ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric connects data
Reviewed on Jun 04, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
As a Technical Product Manager working across AI and enterprise platforms, one of the toughest challenges I face is fragmented data trapped in silos while the workflows that depend on it live somewhere else entirely. Workflow Data Fabric helps bridge that gap by unifying data access directly within the ServiceNow platform, so teams can act on the right information without constantly switching contexts or waiting for integrations to catch up.
What do you dislike about the product?
One limitation worth noting is that the initial configuration in complex, multi-source environments can require significant setup time and the involvement of experienced platform administrators. The learning curve is definitely real for teams that don’t have dedicated ServiceNow expertise, and it may take some time to get everything configured and running smoothly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What I find most valuable is being able to surface real-time data from external systems directly within our workflows. This cuts down on the manual handoffs that slow operations and makes automation feel genuinely more reliable, because it’s working with current information rather than stale snapshots.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes data display is slow in the forms while integrating third-party tools. The step-by-step documentation is not clear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric for fetching data from third-party tools, though data display can be slow during integrations. Overall, it's working fine.
