Data stored is very secured and in an isolated architecture.

What do you like best about the product?
The system is straightforward and very easy to understand. As soon as I could log in I was able to start transferring data with absolutely no training. The different option related to sharing data are excellent and give us the choice on how we want to manage our data shares.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are located relatively far away from where the data center is - on a completely different continent - so we found that data transfer speed was initially challenging but as our internet connections have improved locally we are finding it easier and easier to use ExaVault and the speed issue is almost non-existent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've managed to solve the problem of multi-stakeholder collaboration and document sharing. While there are other systems on the market, we found that Exavault helped us to scale up quickly for our project need. A central control point and easy distribution made the choice very easy for us. We've benefitted tremendously from the time saved in sharing data, and we can easily show our compliance teams an audit trail on the system, which alleviates a lot of extra re-work for us.

Sharing files securely and reliably between all our remote users, as well as securely sharing files to and from our customers, who often are sending us confidential information.

Exavault is a very reliable, high speed, and secure service, which we have relied on for several years. We've found the service to be exemplary in all regards.

Easy to use professional FTP Service
What do you like best about the product?
Exavault's solution is easy to use and it's onboarding process is one of the most straightforward in the industry.

We did not experience any downsides of Exavault's services.

Data transfer and sharing files with customers without the need of additional third party services.
Good but not great for secure file transfers
What do you like best about the product?
The service is easy to use and is entirely web-based. This is very important for certain companies that will not allow installation of secure FTP apps. Support is also good. The staff is responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing structure was completely overhauled and now costs much more than it used to. The one overriding factor that pushed us to their solution was that they had a very reasonably priced plan for unlimited users. That plan got pulled just about one year after we initially enrolled. If they are going to make such a huge change, they could at the very least grandfather the existing accounts.

Secure transfer of sensitive information to clients and vendors. Benefits include mostly time savings over other means of exchanging information securely. Easy web interface also saves time and training/

Shop around. It used to be best value but not any longer.
Ideal Cost-Effective Solution for Law Firm Receiving/Sending Large Files
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Very reasonable cost. Permits us to include firm logo and colors, which reinforces the brand, has professional look, and gives clients more comfort that files are coming from the firm. Like that the domain clients see includes our firm's domain.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I dislike. However, doesn't have as many features as some competitive services. However, (1) we do not need any more features than what ExaVault offers and (2) don't want to pay the extra price that would come with more comprehensive solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With our transactional law and estate planning practice, we routinely need to send and receive large files, such as closing binders, large sets of loan documents, and schedules and exhibits to business purchase agreements. This allows us to send and receive these large files without emails bouncing or worrying about security. I've also found that clients receiving emails or notices via ExaVault don't have issues with the emails/notices getting stuck in spam. Even our older, less technologically savvy clients have never had a problem receiving or uploading files via ExaVault.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When we started our law firm after leaving an extremely large, well-run firm, we spent a lot of time (much more than I originally expected) researching and demoing fresh, best-in-class but reasonably priced software solutions to make us as efficient as possible with an excellent client experience. Key software solutions included practice management, estate plan doc generation, title insurance / real estate closing, document management, and file transfers. Our file transfer solution (Exavault) was by far the best, out-of-the-gate solution. Easy to setup and utilize, did exactly what we needed (and nothing more that would add complexity to the interface or process), and well priced (although the pricing has gone up since we first started using them). Other solutions either took much more effort to get it where we wanted it to be or never met our standards and expectations.

Full featured ftp for all skill levels. Users can be given a set of instructions and they can share a large file using Exavault.

Users still need to be coached if they want to use the advanced features and

Provides a consistent and reliable means to transfer CAD files between our company and a contractor in India.
Reliable and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of ExaVault is its ease of use. The user interface makes navigation easy as well as the ability to find files.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price point is a little high given we are a nonprofit but have decided that the value ratio makes it worth purchasing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to use ExaVault as a means for our middleware to interact with our data platform. The ease of use makes this process much simplier.

It is one of the best out there.
A feature rich cloud based MFT for businesses of all sizes
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that all the setup is handled by Exavault within seconds of signing up, there is no messing around with installing OSes, FTP servers and configuring things - it is just ready to begin setting users up and transferring files. It offers FTP, SFTP and HTTP/S file transfers and has a clean web GUI that can be used to upload/download files. They have excellent support which responds within a very short space of time to requests for assistance and their pricing is extremely competitive compared to other solutions.

There is nothing to dislike about Exavault.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been using Exavault to handle transferring hourly files from our systems to our customers/suppliers' systems. Previously we were using an AWS hosted solution that was costing us 5 x more per month than Exavault, so for us we have achieved a cost-saving and gained a much easier to manage system.
