Soc 2 Type made easy with Akitra
What do you like best about the product?
The templates for pretty much all the policies that were required - easily customiseable. The Andromeda tool that made monitoring and reporting a breeze
What do you dislike about the product?
We lost some momentum in the middle - may be we could have avoided that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOC 2 TYPE 2 compliance - which requires several controls to be in place - automated monitoring and reporting of these
Seamless experience on ISO27001 certification
What do you like best about the product?
Their inhouse software provided us information to see which one of our employees' laptops were not compliant with future certification requirements. We were able to make the necessary investments to ensure the safety integrity that we offer to our clients. The Akitra team was also knowledgeable and helpful when answering our 1000 questions to make sure we felt at ease and guided us through the whole process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, we experienced an outdated version when we first installed Andromeda and this caused the whole team to reinstall the software. However, once we get it running, it worked like a charm.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our industry, being certified is a must. The ISO27001 certification we received, provides our many different customers peace of mind knowing we are certified and are following a trusted set of rules and guidelines to erradicate security threats.

What do you like best about the product?
The entire Akitra team was very helpful, and they provided us guidance throughout the entire process.
The Andromeda compliance platform provided us out of the box templates and details about all required policies, controls and evidences which helped us prepare for the compliance audit.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike. I think improving the notification system will help with quick remediation of compliance issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Akitra Andromeda Compliance is helping us with obtaining SOC-2 certification. Customer data security and protection is key for our business and creating the right processes to safeguard that, gives our customer peace of mind.

The Akitra andromeda platform made it easy for us to quickly ramp up to the requirments for our compliance needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing particular to dislike about Akitra, but the andromeda UI and UX can be improved not very intuitive.

Helpful for companies to quickly ramp up and get ready for any security compliance audits, the experience is very seamless and there's a lot of help provided from their end.
Smooth Experience to obtain a SOC-2 Compliance for an early stage startup
What do you like best about the product?
Akitra is extremely well documented on the different steps, policies that are needed towards obtaining SOC-2 compliance. They are available to provide any kind of help at short notice.
What I loved the most was that there are policy templates for almost all the 50-odd policies that an org needs to have and the templates help you get the job done real quick!

- Intuitive notification system on what are the actionable steps towards compliance for a particular integration
- Integrating with a ticketing system on the different actions that need to be done would help quite a bit

Great platform to drive security compliance for early startups
What do you like best about the product?
The continuous montoring of the controls and collecting of evidence through the seamless integrations to a broad spectrum of cloud apps not only saved majority of effort for auditing, also helped us to excute on the security practices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike, but a notification center will be beneficial to keep better track of action items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We provides SAAS based analytic automation platform for business analysts, which cutomers always hold high standard on data security. Andromeda enabled us to quickly achieve SOC2 certification. More importantly it helped us define and manage the security practices continuously. With Akitra's help, we are able to acquire Type 2 and other major certifications with least efforts in the follow years.

What do you like best about the product?
Akitra provides most of the integrations that we used and they were quick to add and help the ones that were not supported. SAAS platform was easy to use and navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Templates and policies required for specific compliance could be improved for ease of use. Other than that, the team was on top of every question that we asked or get knowledge on the compliance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a cybersecurity AI platform company and SOC-2 compliance gives confidence to the customer that we are taking data and security seriously. It is very highly important for early stage startups like Uno.ai, Inc to differentiate from other companies in the same space that we are building the company with strong compliance standards. It also increases confidences for our customers on our platform, processes and compliance procedures.
Effective platform for compliance management
What do you like best about the product?
Akitra's platform got us HIPAA ready in the record time and Akitra team extended support to our compliance team in identify the required controls. Without Akitra's support this activity would be time and resource intensive for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Enhancing user experience and usability of the platform could be some quick wins for the platform. Having said that, Akitra team is always open to feedback and have a quick turn around rolling out feature requests.

Trucendent feedback on Akitra
What do you like best about the product?
Akita Andromeda Compliance integration with Trucendent saved time by automating log collection. Akitra team integrated Andromeda with Elmah in a matter of days. Their tech team resolved any integration issues promptly, demonstrating their competence in Azure and other technologies.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike. The team was supportive and adjusted Andromeda to include questions relevant to Trucendent. They even customized the risk assessment template per Trucendent needs.
