    Medical Devices

Very User-Friendly and Intuitive Experience with MaintainX

What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX is VERY user friendly! You don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand how to use MaintainX, it is very intuitive to use.
It took a very short time for us to implement and get going.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside, for me, is the fact that there is no long term visual for workorders on the calendar. I would like to see a workorder show visually (like a diminishing "bar" for as long as the W.O. is open, until it's due date.)
Say, the workorder is a month long. From the start date to the due date, there would be a bar that diminishes and maybe changes color as you get closer to the due date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had NO workorder management system in place before MaintainX, so this is a HUGE upgrade for us.
We have solved W.O. communication issues. We use MaintainX to control some inventory stock, while using the QR code system.

It's easy to move through the program areas and not have any trouble

I haven't had any issues with it yet with any of the screens

Being able to back date work order closer date so it's does show overdue when reopened

What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX is extremely easy to understand and navigate - unlike legacy EAP systems with EAM modules added. I
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little about MaintainX to dislike. If I am being critical, there are just some minor "logistic" issues within the software, like not being able to add custom fields to a request portal without those fields also being added to work order entry. However, the MaintainX team is very responsive and constantly driving evolution of the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Baseline data for asset health, and the ability to build data for cost-prohibition, notes to refer to for the last time we encountered a similar issue.

Unable to get MTTR / MTBF without having an Enterprise Account

Provided a simple solution for company's CMMS needs. Easy to upload and manage assets.

Incredibly Easy to Use

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is, its easy to get overview of my mechanic shop, also see how much they are doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Of course it takes few minutes per workorder, and it is extra work that i did not have before but its all worth it in the end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped us having maintenance history of our cars/trucks/machines.

Much Easier to Use and Navigate Than EAM

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Coming from a CMMS called EAM it is much easier to use and navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no downsides off the top of my head.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The use of automatically generated QR codes for spare part inventory is definitely a feature that makes inventory and restocking much easier than past programs I have used.

What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX is very user-friendly and easy to implement across teams. The mobile accessibility makes it simple for frontline employees and maintenance staff to complete work orders in real time. I especially like the ability to track preventive maintenance schedules, assign tasks, and document issues with photos. It improves accountability and provides better visibility into maintenance history, which is helpful for audits and compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the system is straightforward, some reporting features feel limited without upgrading to higher-tier plans. Customization options for more complex workflows can also be somewhat restrictive. Additionally, if team members are not consistent about updating work orders, the system relies heavily on user discipline to stay accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MaintainX is solving the problem of inconsistent maintenance tracking and lack of visibility into work orders. Before using it, tasks were often tracked through emails, verbal communication, or spreadsheets, which made it difficult to ensure accountability and follow-up.

What do you like best about the product?
Maintenance systems help me manage daily priorities by giving clear visibility into assets, people, and performance. They allow me to track KPIs, verify preventive maintenance completion, and make informed business decisions instead of reactive ones. Having everything organized in one place has made my role significantly more efficient — improving accountability, planning, and overall operational control.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest frustrations are around recording consistency and mobile functionality. I rely heavily on accurate data to manage KPIs and asset health, and right now the recording side could be stronger. Also, the mobile app doesn’t always show the same information as the desktop version, which limits how effective I can be when I’m out with the team instead of at my desk.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest value Maintainx brings to our operation is clear, concise visibility into our assets, preventive maintenance, work orders, and daily task management. It allows us to accurately track labor time, improve accountability, and establish structured guidelines that help our team complete projects more efficiently and consistently.
