Very easy to use too. The support staff is great.

My IT department is hard to work with which makes SEEQ hard to work with.

What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to access the data easily and draw insights
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not have a User Interface that is easily deployable on the manufacturing shopfloor for anyone to see and use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think they are solving the batch manufacturing issue in the upcoming release. It will help me better provide context for manufacturing

Graphical user intreface and Ease of Use

There is some training needed and some better training resources would be good. It is much better than the past.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seeq is key for plant analysis which is the heart of troubleshooting and continuous improvement. As a Lean Process improvement type, this is a great tool.

Easy data cleansing, chain and capsule views

Sometimes a bit slow when retrieving long timeseries

Troubleshooting is much faster as we are now able to get timely insights

Best interface on trending process engineering data for analytic task

I would like to have a folder like heiarchy for displaying PI AF structure on finding asset and attribute
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps trouble shooting any process eng issue by very quickly adding all required data into a single trend. Best tool on creating calculated tag from raw.
It's so good that we scaled it from one single batch process to the entire petrochemical complex
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to use. One hour is enough to start adding value to the daily work of an engineer, but it has very advanced features which also help to solve the most ambitious use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any comment in this regard. I am quite happy with the Software. Maybe the connection with Lims Labware is not as good as it could be, but I understand it's also a problem of the data we want to use in Seeq.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's changing the paradigm of how we use data to find solutions. From Root cause analysis to daily monitoring of the plant. Also it is useful to optimize the process as it facilitates the visualization of the data so hidden deviations are found.
Easy to use with a lot of horsepower under the hood
What do you like best about the product?
SEEQ combines a powerful search engine, fast data display and review, powerful tools, ease of use and (nearly) unlimited possibilities with data lab. Also the SEEQ team is very responsive on issues and ideas
What do you dislike about the product?
oData is a helpful tool, but it is difficult to maintain (e.g. it is not possible to adapt existing data streams). Also I do not like the line based concept of organizer (like Word) - I'd like to have a whiteboard on which I can arrange context the way I like (like PowerPoint).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SEEQ helps us to quickly analyze operational problems like cycle time deviations, excess energy consumption, valve failures etc. Based on this we could already improve a couple of processes.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, setup is relatively easy. The ability to get results and insight makes the application stand out above other solutions
What do you dislike about the product?
Not having email alerts on continuously running analysis. Organiser could be made more dynamic with dashboard like facilities

Control system optimisation, Root cause analysis, business planning and Market pricing prediction.

What do you like best about the product?
The richness of the data you can extract from your databases, analyze, and visualize is tremendous! We have been able to monitor our equipment and processes more closely, and ad hoc data analytics for investigations have noticably improved investigatin times. Also, the service from the Seeq time has been spectacular.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes. Do the training, there is definitely a learning curve. Get your data scientists partnered with your process experts to assist in best analyzing and visualizing your data.
