- Real-time threats in support to many functions: From emergency, crisis to supply chain, to executive protection.

Currently, nothing at the moment. However, if any issues arise, I know Dataminr would be there to assist.

What do you like best about the product?
This tool provides quality customized alert options for our various sites to stay situationally aware of things that could impact the safety or continuity of our business
What do you dislike about the product?
We are still fairly new users of the system so are working to adjust our alerts for relevance, which does take some getting use to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dataminr allows for proactive notifications as opposed to reactive based on what we see on local and national news as well as other sources. Our team has been aware of incidents occurring around our sites ahead of employees or others asking us about them which is a large benefit.

What do you like best about the product?
Experience with Dataminr has been overwhelmingly positive. From using the application daily to the customer service representatives - they deliver excellent work each time. The real-time alerts on incidents near and far have been the pinnacle to the success of this product. The company has the most helpful employees, and working with them is just one e-mail/ call away—no hassle when you want to learn how to use the product. The product gets even better when you're an expert user, so fun learning all the way through. The resources are there, and once you get started, you won't want to stop—the global real-time alerts you need, when you need them (now). The leadership and growth this company has shown are phenomenal. As a long-time user, seeing the product updated to where it's at now means there were so many hard-working people - with a great vision behind this beautiful product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Good luck finding something to dislike. The company seems to be evolving every month. Just look at their app update history, and you'll see that they push out an update every month (sometimes even twice a one month). Just this alone shows they strive for perfection. They meet quality rather than quantity. Ask me a year ago, and I would probably say at first that the volume of information was a bit overboard. Still, when you review the notifications you don't need, look at the category and go back to the settings and uncheck the box - then you won't be bombarded with unnecessary information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This product has been a godsend—all the real-time (as well as historical) data at our fingertips. Most benefits come when crucial information needs collection on an event or incident in real-time. This product would be great for not only security but any company that would require data right now. Imagine when this product tells you things that are happening minutes or even hours before the local news stations report it on Television. You'd need to be glued to your phone on social media or elsewhere before you get the data you need, but with Dataminr - it's real-time alerts. This benefit alone is what makes them remarkable as a company. They know their product, and it delivers what's needed when it's needed.

Dataminir is a force multiplier; as our staff has decreased the amount of requirements has increased.

What do you like best about the product?
RT alert quality and reporting style all customized and specific to your interests and physical asset locations. Ability to track certain stories, and create daily digests summarizing key developments specific to your interests. Also phenomenal customer service!!! Available and eager to help with any question at any time. Also offer tutorial videos through platform around big events and issues and how best to customize a feed to track those issues. Videos are short, succinct, clear and to the point.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of ability to save past topic lists and advanced custom feeds, as well as share with other users at your organization. Also lack of analytic capabilities available to deduce larger picture analysis, themes, and narratives occurring around topics of interest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps monitor both physical security risks near to our people, places and other business interests, as well as broader reputational risks that may be on the horizon so that our team can get ahead of it rather than respond in the aftermath.

You can track any incidents, and identify threat streams.

What do you like best about the product?
Dataminr is an excellent tool for any security operations center. The platform is very user-friendly. Once the desired settings are in place, the notifications definitely have the edge in terms of immediate information gathering. The Dataminr team also provides excellent customer service to ensure the end-user tool is customized to suits individual needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to be able to customize the Daily Digest alerts. For example, if I want to break those out by region (i.e. US Domestic vs International) that would present a more organized Digest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Geofencing key locations and events for incident monitoring. Also, in terms of general crisis event management, the immediate notifications bring an awareness to situations usually well before the news media can post it. This is vital for employee duty of care.
