Powerful and Elite, but Complex and Costly
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric's capability for real-time access to external data through its 'Zero Copy' architecture, which eliminates the risk and cost of data duplication. It's incredibly helpful because it provides a unified view of data from systems like Snowflake or SAP, avoiding duplication and stale information. The integration with RaptorDB Pro is another highlight, as it accelerates transaction processing by over 50%, making reconciliation and reporting much faster. I also like how it natively integrates with platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and Google BigQuery, seamlessly accessing live data. It's notable how it connects to ERP systems like SAP and Oracle via Integration Hub, automating settlements and reconciling records efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup for the Knowledge Graph remains highly complex, often requiring specialized architects to map disparate data sources before you can actually use it. Additionally, 'Zero Copy' queries can occasionally suffer from latency when pulling from massive external datasets compared to the speed of locally stored records. The initial setup for ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric is generally considered complex and carries a steep learning curve, as it requires a high level of architectural planning to map disparate data sources effectively. While pre-built 'Zero Copy' connectors for platforms like Snowflake simplify the technical linking process, defining the Knowledge Graph to ensure data context remains a time-consuming task for most teams. It loses two points because the high license cost and the complex, architect-level setup make it a heavy lift for many teams to get off the ground.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric eliminates data silos and 'stale' records, cuts integration costs by up to 70%, and accelerates transaction processing by over 50% with real-time data access via 'Zero Copy'. It streamlines live data management without duplication risks.
Centralized Data Management with Agentic AI and Strong Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
I like that they centralize data management features and combine them with an agentic AI approach in a single platform. It also includes multiple integrations with different sources and delivers good performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don’t like about ServiceNow in general is the pricing model. It can be hard to know whether I’m really getting a good ROI, because sometimes it isn’t truly measurable. Another point is that putting everything into a single platform is, in some ways, a good thing, but it also creates a strong dependency on them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’ve always seen ServiceNow as a strong IT and HR Operations knowledge base—a truly golden source where we should be able to extract the right patterns and make decisions at the right time. In the past, you typically needed an entire data and BI ecosystem, along with third-party tools and expert vendors, to support this. With this in place now, it’s much easier to implement data solutions directly within ServiceNow.
Easy to Understand Overall
What do you like best about the product?
It ERP integration Connectors, which allow AI agents and workflows to access, act on, and analyze real-time data from external sources (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) without copying, replicating, or migrating it. This reduces integration costs, improves data security, and enables immediate, context-aware automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Complex Setup and High Configuration Effort: Users frequently describe the initial setup as challenging and time-consuming, requiring significant technical expertise.
High Licensing and Overall Cost: It is often considered expensive, making it difficult for smaller organizations to justify the investment.
Performance Limitations:

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ServiceNow workflow automation transforms manual, high-touch processes into streamlined digital workflows, accelerating tasks and improving accuracy across the enterprise. It utilizes tools like Flow Designer (no-code automation), Process Automation Designer (cross-platform, end-to-end flows), and RPA to connect legacy systems, automate approvals, and reduce manual effort.
Bringing Everything Together with ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric is how it brings all your data into one place. It just makes everything feel simpler, workflows run smoother, and you don’t have to chase information everywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don’t like about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric is that it can feel complex at the beginning. Setting it up and understanding how everything connects takes time, especially if you’re new, and it can be a bit overwhelming at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric solves the problem of having data scattered across different tools and teams. Instead of jumping between systems, everything is connected in one place.
For me, that means less time searching for information and more time actually getting work done. It makes decisions faster and workflows feel much smoother.
