reporting software is very powerful, allowing us to trend work and analyze work history. Customer support is always available to help with any questions or needs.
Integrating the system with Power BI for more customized reports is extremely easy and takes only a few moments.
The entire maintenance department uses the system all day, every day. It was very easy to get them to switch over from our old system when we implemented it, thanks to the app’s straightforward, no-nonsense design.

What do you dislike about the product?
With the freedom to customize the system to fit you needs makes it easy to get data entered wrong if you are not careful. more customizable permissions for users would help a great deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking the work our technicians did every day was almost impossible before we got MaintainX. Now, with just a few clicks, we can see how many hours they recorded for their shift and what they worked on.

Takes a while to get acclimated but simple afterwards.
What do you like best about the product?
The mobile app makes it easy to complete work orders on the go. I use the desktop app mostyl but when I travel to the field, the mobile app helps to stay on top of work orders.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not a way to easily create a Log, other than creating a work order. Sometimes we just need to note something significant that is not a work order just an important event.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our industry requires us to maintain accurate and detailed records. Maintainx helps us automate recurring instrument calibration, machine maintenance and employee training.
Great software
What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX is amazing software that really streamlines tracking and maintaining equipment assets and parts. MaintainX also makesit easy to track, update and maintain work orders which greatly facilitate in the upkeep of our assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything I don't like about MaintainX.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By streamlining the process for work orders, parts tracking, asset managment, MaintainX has greatly inhanced our ability to focus on what needs to get done due to the ease of keeping the records straight.
Using Maintain X for Engineering Request - beyond facilities
What do you like best about the product?
The customization is one of the main reasons why our company chose MaintainX
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to increase the flexibility with Status and maybe the feedback looping if a secondary task occurs or a delay in the task occurs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One communication portal that all can see. We are working to eliminate the sole information protocol where people get an email and it is one person in the know.
A handy tool
What do you like best about the product?
With MaintainX we are able to streamline our operations and inventory by having everything consolidated into one system. This makes tracking and planning easy. I use this system everyday.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of yet MaintainX doesn't offer reporting to assist with cycle counts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using MaintainX we are better able to track machine downtime and parts usage thereby streamlining the processes involved in asset maintanace, acquiring parts and time management of mechanics and production.
Clean modern design for handheld devices
What do you like best about the product?
The software was written for use on a handheld device. As my technicians spend all day on their phones in the field, it simply works for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the fields from work orders to purchase orders glitch some times, not a big deal, their engieers are working on cleaning up some of those issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MaintainX is connecting all of my 50+ operating locations giving me a clear picture of what we have going on in the field, who is doing what, and what is not happening that should be happening.

A smooth eye candy GUI that makes cmms interesting and fun

Not being able to change some features on my own. needs more end user tools.

continuity, productivity and alighnment in work place processes
MaintainX has simplified our daily maintenance activities.
What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX has helped organize our reactive and preventive maintenance activities. We have been able to standardize all work orders for better analysis and reporting. Features such as "Asset Health has given us more reliable data to help reduce our unplanned downtime.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our maintenance department has no complaints about MaintainX. However, we would like to see a little more indepth reporting for parts management such as the ability to track price changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using MaintainX we were stuggling to see accurate data related to equipment downtime cost. With MaintainX we are able to have a clear understanding of how long our equipment is down for repair and the price associated with that.

What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX entries, workorders, PM creations are intuitive for users, and provide simple yet detailed information for maintenance managers to track and improve their maintenance programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far , the parts management side of maintainX has been slow to integrate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
scheduling PM activities for my team, escalating findings during PMs, and food safety verification of repairs and PMs
