What do you like best about the product?
I use GraphQL for querying data and monitoring applications. It provides a flexible way to request exactly the information I need, which makes managing and observing app data more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, after data is ingested, I am not able to query it properly for metrics, logs, or replays.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool provides effective front-end monitoring, capturing JavaScript errors, AJAX requests, and web vitals. It helps me keep track of important metrics and issues that can affect user experience on the site.

What do you like best about the product?
New Relic has a huge number of features that help with monitoring the environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
I observed some limitations with the IBM MQ integration, particularly when handling a large volume of data. The system restricted the number of queue managers that appeared on the dashboard, which caused some issues for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New is providing alerts for Performance/Synthetics and Errors in the logs, which enables us to quickly identify and address issues as they arise.

The platform has a learning curve, especially when using advanced features like distributed tracing and custom dashboards, which can require additional training for new users. The pricing model is sometimes confusing, with separate charges for different modules and data limits, so it’s important to monitor usage and understand the billing details. Documentation updates can lag behind new feature releases, leading to occasional onboarding challenges.

What do you like best about the product?
The dashboards are excellent real-time observability across applications, infrastructure, logs and traces all in one unified platform makes diagnosing issue much faster.
Alerting system is robust and proactive, when something goes wrong or a metric crosses a threshold, I get notified quickly, which helps prevent downtime.
Deep integration works well with many languages, cloud services, and platforms which is helpful in polyglot environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve is steep for new users, especially those without deep experience in observability or monitoring tools, it can be overwhelming to set up all the agents, decide what metrics to collect, build dashboards.
As usage grows (more hosts, more data ingested , more retention), the cost can escalate and pricing tiers or billing can become confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New Relic helps us monitor our entire application and infrastructure in real time.
It quickly alerts us when something goes wrong like a sudden spike in errors or slow response times, so we can fix issue before users are affected.
It also gives deep insights into performance bottlenecks, database queries and API latency, which helps our team optimize code and improve system reliability.
overall, it saves us hours in troubleshooting and makes our apps run smoother and faster.

The best thing about new relic is its real time monitoring and detailed analysis and alerting system which comes under a single dashboard made easy to use and reliable.

For small business company the pricing is little expensive and as a beginner it is to complex and overwhelmed to handle.

Excellent App Monitoring Tool

What do you like best about the product?
The ruby agent we use in our application collects useful traces, and the configurability of the agent as a whole allow us to ID and highlight errors or issues we observe. The web UI performance is acceptable, and allows us to view traces/transactions and aggregate data in useful ways for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, the tool is excellent, and the price reflects its dominance. I wish it was an easier sell internally to continue with NR because periodically it comes up in our cost saving discussions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New Relic gives us excellent observability to our application and behavior. The alerting helps us ID issues as they occur and respond to them in a timely fashion.
