Maze is a great app for User Testing
What do you like best about the product?
As a UX UI Designer it helps me with our weekly Surveys , AB Testing and UserTests and also interviews with final users. It's easy to use, I love the way it show the results and the flexibility that gave us as a design team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well I don't dislike. I really love it, something you can improve: the text in some textarea fields are hard to include when I copy/paste my texts...sometimes it gets like crazy (don't let me move my cursor over the text and then when I write it delete the characters)...maybe is a bug. I noticed that 2 people can be at the same time editing the UserTest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to test my designs very quickly, allowing my product manager to make the best decisions by our research process to make great products.
Great for remote unmoderated user research, both qualitative and quantitative, needs to keep evolving
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to set up, there is multiple options and types os studies. Its reports are great too.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needs more customization capabilities; copying and iterating tests flow is not that good; I would like to share the test with people not registered in Maze before putting it live. Axure support should be a must for them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AI research, perception tests, usability test, qualitative insights gathering.
Service very easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of creating a usability test is very high. It is quite intuitive to drag the blocks to create the test script.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to use the variants in Figma. I still find the prototyping experience a bit rough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease in sending the test and collecting data to bring opportunities in the product.
A must have for UX professionals
What do you like best about the product?
Maze is an essential part of my work as UX & UI designer, and the best tool I have found up to now for all things related to usability testing and product discovery. Importing prototypes from Figma works flawlessly, task creation UI is fast and intuitive and the results view displays clearly the relevant information and saves a lot of time that should be otherwise spent on data analysis. I also appreciate the possibility of creating a test report, which I can download and share with stakeholders without worrying about creating a bespoke presentation and graphs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The results view could be clearer in some descriptions, it's not easy for a newcomer to understand some of the sections (for example, the difference between metrics displayed in each task results view vs the report).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Maze to test every UI I create and to gather insight into user behavior, and to create useful reports that I can show to stakeholders. The biggest benefit for me is the time saved on the whole usability testing and data analysis process.
Versatile tool to set up user research
What do you like best about the product?
I like the functionality of Maze; it's easy to set up a survey. The tools that you have are easily accessible. You don't have to browse endlessly in sub-menus to find everything. Overall I also like the brand experience, Maze looks very clean and modern; this helps in my opinion to let focus the test participants on the task at hand.
An big advantage of Maze is that you can create tests with digital prototypes. By importing a Figma file and assigning the users flow, you are done within a couple of minutes with setting up your test.
Maze also offers a variety off templates for your surveys, this gives a lot of inspiration.

What do you dislike about the product?
I understand that you can not make changes to a survey once it is published, but this is something I had to get used to. Before this, we used Google Forms, the surveys there you can constantly update (of course, this makes the data less clear), which I didn't do often, but it gave a feeling of control.
Sometimes I struggle with getting overview when looking at the results, if you have a lot of similar questions (for example; 'why did you give this answer' after a multiple choise question).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before, with Google Forms, I had no way to set up quick tests with prototypes I built in Figma. With Maze, it's pretty easy to create a clickable test that you can send out to your users. In this way, I was able to get insights on the UX and UI of a new feature within 24 hours.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Maze is easy to learn. I created my first maze by looking at templates that are offered by Maze, this gave me enough inspiration to create my first surveys.
Product manager
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is very intuitive and fast to use. Insights and reports (such as the heat map) are helpful to validate your ideas. It will save you a lot of time to iterate faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maze has some areas of improvement for testing mobile prototypes. For the moment, it works better on a desktop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Validating a solution thanks to a simple Figma prototype before developing it.
Maze saves a lot of time AND money.

Amazing
What do you like best about the product?
I love how the data and test results are displayed when performing a mission
What do you dislike about the product?
The first click option could be integrated. The current card sorting is very limited and data that it offers as well. I have had some technical problems where the software has thrown me from the company team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Too many of us validate all of our hypotheses through missions. We also use surveys for discoveries (they could integrate more question forms like dropdown or nps) It has solved our lives during the pandemic
Recommendations to others considering the product:
- Support in Spanish for Latin America
Super quick and simple way to collect design feedback
What do you like best about the product?
The seamless integration with Figma and the preview option to check what the tester will experience
What do you dislike about the product?
I am running into some limitations now due to the free plan I use so now I need to talk to my boss to get a professional license ;-)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am testing the design of a new app, since I am the only UX designer, moderated usability tests take a lot of time and efforts. Although I do not entirely skip moderated testing, a Maze allows you to quickly build a test and collect feedback from many more participants.
Easy to use and we were able to get a lot of insights
What do you like best about the product?
Letting the user interact with figma propotype and analysing it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see text input, just like in quant-ux
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Usability problems. understanding very quickly how your prototype is performing
Very good and complete tool for usability testing.
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard were I can review the results and were the users made mistakes, the tools set is very complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the interface, to light and the elements are too big, making hard to read the dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving problems in the interfaces I draw.
