Accurate and Effortless to Use
What do you like best about the product?
The accuracy and how easy it is to use I like it

Easy to Use for Technicians, But Bulk Editing and Permissions Need Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
It’s an easy platform to read especially for my technicians. I can move fast through it being easy to read myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that I cannot make mass changes to a category of work orders. Historically I have been able to run a script to make bulk changes all at once. The system operates in a way that costs me additional time and labor to accomplish some of the work I need to do at times. I also really dislike how the permissions are set for leadership in the system. I also understand this is a dollar general choice and not a MaintainX choice. Reporting out of MaintainX is misleading for two reasons. One we are not doing everything the same from one site to another and two, if a work order isn’t completed the next work order will not generate. This allows for a site to show a good completion percentage even when the could have multiple work orders that were never created on schedule because the prior work order was never completed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is supposed to be standardizing what we do as a network and how we do it. I do not think it is successful as it could be in this regard. We should have built one site and copied it to every other site in the same category. Then our work orders would all look and read the same, times would the same, frequency would be the same and so on. Because we don’t do it this way the reporting is skewed and isn’t really an apples to apples comparison form one building to another.
Simple, Customizable, and Fully Featured
What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX is simple and customizeable while being fully featured
What do you dislike about the product?
Less Admin tools for power users, I would like things like email input for workflows
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Long sign in processes for other ticketing systems prevents our maintenance team from keeping up on tracking. MaintainX doesn't have that problem.
Effortless Maintenance Scheduling and Real-Time Accountability
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to keep up with regular maintenance on a scheduled basis, but also track and hold people accountable to emergency repairs in real time. The app is easy for our teams to use and keeps them engaged. Their support team has been helpful along the way, even helping by allowing us to test features that aren't released yet.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of inventory features available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability for company leaders to see in real time how the maintenance of each facility is being performed on a standard, day to day basis.
User-Friendly Interface That Boosts Team Accountability
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing so far is the user-friendly interface is simple enough for all of my associates, no matter the computer skill level, are able to figure it out. It's easy to make expectations clear and keep people accountable for their work. Everyone was hesitant of implementing a new system, but I have received primarily positive feedback so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the reporting features were more tailored to our current KPIs. We have the ability to modify KPIs to match the current capabilities, but it would have made the transition to a new system much easier if it were 1:1.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I recently came to a new department and have structured the PM program from the ground up. It wouldn't have been possible without MaintainX templates. Now that the structure is set, I'm able to focus on improvements and ensuring that all areas of my new department have equal visability.

Exceptionally User-Friendly Maintenance Software
What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX is very user-friendly, which was essential for us because some of our staff are not particularly tech-savvy. We needed software that was simple and intuitive, and MaintainX met that need. The implementation process was also excellent—the team made everything straightforward and accommodated our frequent schedule changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to hide work orders from the other departments using it (I believe this might be the plan we're on which causes us to be unable to do this). Other than that, there is nothing i dislike about the software up to this point. This is the first maintenance software in our department and it definitely has set a high standard!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MaintainX has helped our department become more data-driven and significantly reduce our reliance on paper.
Exceptionally User-Friendly and Flexible CMMS with Real-Time Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
I would say that MaintainX is extremely user-friendly, regardless of your previous experience with other CMMS systems. One of the biggest advantages is having it available across all devices - phone, tablet, or laptop. The ability to access it online through a web page adds great flexibility, allowing you to retrieve information without any obstacles. Another major benefit is real-time tracking. Seeing live data with timestamps and updates provides full visibility into work orders and assets, which is a game-changer for managing operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I don’t have any negatives to share. The only note is that some features were not available at launch, but the team is very open to feedback and actively develops new functionality based on user requests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From an implementation perspective, MaintainX has allowed us to standardize procedures and work orders across all 40 sites, ensuring consistency throughout the network. The reporting tools are excellent - giving us access to metrics like time utilization, MTTR, MTBF, OEE, and PM vs RM across all locations. This visibility helps us identify areas that need improvement and take corrective action.
Inventory management is another strong point. Being able to view parts availability across facilities and easily request transfers is incredibly useful. For daily operations, I can create work orders with priority levels (high, medium, low), track them, and monitor workload views to see labor utilization by technician or schedule compliance by day, week, or month.

Effortless Data Management in an Intuitive CMMS
What do you like best about the product?
Getting great data in an easy to use CMMS.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting can be difficult to use if you want a more custom report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are newer to use but we are seeing better data and procedures being created. Saving time entering breakdowns, PM's, and workorders.

What do you like best about the product?
MaintainX is very easy to use and learn. Implementation process was smooth. The system has a lot of capability in terms of work order & asset tracking, reporting, PM creation & tracking. The AI ability is the best I have seen in a CMMS so far. Customer support and assistance has been great also.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some interface layout and filtering options we would like to see changed or added. Specifically with filtering of the calendar view for work orders. Also, time tracking of Mechanics/Electricians. It would be nice to be able to backdate time and assign dates to the time charged specifically for OT tracking etc.
